“You are just the person who’s responsible for announcing the tournament rule. How dare you act all high and mighty?” Ye Mo said coldly. “Do you really think that Limestone City has no powerful warriors? Do you want this pouch? I can give it to you–that’s if anyone of you can take it from me.”
Not even one person got to see how Ye Mo had sent the leader flying. All they knew was that Ye Mo had to be at least as strong as a Spirit Cultivating Ninth Realm warrior to be able to injure him, even if it was a sneak attack.
“How dare you!” the leader shouted in pain as he stood up while holding his chest. “Guys! Take him! We’ll show him what it’s like to go against the Qingyun Alliance.”
With his order, the Limestone City’s warriors took a few steps back. Yet, all seven disciples standing on the stage did not move an inch.
“What are you guys doing?” the leader shouted as he saw none of them were taking any actions. “Get him!”
“Ma Xuanyi!” a cold voice suddenly shouted. “What do you think you’re doing? Do you think you’re capable enough to represent the alliance?”
The voice was cold but clear, like water flowing down the stream. A girl in her 20’s in a white robe was standing on top of the notice board while an ice blue scarf hung around her neck.
Both her looks and curves were on par with Qi Ying, especially the icy aura around her.
Everyone shifted their attention to the girl.
Even Ye Mo was shocked by her sudden appearances as he did not detect her arrival. He could feel a chill down his spine from her smile. If Xiao Yue’s smile was warm and friendly, then her smile was cold and deadly.
“N-n-nothing, I’m not doing anything,” Ma Xuanyi staggered as his body shook in fear.
“Then hurry up and announce the rules!” the girl said coldly. “You should understand how important your first mission is. You are to head straight back to the alliance once the tournament has ended!”

Ma Xuanyi nodded and quickly put up the notice. Before he left, he turned and gave Ye Mo a warning through his eyes, as if he was telling him “you’re dead!”
The girl in white robe also took a glance at Ye Mo before a cold breeze blew by and a pair of wings grew behind her back. In just an instant, the girl flew away like an angel leaving.
As soon as the Qingyun Alliance’s disciples left, the crowd began to chatter.
“What a pretty young girl. She looks like she’s in her 20’s, but she has already mastered the Energy Wings!”
“The Qingyun Alliance sure is crowded with geniuses. We’ll definitely have a great future ahead of us if we manage to get into it.”
“Damn, I’m willing to get hit by a lightning bolt if I can get myself a wife that’s that beautiful and strong.”
“I don’t think a lightning bolt would be enough.”
“Come on, let’s go check the rules.”
Ye Mo followed the crowd to the notice board and read the rules.
Five temporary arenas would be set in the plaza for the tournament, which normally was elimination based. Warriors could challenge anyone who was standing on one of the arena.
Only warriors who have won 100 matches will gain the right to enter the next round with no dispute. Losers will be eliminated from the tournament.
If none of the challengers are able to win 100 matches, then the warrior with the most wins in an arena will be qualified for the next round. The winner of each arena will duel for the top five spots in the second round.
Not only will warriors from the Qingyun Alliance be on scene to maintain the order, but disciples from the other two major alliances will also be there to host the tournament.
The Qingyun Alliance will be able to recruit the first two places, while the Wushuang Alliance will be able to get the third place, and the Tiandi Alliance will get the last two places.
The main reason why the tournament would only accept participants under the age of 15 was because the Three Major Alliances will only accept new recruits that were no older than that.
The crowd began to discuss the tournament after they had seen the rules. Some of the warriors who thought they could win by chance dropped their heads down since luck played a huge factor in elimination match while the new rules meant that they could only win through their own strength.
Ye Mo was about to leave after he’d read the rules when Ye Changsheng walked into the plaza with Ye Hou behind him. Both he and Ye Changsheng’s eyes met, but Ye Mo quickly withdrew his gaze.
Ye Mo’s biggest enemy at the moment was Man Qi, not Ye Changsheng. Even if Ye Changsheng had gotten stronger, he was only still a Spirit Cultivating Ninth Realm warrior who Ye Mo could defeat easily.
“I’ve told you, you better live until I get back. But looks like I don’t have to do anything,” Ye Changsheng said, thinking that Ye Mo’s chance of survival against Man Qi was slim to none.
“Our battle will definitely come,” Ye Mo said lazily. “You better be ready to use all of your strength, or you won’t even stand against me for a second.”
Even if Ye Mo was surprised by Ye Changsheng’s sudden growth in strength, he was still weaker than Ye Mo.
“Don’t get too ahead of yourself,” Ye Hou smirked. “Now that Changsheng has already reached the Ninth Realm, he won’t budge under your puny attacks. As for your fight with Man Qi, you’re just digging your own grave.”
“Losers should keep their mouth shut,” Ye Mo provoked. “Let’s meet at the arena tomorrow. I’ll show both of you how far are we apart now. I used to be able to defeat you in three moves. Now, I’ll only need no more than a finger.”
Ye Mo walked past them and left.
“Changsheng, you’ll have to defeat him tomorrow no matter what,” Ye Hou hissed as he watched Ye Mo leave with rage. “We’ll have to show him what the Ye clan is made of.”
“No,” Ye Changsheng suddenly said. “We will meet on stage tomorrow, but I’ll lose to him intentionally since being the first or second doesn’t matter much.”
“Wait, what did you just say?” Ye Hou asked in awe. “You’re going to lose intentionally? Don’t you want to retain your position as the best genius in Limestone City?”
“This is what my father wants,” Ye Changsheng said as he walked towards the notice board. “The best in Limestone City is nothing to me. You’ll know what I mean once the tournament ends.”
