Chapter 802 - The Four Young Masters

Chapter 802: The Four Young Masters

Was the man courting death?

The vigilant Liu Bailing looked at Ming Xiu’s subordinate rushing toward Chen Xiu without putting away the jade pipa. The two were from the same clan, but surprisingly, they were fighting with each other for the children releasing the five-colored light.

She could not understand this sort of situation which she was seeing for the first time. But this turn of events fitted perfectly with her plans. When she killed Doludo just a moment ago, she had generated a picture and used it to ask for help from the other music clans. She was convinced that when the music clans of Lakshmi City saw it, they would definitely rush over to her at the fastest speed.

But water far away could not extinguish the fire nearby, so it would take some time for the music clans to arrive, which meant that she needed to stall the enemy.

As long as the twelve holy daughters united, then even if they were jointly attacked by the four young masters of Asura City, they would end up winning and the four young masters could only walk away nursing a grievance.

Ming Xiu was also relatively suspicious about the situation in his heart. After Chen Xiu left Asura City, it was as if he had completely changed and become even more unbridled compared to before. But even if he was even more arrogant, so what? Without any strength to back his arrogance, he was just a lamb ready for slaughter.

Ming Xiu could guarantee that the woman herself could completely exterminate Chen Xiu’s squad. After all, Chen Xiu should be the strongest one among his people, and he was still a bit lacking compared to the woman. He would probably be killed instantly.

The nine black-armored soldiers behind Chen Xiu did not even enter his eyes. Even if the people hired through the guild were at the same level as descendants of branch families, they would still be ruthlessly crushed in a fight.

The woman charged forward, turning into a blur, but the next moment, another blur flew out from behind Chen Xiu and slammed into her. With a loud noise, the woman was thrown backwards, right to Ming Xiu’s feet, and had to wipe a stream of blood flowing down from the corner of her mouth.

Ming Xiu was startled for a moment. How did the script suddenly change? Shouldn’t the girl have used the two blades in her hands to lop off the heads of Chen Xiu and his nine subordinates one by one?

Ming Xiu looked at the girl in front of him and coldly said, “You disappoint me greatly!”

Just as the girl opened her mouth to explain herself, her body exploded like a bomb.

Ming Xiu was left completely startled, while Liu Bailing’s complexion turned deathly pale.

During the second attack of the blonde muscular man, she could see that his strength was comparable to that of gods. Unless someone closely observed the explosive increase in his presence at that instant when he attacked, no one would be able to notice his true strength.

Liu Bailing looked at the eight people standing together with the blond muscular man and a thought suddenly appeared in her heart. If all nine of them were gods, then she would not have the slightest strength to resist.

But fortunately, the internal strife between the two parties had shifted the crisis from her for the time being.

Liu Bailing was constantly praying in her heart for the other heavenly daughters to arrive quickly.

Ming Xiu did not react, too stunned by the sight of the pile of flesh in front of him.

A branch family descendant with good strength was surprisingly killed in one move?

After being silent for a long while, Ming Xiu looked at the nine subordinates of Chen Xiu and suddenly burst out laughing.

“Good, good, good! Chen Xiu, you are really trying to your utmost to obtain the chance to become a god. Surprisingly, you even managed to hire subordinates with such formidable strength. Pretty good, but wait until after this matter is concluded, then I will settle my debt with you.”

After those words, the smile on Ming Xiu’s face vanished, and he looked at Chen Xiu with frosty eyes. If it were not for the three other young masters hurrying over, he would have used the treasure bestowed by the clan to kill Chen Xiu.

“Younger Brother Ming Xiu really has a good temper. As the young master of Morrow Clan, although your subordinate was killed by a branch family descendant, you still didn’t attack to annihilate him. Admirable!”

Before those words could fade away, a group of people walked out of the mountain woods in the west. Chen Xiu glanced toward them and realized that it was the young master of Doro Clan whom he had just passed by, Domingle.

When Domingle’s silhouette appeared from the mountain woods, his fair face was filled with a benevolent smile which even reached the four blinking eyes on the palms of his four hands. Anyone seeing him for the first time would think that he was a completely harmless person.

When Ming Xiu heard Domingle’s words, he coldly said, “Hmph, there’s no need for Doro Clan’s young master to interfere in the matters of my Morrow Clan. Just mind your business, tentacle monster.”

Upon hearing the words ‘tentacle monster’, the smile on Domingle’s face became stiff and he said in a dull tone, “This Chen Xiu from your Morrow Clan passed by me on the road without showing proper etiquette. You are the young master of Morrow Clan so naturally I came to complain to you.”

“What came to complain? You really know how to joke. From the moment we took the mission of fighting for Ancient God Lakshmi’s soul, then regardless of whether our competitors are from our clan or outsiders, we must fight them all.

“If you are dissatisfied with Chen Xiu’s attitude, go and fight him. There’s no need to bother about my opinion, ” Ming Xiu said calmly.

His gaze was on Domingle, but he soon shifted it to Chen Xiu. A moment later, he began to watch like a spectator waiting for a fight.

Chen Xiu’s subordinates were extremely ferocious, so there was nothing better than Domingle provoking him. Regardless of which side lost, it would be beneficial for him.

Domingle examined the situation in front of him. The villagers were surrounding the children releasing the five-colored light, and regardless of whether they were old or sick, all of them were holding a pipa, and the holy daughter of Pipa Clan was standing in front of them.

Chen Xiu was standing three meters away from her, while Ming Xiu was standing even further away, almost at the edge of the plaza.

On the ground, there were two puddles of blood, which were stacked with piles of meat and squashed meat. They were clearly traces of the battle which had happened a bit earlier. Additionally, there were only eight people behind Ming Xiu.

Domingle could guess from those clues that a battle had happened between Chen Xiu and Ming Xiu just then, and the result was that Ming Xiu’s subordinate was killed.

Upon understanding that, Domingle smiled and looked at Ming Xiu who was watching like a spectator without saying anything.

Domingle clearly understood Ming Xiu’s intentions. The strength of Chen Xiu was formidable enough to make Ming Xiu eat a grievance without retaliating, which was why he then wanted to use Domingle as his lackey to waste away Chen Xiu’s strength.

Dominged, of course, was not stupid enough to do something so strenous and unrewarding.

Two of the four young masters had already arrived, and the other two should be arriving to fight for the children releasing the five-colored light as well. Before that, everyone should preserve their strength, since it would be the main battle.

For a while, the plaza turned completely silent.

Before long had passed, a sound echoed from the south and east signifying the appearance of the remaining two young masters. One of them was sitting on an enormous elephant, wearing jade armor on his plump body, and wearing a ruthless expression on his face. The most unique characteristic of this young master was that both his hands were like cattail leaf fans.

His name was Luo Tian, and he was the young master of Rahu Clan.

The last young master was even more carefree, sitting within a golden palanquin which was raised by four muscular men. Through the translucent cotton cloth hanging at the side, a woman with an extraordinary figure could be seen reclining along the seat.

A slight breeze pulled at the cotton cloth, unveiling what was inside. It exposed the woman wearing revealing clothes that showed off her fair white skin and who had a face that could be considered as absolutely perfect, especially her eyes which could leave anyone spellbound.
