57 Simon Drak
While Sagar wanted to bring up the topic of his grandparents to his mother he didn't feel like dampening the atmosphere created by them coming back. Instead when they had arrived at an empty room to talk in he presented his gift for Aquilia who was happy to receive the necklace not because she knew the value or what it did but because it was shiny. Sagar explained to his mother how he came to acquire such a item and a it's uses as well.
Eventually while they were talking James showed up, he briefly bowed to Umbra knowing who she was, even though Umbra didn't like such courtesies James didn't give her time to deny it before he moved on. Turning to Sagar, James spoke his true intention in coming here, "Sagar, do you think I could borrow you for a bit there's someone here at the residence that would like to meet you."
Sagar nodded his head in agreement and waved off everyone telling them he would return whenever he finished up with whoever James wanted him to meet. James himself didn't mention who it was that wanted to meet him but Sagar assumed that it was someone who wasn't here whenever he was previously at the residence. As they were walking through the hallways of the manor James only made small talk with Sagar asking him how everything at the academy was going.
They started walking up more and more stairs until they arrived at the last floor of the main manor that the Drak's owned. The main manor itself had up to five floors and Sagar had never gone past the third floor as he never needed to do anything past the third floor. On the fifth floor there weren't too many rooms to it, there were only a few with one big room being the center of the other rooms. It was similar to the meeting room that Sagar saw all the elders in when he first arrived here at the residence.
James stood outside the doors waving his hand towards them signaling for Sagar to enter while saying, "I'll take you this far, I was actually in the middle of doing some important work when I was notified to bring you over, so if you'll excuse me."
Without waiting for Sagar's answer James walked off leaving just him in front of the door. Walking up to the door Sagar knocked a bit asking if he could enter but all he was met with was silence. Since this person wanted to meet him they probably wouldn't mind him entering without their permission so he began to open one of the doors.
The room was covered in a heavy atmosphere that was almost suffocating. It was pretty much empty with almost no furniture contained within it and the lighting was also very minimal that there might not have been any lights in the first place. Making his way further into the room Sagar eventually came across a figure sitting on the floor. From what Sagar could make out the figure wasn't wearing any sort of shirt only having some kind of clothing covering his bottom half. Sagar couldn't see the figures face as he was turned away and all he could see was the cascading white hair flowing down the figures back.
Before Sagar could get any closer it seemed that the figure long noticed his presence and increased the amount of pressure in the room or at least the amount around Sagar. At this point Sagar was struggling to stand correctly even with his strong body he felt his bones creaking under the strain. Sagar had seen plenty of strong people especially from the family but he hadn't seen anyone past the Saint rank at least as far as he could tell. Out of the elders and James just from the energy he could feel the strongest one among them was actually Elder Bella she was also the oldest. This figure here looked at least around her age but the amount of energy he put off was far stronger than that of the Saint rank, so all that could only mean that he was at least of the Ancestor rank.
Sagar wasn't sure how long the pressure was put onto him but it eventually ceased with the figures rough voice erupted in laughter. Sagar was sweating pretty heavily but he was still clear of mind so he was able to see that the figure stood up and turned to face him. Sagar got a better look at the man's body seeing the multiple scars covering it whether that be on his chest, arms, or face. Besides his the scars on his face he had a large white beard covering it as well but Sagar could see the smile that was underneath it.
"You did well boy. I was wondering how that little girl's brat was going to turn out when I heard that she had a son. I've heard many things about you from her as well whenever I had got back a month ago.", he looked at the boy with raised eyebrows, "So, have you figured out who I am? I would be disappointed if you didn't after all that little girl bragged about how intelligent you were."
Sagar would be foolish if he didn't figure out who this was at this point, "You're my great-grandfather Simon Drak."
This was the man that James spoke of whenever Sagar first arrived here with him being the developer of the 'Explosion Martial Arts'. Sagar had long learned his name from the books within the Drak library and it wasn't only because of the technique he had developed but also because of his exploits from the past. Simon Drak was very well over a hundred years old as some of his feats could be traced to that time. He was also the husband of Bella Drak.
Both Bella and Simon were the oldest in the Drak family along with both being the most powerful in the family. Obviously from this meeting Sagar was able to figure out that Simon surpassed his wife in power. The both of them have not only protected and taken care of the family for generations but they have also served the empire whenever they were expanding across the continent all those years ago.
"Well said boy it's nice to meet you. I could say I'm surprised that there was another person who was able to have strong body in the Drak family or at least I'm surprised I was able to live to see it.", he sat back down on the floor this time facing towards Sagar, "Either way while I would love to train you I know that you're busy with academy stuff, not only that but the next time you are going to be able to come back to the residence I'll have left for my own business.", having a bit of a sly smile while he continued, "But I'll make sure to train you during these next two weeks."
While Sagar doesn't mind training he felt like the old man was going to make him train the entire time not letting get any breaks. Seeing the look on Sagar's face Simon started breaking out in a hard laughter, "Don't worry boy it'll only be in the morning after that you're free to do what you want. I'm not that cruel to deprive you of your short break.", Simon paused a bit then said with glee, "Unless you want to that is."
Sagar denied Simon's insistence but Simon didn't mind at all. The two of them continued talking for a bit of time before Simon let Sagar go back to spending time with his family. Their discussion was mostly on the training he would be doing over the next two weeks which mostly consisted of going over the 'Explosion Martial Arts' Simon had made. Sagar had told Simon some of his accomplishments with the technique but Simon told him to save it for the morning whenever Sagar would demonstrate what's he learned.
