Chapter 379 - Secret To Reach The Third Realm!
After the small incident with Emera, Khal decided to go back to his residence to rest.
Luckily, after destroying his own home when he became a Limit Breaker people had reconstructed it so it looked just like how it was previously!
Walking inside and sitting down on the comfy bed which still felt like a fluff of cloud, Khal raised his hand and summoned the scroll that Hale had been given to him back in the Zero Realm.
"Let's check this out. I wonder what is inside." Khal mumbled to himself and pulled the edge of the scroll which easily opened not like the first time.
Once the scroll was unfolded, Khal began to read the context of it slowly.
At first, his expression was nonchalant with only his eyes showing curiosity, but only after a few seconds into his reading his complexion changed drastically, turning into that of a deep shock!
"What? Is this for real?"
According to the scroll that Hale just gave him, it was a manual on how to reach the Third Realm, the Realm of Misery!
One had to note that after one reached the Fourth Cultivation Stage and became a Limit Breaker the road to surpass that stage successfully and become an Ascender was extremely difficult and challenging!
It was just as demanding as the bottleneck between the Fifth and Sixth Cultivation Stage back in the First Realm with the only difference being that this was at least twice as hard!
Hence why it was not a great surprise that even after many decades beings were still stuck at the Fourth Cultivation Stage without any signs of approaching the Fifth Cultivation Stage and finally becoming an Ascender!
Yet, with the scroll in his hand, Khal was left speechless that it won't even take him a month to become an Ascender and a little bit more than half a year to enter the Third Realm!
[Why are you so shocked? The scroll in your hands is an item that once was in possession of the Lord of the Zero Realm, a realm which only a few knew about! It is only natural that it contains far superior knowledge than anything and anybody else!]
"I am perfectly aware of that, but still... It's just shocking how a simple scroll can allow one to break the seemingly adamant shackles on one's body as if they were pieces of paper!" Khal sighed, realizing that he was still just a speck of small dust in the vast desert.
After taking a deep breath to calm himself down, Khal showed a confident smile and began to read the whole text on the scroll once again, but this time in greater detail.
According to the scroll, for him to surpass the Limit Breaker Stage he had to turn his Body Essence into a so-called liquefied state before slowly turning that into a small solidified core inside his body which will serve as a 'generator' or some short.
It was common knowledge that beings could only consume the Realm Essence if they were in a motionless state, but with this core in his body, they will be able to consume essence even if they were moving or even fighting!
This meant their essence reserves would become even greater than ever before and the number of times he could use his techniques and abilities would increase tremendously!
Furthermore, the scroll also stated that the essence he will consume will be refined by the core, boosting his physical strength by a massive amount!

'Even the steps are written down in great detail! This is just the best!' Khal felt almost laughing out loud from the pure joy he was currently feeling but resisted the urge and instead sat into a lotus position before closing his eyes and following the steps he has just read.
Time passed relatively quickly, particularly in the eyes of Khal and after about 5 hours later Khal opened his eyes while letting out a great amount of turbid air through his mouth.
[Your cultivation speed is truly terrifying... Are you sure you are even a human?]
Upon hearing Nova's voice Khal couldn't help himself to show a smile.
Indeed, his cultivation pace was truly on another level as he was able to turn a small portion of his gas-like essence inside his Essence Paths slightly denser!
Yes! Just under a few hours, he had already succeeded in something that others could only do after several years of practice and patience!
"It is only because I had this scroll. Without this, I am pretty sure I too would have needed at least a few months." Khal said and closed his eyes once again.
[Few months... I don't know if you slowly start to become arrogant or simply have unshakable confidence as vast as the seven realms!]
Time began to flow faster once again and three days have passed in a blink. Under those three days, except for eating and going out to the bathroom from time to time Khal did nothing but cultivated and made his essence slowly turn denser and denser.
At the start, Khal's process was rather slow but as he got the hang of it and understood the crux of it his speed hastened seemingly without any sign of slowing down or halting!
However, even like this, he was only able to turn about 10% of his essence denser and was far from finishing. It seems his estimation of one month was a good one and he really needed one month before he can become an Ascender!
[It's time for you to meet up with that woman.]
Suddenly Nova's voice sounded in Khal's head forcing him to stop his cultivation and open his eyes, revealing a pair of bright green iris that flickered like two gems of emeralds.
"Thank you." Khal thanked Nova for reminding him and after washing his body and changing robes walked to the entrance of the sect where he told Senior Lin they should meet.
"You are finally here." Senior Lin crossed her arms below her huge bosom, showing a rather impatient face to Khal at the moment, almost as if she had been waiting for him for hours!
"Huh? I am five minutes early before the discussed time, I was not late." Khal showed a puzzled look, not understanding why Senior Lin looked so angry at him.
"Whatever, at least you are here." Senior Lin said and gestured toward Khal to follow her.
'She makes no sense....' Khal shook his head helplessly and without saying anything else followed Senior Lin to the spaceship that stood in the distance.
