320 Your Ladys Sweet Gathering ④ - Results
That's how an hour went by and our food was done.
The food is packed in a trolley and entrusted to the hands of a boy with a small surname. The amount of one's head is a whisper, but because eight ladies are waiting for it, it becomes quite voluminous as a whole.
And this time especially, the cooks were allowed to ascertain the flavor on the same occasion.
When playing with flavor comparisons, they rarely develop that kind of taste as a pastime.
Stand by the martial officer's standing door, make sure the Jomtien bell rings, and then set out to the gardens.
In the table beneath the round roots were the same figures of the ladies as before.
"Oh, I've been waiting for you. Enjoy our tongues."
Eurifia appeared to be in a better mood than Wellhide and other welcoming party folds.
It is a complicated state of mind because it is an unexpected ease with the future Duchess, and although it did not feel bad for me, I also feel it is dangerous to be overly eyed.
"Sort of nice"
"Looks very tasty"
"I've never even seen this sweet before."
Likewise was the Lady of the Viscount.
Refraia has a soaked face, and the tiny Odifia stares at a plate that is arranged on the table with a candle of eyes.
The three guests, who are noble blood muscles, are very quiet, even though they have their eyes shining in anticipation, completely indispensable expressions, and challenging eyes.
"For fairness's sake, let's hide who made which confectionery until the taste comparison is over"
Eurifia made a declaration to that effect.
"Four kinds of confectionery, and four stars each. How many stars to give to one confection is everyone's freedom. So how many stars can you earn?"
Then the stars crossed evenly to all of them and it was my untrue feeling that the four of them wanted to cut the goal tape together.
However, although I have done my best, I have a strong impression that Limi-Luu and Tour-Din are objectively better. It was easy in a way because there was no strong desire to win, and because it was in the mood that it would be difficult to win no matter how hard I tried.
"See you later, too."
Eurifia's smile drops us off, and we move.
In the same place, that said, it still doesn't surround the same table. A table and a seat for us had been prepared in the shadow of the stone pillars and the sight of your ladies was invisible.
The number of people is five. It is for me, Rimi-Lou and Tour-Din, and for Jan and his assistant Nicolas.
"This girl seems to have good cooking skills, so she's in the middle of a lot of training."
Jan said so.
Nicola still has a bumpy face today and is quietly on the table.
"We won't even have to hide who made which treats.... Whose work is this strange treat?
"Oh, that's Rimi-Lou's!
And, our people speak up cheerfully.
Prepared by Rimi-Lou was a caron milk-tailored chatch cake.
The difference with the tasting the other day is that it's honeyed on top.
And the nectar was not just nectar, but a blend of panem nectar from the time of maple syrup and black honey-style ones made by simmering sugar.
The mistletoe filling that I used to rub also seemed suitable for Rimi-Lou's chutch cake. But it is delicious enough just to sprinkle with Panam honey. Then it was my suggestion that the blend would be the result of Limi-Lew's adoption.
I was the one who suggested it, but it was Limi-Lu who determined the ratio of the blend. I can get 20 white copper coins for this job, so Mother Meer Ray told me that you can use honey as much as you like in the form of a deduction from it.
Even though it is expensive, 0,5 litres for about six red copper coins is a Panem nectar that you can buy. Using it carefully, one spoon at a time, Rimi-Lou completed the honey ratio.
And because honey is used, the sugar of the cake body is cracked. In addition, honey must also be used in an appropriate amount to avoid killing the flavor of herbs when caron milk or cinnamon is used. It took Rimi-Loux three days to complete this flavour so that the flavour of the sugar burnt black honey and the sweetness of the Panem honey could be maximized.
"Wow, yummy!" It was Nicolas who first raised his voice.
Then he immediately returns to the top of the Buddha and bows his head, "Excuse me," he said.
"It sure is delicious. .. my little girl like you can work out such a brilliant flavor"
Jan also said as she was impressed, and Rimi-Lou smiled lightly, "Eh heh".
"But you haven't lost this treat either. Is this Asta's work?
"No, that's Thur-din's work"
Tour-Din is a battle participant in the Hotcake-style Poitan.
There is only one improvement. Only served over baked dough with raw cream of caron milk.
When I made the hot cake in Fuwano, it was accompanied by panam nectar and fruit jam, but it was not considered necessary for Tour-Din confectionery made with an exquisite formula.
Even without those things, the sugar, milk fat and eggs condensed into the dough produce a rich sweetness and flavor. The impression was that adding honey and jam to this flavor, which was delicate as if it revealed Tour-Din's temperament, was nothing but rampant.
"What I prepared was this sweet treat."
What I prepared was an aloof jammed doughnut.
I also thought I would try the taste of steamed pudding to the extreme, but when I was fed the caron milk-tailored steamed pudding that Rimi-Lou had already devised, that was the result of having to withdraw again because of the unbeatable taste of the chatch cake.
If you are a doughnut, you have had the experience to try it once at the request of Refraia. And at that time it wasn't up to the cooking method of putting the ingredients inside the doughnut, as much as covering the honey and jam of the panam, so this time it was up to me to work on it.
I similarly envelop the custard cream, because I tried to challenge it, but when I fried it in oil, it got too much heat and the cream returned to liquid form, and I didn't get the results I thought I would.
So I decided to join the war with a doughnut that wrapped the braised aloe jam with sugar and honey in a round dough that I wanted to flatten and covered with melted sugar after I fried it.
It was popular with the sweet woodland ladies.
However, there were many opinions that if I did it, I would be thirsty.
I decided on this menu with the slightest feeling that the tea party would be okay because there would be tea, but what would the result be?
"They all taste great. Once again, I was reminded of the power of Lord Asta and others."
What Jan prepared as such was pie-like confectionery layered with thin fuwano dough.
On a pie roasted by Paris, perhaps a peach with a sauce of minced fruit. And like the Rimi-Lou chatch cake, they also use vanilla like cinnamon, I guess. Appearance and fragrance, it looks delicious without complaint.
"Uh, uh... this has got to eat rimi too, right?
And Rimi-Lou blurs and whispers as he lowers his eyebrow butt.
Maybe this shape reminded me of Timaro's sweets mixed with plenty of liquor.
"Yeah, just try one bite. Because it's not a sin in town to leave a meal behind."
"Ok ahhh... if I can't really eat it, can I give it to ii-fa or something?
"Right. I'll make it easy on you then."
Rimi-Lou had a sad look and threw a small slice of Jan's confetti into his mouth. No, all the time.
Close your eyes, look at the root of your eyebrows, and chew on the dough of the cucumber and fuwano.
With each bite of it, the crease on the root of the eyebrow diminished, and by the time I swallowed it, the glowing grin was all over Rimi-Lou's face.
"Yum! This is so yummy!!
"Thank you," Jan smiled, too.
I tried all of them on my cheeks and they were certainly delicious without complaining.
The fuwano dough is crispy and baked, but its interior conceals a moist texture. I can feel the sweetness of sugar and honey, but it may be more oil than moisture. Is it even stained with the oil of Leten?
Besides, the more I chewed, the more interesting the texture spread.
The crisp surface fabric and the moist inner fabric, plus the muddy feel and the soft fibrous texture that rubs against the teeth all the time, were hidden inside.
All four different sensations are very interesting, and the sauce of minmi and the sweetness of sugar are just right. The vanilla flavour, which tends to become stronger, is even moderately flavoured, with no less delicate consideration than that of Tour-Din.
After a sip of that, the emotion twitched that this might be very delicious.
It doesn't taste particularly flashy. But a completely different emotion had arisen in me than when I mouthed Timaro or Varcus sweets.
Deserves the name of a snack, very light and easy to eat. Now, the different textures don't bore your mouth. A delicate but definite presence that does not allow you to continue eating unconsciously inert can be felt in this confection.
"This is delicious. It may sound like a very rude phrase, but it feels more delicious than any of Jan's dishes we've ever had"
"Thank you," Jan smiled again.
"The texture is very strange. I think this smoothness is the oil of Leten, but other than that, I find it a little sticky."
"That must be Guigo's stickiness"
"Is it Gigo! Sometimes they use ghee for sweets."
A gigo is a vegetable from a potato. I didn't have the idea of using it to make sweets.
I can't even feel the earthy flavor that is characteristic of Gigo at all because it is fevered. I suppose that amount is also taken into account.
"It's not uncommon for cooks to use ghigos for confectionery, even in Genos. Compared to Lord Asta, who uses powder boiled with chatch, it's not surprising."
"Is that right? And then I felt like some kind of thin, pretty chewy fiber, is that some kind of vegetable, too?
"I don't use vegetables besides Guigo. It must be the feel of Kimmus' flesh."
"Kimmus meat? Are you using meat for confectionery?
"Yes, this may not be a very legitimate use even in Genos. We use Kimmus breasts that have been thinly torn and soaked in Panem honey and thoroughly killed the odor"
If you ask me, that could certainly have been the texture of the meat.
But if it's meat pie or something like that, it wasn't my idea to use meat for this sweet treat.
"Yummy. I wish I'd had more."
and Rimi-Lou stares at a dish that seems to have been emptied in a shameful way.
In the meantime, Shayla, who had refrained from doing so to your ladies, came back.
"I got results for the taste comparison. Ladies and gentlemen, gather over there."
We stood in front of the ladies again in rows.
Waiting for the results, I could only predict my ranking.
I thought I'd preach to Ey-Fa when I get home, and that's all I care about.
"Now read him the number of stars. Of course, from the dish that won the most stars."
"Yes, I did.... The first hand is eleven stars. Lord Odifia has given us four stars, and everyone else, one star at a time."
Did this awkward little princess dedicate the score she could have to just one dish?
Odifia just wants Shayla to know her name quickly.
"What was chosen was the dish of Master Tour-Din with Poitan"
For a moment the scene calmed down, in which Tour-Din said, "Huh...?," he said anxiously.
Eurifia smiles gracefully as she stares at that figure.
"Well? You mean Tour-din? I had three strange dishes, so I had no idea which one of the folks by the woods made... but your dishes were the only ones everyone gave the stars to. Congratulations."
Tour-Din grabbed at me with a kind of crying face.
I slap that shoulder and make him laugh, "Congratulations."
"Second, eight stars. Three Seranges, two Vestas, one Eurifia, one Deal and one Siri-Low."
Shayla is finally reading up on further results.
"What was chosen was Yang's dish with Minmi"
Jan breathed heavily before drooling her head.
Towards you, Siri-Low sticks his sharp gaze.
"Was that your work?... you were talking about the head chef at Count Dalaim's?
"Yes, while overstepping"
"It was a very common fuwano treat, but it was impeccable to flame and season. Also, I think it was a great idea to use Kimmus meat, although it was a very common treat."
"I'm honored to hear you say too much"
"It's not excessive. I'm sure my master has spoken the same words."
Others had a lady very similar to her sisters, but she praised Jan with her mouth.
Dial is unwillingly wearing his nose head with a difficult face.
But I didn't mean it at all or anything. Jan's confectionery was fantastic, and Tour-Din, who got acclaim for going over it, just wants to congratulate him purely.
"The third, seven stars. Master Eurifia, Deal and Siri-Low are two, and Master Vesta is one star."
Now it's time for Dial to get on with just a few things.
but reality was also heartless.
"Chosen is the dish of Master Rimi-Lou with chacci"
"What?" Rimi-Lou tilts his little neck.
I slapped that reddish hair on your face.
"Congratulations. You were one point short with Jan."
"What, is Asta freaking out? Kind of cute."
"I'm not pathetic. I'm savoring the deliciousness of everyone's sweets, so I'm satisfied."
What I wasn't convinced of was rather the Guests.
Dial is lowering his brow butt at first sight, and Siri-Low is burning his eyes rotten.
In the meantime, my name was read out.
"The fourth, six stars. Master Lifreia and Master Alishna dedicate three stars at a time. It's Asta-sama's dish with aloof."
Did Refraia and Arishna, who dedicated one star at a time to Tour-Din, dedicate the rest to me?
That's kind of an interesting result, and I was all alone inside.
"You don't have to let Asta down, either, because it's the result of all eight of us bumping into the feeling that none of the treats suck. It's just that cooking fried in oil is considered to be out of fashion in Genos, so I guess we're running out of stars."
Smiling gently, Eurifia took it that way.
"I'm afraid," I say, lowering my head.
"Besides, you must be the one who handled your lovely cooks, right? You should be proud of that. How many people in Genos can make sweets as delicious as you?"
"Oh, come on," a tongueless toddler sounds there.
Naturally, she is Princess Odifia, son of Eurifia.
"The freak just now was amazing. I want to see you again."
"Well, you can't do that, Odifia. Candidates forbid you to serve the people of the woods as cooks. .. at least for now"
"... glaring, can't you?
"Yes, I can't."
The young princess turned into a blushing face, and that's how she looked back at Tour-Din.
"Well, make a freak out of Odifia again sometime, huh? Fuck you, huh?
"Well, I can't go into or out of the castle without the permission of the chief..."
"It's okay. Because if we speak too selfishly, we will trouble our dear companions. .. but to the extent that it doesn't bother you, I will speak to you again sometime."
If that's about once a month, well, the chiefs will admit it.
Tour-din was going to cry because of his anxiety and joy, so I slapped him on the shoulder again.
"But really, every treat was fantastic. I've put a lot of stars on your Jan, but the other treats were delicious to dream of."
"It's true. We need our chefs to work harder too."
The Lady of the Viscount also speaks out innocently.
And Siri-Low also raised his voice as if he could finally make it.
"Asta, you've been called a good enemy by Varcus, haven't you? Is that the result, and not embarrassed?
"Yeah, nothing to be ashamed of. Guys, it was a wonderful job."
"... your confectionery was sweet the way the fever was put in and the arrow wasn't handled thoroughly. At the welcome feast, well, you were supposed to be finishing that much fried food dish, but what is this body like?
"I'm better at frying meat. I don't deny the sweetness of my arms."
Siri-Low chewed his lips at all costs and then turned away a lot.
"I was still right to refuse to work as a cook today. Defeating you and others doesn't make you proud of anything."
"Well. You look beautiful like that, but you're a lot more emotionally frightened.... I wonder if it would be boring to jump out of the Lowe family and be apprenticed by a cook without that feeling"
Eurifia is laughing delightfully.
Speaking of which, Dial and Arishna, the guests of the Castle of Genos, are still servants, and Siri-Low is an apprentice of the cook. Does being able to attend your lady's tea party mean that it is somehow from a famous family?
"Whatever it was, it was a good time. The promised reward will be given to you when you leave Swan Palace."
I guess that was the signal for eviction. Shayla greets us quietly and invites us down the stone road.
Ai-fa came to his face as he stepped there, went back indoors, and on the road he was aiming only to summon between.
"You don't care about winning or losing, Asta."
"Yeah, that's what I think, basically."
"But how would you feel if I lost everything compared to the power of a hunter?
I glanced sideways at Ai-Fa's expression.
As expected, Ai-Fa's lips have become so wrapped up that there is no more.
"Hmm, I can't imagine very well, but I'm sure you'll regret it"
"Right. So you can understand my mood, too?
"Yeah...... instead, make sure Ey-Fa understands too, okay? Today's opponents are hunters, and they were all chosen by eight brave men."
I = fa turned away from everyone, with the same look on his face, and shrugged his head.
I guess I don't care that I'm being left alone because I-Fa looked so sorry even when Dan Rutim was the other guy.
Of course, I don't think I could have stayed so calm if the subject wasn't confectionery making. When I was dealing with Varcus in six dishes, I was supposed to be very excited.
But now, Tul-din and Limi-Lu and I were in a better mood to congratulate Jan on the results.
After all, I don't see confectionery making as my own business. Even if Siri-Low points out the sweetness of cooking, I don't feel like getting any more training. If I had time for that, I'd like to spend some time practicing Giva cooking.
So I was being aroused in another direction.
I want to please people who eat in Giva's dishes, I want to bring them happiness - like Tour-Din and Limi-Luu and Jan today - and those thoughts filled my chest once again.
Let's start by reviewing the dedication in the Inn Town for the current approaching Easter of the Sun God.
So that one could convey the deliciousness of Giva to many - and so that the people of the woodland could gain more richness by selling the meat of Giva - from the very beginning, the task I had to perform was one of them.
And in addition to that - I decided to bring my thoughts to the parents who were ultimately shaved.
"I'm sorry, Ai-Fa. I really can't be so passionate about making confectionery."
"... why?
"'Cause I-Fa doesn't seem to be interested in sweet treats at all,"
Ai-Fa has been quiet for a while and then kicked me in the leg with so much force.
That was how several jobs in Castle Town were supposed to end safely.
