26 Chapter 25:Goblin Mages
Taking a break from farming, I went into the outside world again. Picking up the Goblins from the guards to find another village to put asleep.
Searching for a village, I saw that their party was getting really good at fighting in a group. This was most likely probably from the guards taking them hunting and teaching them how to work in a group.
To make things interesting, I split them up into two balanced team and gave them two objectives. The first objective was to get better in their weapon/class while the second one was to unlock the Rare Goblin evolutions. Both of these objectives could be seen themselves and by me in their class up options. While the prize was the promise of better food to the one who wins. The reason why I did this was obviously to start competition and make them interested in getting stronger faster.
While we were raiding a village, I found something somewhat interesting. The chief of the Goblins village was a Hobgoblin while the Goblins wife of it was a mage. This was great because having a mage added to the party would be a great help.
Not holding back, I gave the newest Goblins the level 5 stats increasing abilities but increased the level in the intelligence abilities to help the Goblins learn the magic books I was going to give her to read.
Since the Goblins couldn't read or write, I gave them intermediate reading and writing skills while giving the mage Goblins advance versions to help it study.
One thing I found out was that I couldn't increase the affinity someone has while also learning I couldn't do the same to bloodlines.
The reason why affinity couldn't be change was because it's indicates someone NATURAL talent or ability in it and changing that wasn't natural. Meanwhile bloodlines couldn't be changed because no one had the same cells and bloodline as the person I'm trying to increase their bloodline since only a clone or identical twin with a better bloodline would make it work.
Fortunately, there are other ways to increase someone's bloodline and also technically do so for affinity. For affinity, I could just give someone the actual skills or abilities instead of affinity. While bloodlines can be increased in different ways; bloodlines activating pills, classing/evolving up, and if your a psychopath, killing others with the same bloodline and drinking it. Although the last way could cause problem because with live since you murdered people and blood wise if the different types of blood might fight each other and cause more damage than good if you don't have a way to handle it.
Moving on, besides the Hobgoblin's wife, there was another female Goblin in the village. Not really surprisingly, that female Goblin copied the other Goblin and chosed to become a mage as well.
Giving the second female mage Goblin the same skills and abilities as the first one, I used the experience stone to transfer excess Xp I got from the level 25 Goblins into them before leaving to search for the next village.
...
While hunting in the forest, I saw a Wythern flying throw the sky holding a large lizard in between its claws.
Leaving the Goblins, I casted [S+. Greater Flying] onto myself and follow the Wytherns to its nest in a nearby rocky mountain.
Looking from behind a large rock, I could see that there were about 24 Wytherns. Looking at the 12 nest that were made, I saw about 20 eggs in each one.
Shomei:I wonder how there eggs taste?
Eva:... I'll just say it, they should taste pretty good. Although Dragon and and Phoenix eggs are probably best. But they're really hard to get because Dragons and Phoenix don't lay many eggs because of how long their lifespan are and how little the chances of birth are.
Shomei:That's good, but I don't really care about Dragon or Phoenix eggs since they're probably intelligent beings and I'm more for riding them than eating them... although I might want to taste one some day.
Eva:...
Shomei:"Fog of Somnolence"
Seeing the Wytherns drop one by one into sleep, I walk over and drag them into my Inner World while also taking the eggs.
When the witches saw me bring in sleeping Wytherns, all of them had blank faces and didn't know what to say.
Recovering the fastest again, Esmeraldà walked up to one of the Wytherns before plucking out some scales and putting them into her bag.
Shomei:"Don't take to much, I want to keep them alive and healthy"
Esmeraldà:"... Ok"
Leaving, I went to get the rest of the Wytherns.
