106 Need For Evidence
Bob and a few others who were injured are being treated by a town doctor.
I sit at a side thinking about how to take down the general.
Bob walks up to me, "Why didn't you follow the general?" Bob asks me. "It's not that easy Bob." I say.
"A general knight is a commander of many knights, it's not easy to take one down just by killing one." I say to Bob. I understand what Vasteria meant by gather evidence on their doing.
"To take down a general knight, one must first gather evidence against them. After all, a general knight is someone who is chosen by a paladin and paladins are trustworthy people within the councils. So to prove that a paladin was wrong to pick a certain general knight is not easy. You will be considered a traitor if you kill a general knight without any reasons unless you're on the higher hierarchy of the council." I keep mumbling.
Bob seems to be surprised.
"What's the matter?" I ask Bob.
"How do you know so much about the knight system?" He asks me. "Well, I just studied a lot of shit when I was a kid that my mom taught me. So I know a lot about knights due to that and plus my mom was a knight." I say to Bob.
"Yeah...Jill Marshal was quite a famous knight." Bob says.
I get up on my feet. "Anyways, the simple fact is, we need evidence. That's the only thing that can help us take down the knight. Some villagers are not going to help here. We need a solid evidence." I say.
"Umm..." A girl in a yukata who has long hairs upto her waist walks up to me. "You see...There is something that can be used as evidence..." The girl says.
"What would that be?" I ask to her.
"You see...Whenever a person who is handicap tries to get treatment from the doctor that is provided by the council...They never come back..." The girl seems to be looking away from me. Is she scared of something?
"Are you trying to say that something like that happened to you?" I ask the girl. The girl nods. "My brother, Shukai isn't back yet. He was a fully fledged knight and was working under the general of this town but one day he got into a fight with another knight over a woman. My brother killed the knight but his right arm got cut off by his enemy. So my brother went to get treatment from that doctor." I hear the girl's story.
"What about this woman you speak of?" I ask the girl. "She has disappeared from here...It's like there is trace about her...I remember though, the woman had a blue dragon tattoo on her neck and had blonde hair." The girl says. My eyes widen. The only person who I know has that type of appearance is...Tsch!
"Alright, I will dig into your brother's case and try to find out what is happening." I say.
"Please do..." The girl clenches her heart. "His the only family I have." The girl says. "What's your name?" I ask the girl. "It's...Tamura Urika..." The girl says her name.
*Pat*
I keep my hand on the girl's head. "Everything will be fine." I say and smile.
"Is something on your mind Henry?" Bob asks me.
"Yeah, I am about to break into the general's office, right now, right away and take any evidence I get from here." I say to Bob.
*Swoop*
"What the- HEY WAIT FOR ME!" Bob screams out as I take a leap towards the council office of this town.
*Smash*
*Bash*
I smash right through the top of the building.
"WHAT THE HECK?!" The general seems to be surprised.
"I didn't expect you to break in so quickly." The general says to me.
"Same here but the situation has changed because I heard that you are an ally to the destructors." I say as I crack my neck.
"I guess someone knows my secret, so I just have to kill that person." The general smirks as a huge robotic type of figure appears behind him.
What is that? A human or a robot? Whatever it is, I need to take care of that thing first. The worst thing is I can't sense it's mana...Tsch!
*Swish*
The robot with human inside it appears in front of me.
*Swoop*
I dodge it's attack and jump to the side but...
*Crack*
Damn...This thing is not only quick but strong too....
*Smack*
Something heavy hits my head and it seems I am losing my consciousness.
"That was quick, kill him now." The general orders.
A wind blows and the young boy who broke into the general's office disappears.
"What just happened?!" The general seems to be shocked.
