The Dungeons Endless Predicament

8 My Body

"I look like I'm 15?"

"Yep. Isn't this normal for you?"

"Of course it's perfectly normal... Like hell it is!!!"

John then immediately searches in the rewards tab for a mirror. After sorting through things such as the jade light mirror and the sealing mirror he found one that would work at the very bottom of the list called the slandered polished silver mirror. After buying it for 1 point he gets a good look at his own face. Reflected back at him is himself but as he looked at 15 but slimer and more healthy.

(Just what is going on with me? Why do I look younger? Wait could anything else be different?)

Realizing this John starts to check himself and finds that he no longer has any scars. Not even the bad ones on his wrist he got during an accident involving a glass door. He kept searching himself and found that any evidence from the times he had ever broken a bone were also gone. Even little things like his nails looked healthy to an almost strange degree.

"What What happened to my body? Now that I think about it what about my injuries."

John was filled with questions. After he thought for a few moments he remembered how dungeon masters come to be. A lost soul absorbed or summoned by a dungeon core. Which explained his lack of scars but not the age regression.

"Liz is it normal for a persons body to become younger after becoming a dungeon master?"

"No but considering your frantic reaction just now it seems that just like me your body is younger than it should be. This may have to do with our core being different from others."

"So this might be because of the core. Not just that going by how old I look my body should be about 12 maybe 13 right now."

"Wait. What do you mean 12 you clearly look 15."

"Ah Well the thing is I've always looked older than I actually am. It's caused a surprising number of problems over the years."

"What kind of problems?"

"Well things like getting hit on by women who think I'm legal at one of my cousins birthday parties. Or one time getting invited by some college students to drink with them. Now that was awkward to explain to them especial since they were already drunk."

"So this has been happening for a long time? Well either way this is still good news."

"It is? Feels like it will cause more problems."

"Actually with your body being younger it will be easier to cultivate the first stage and thus make the later ones less of a problem."

"Well that's at least a plus for me. So if my body became younger so did yours huh. What did you look like when you were full grown?"

"I was on the better side but people tended to exaggerated how I looked."

(Wonder what she looked like. Now that I think about it what even is Liz?)
