40 Leaving 2
"What are you guys doing?" I asked with a frown on my face. Clearly, they were up to no good. Perhaps when you are that old, like them being millions or billions of years old you turn into a kid... Well, the fact that they been in this place for that long could cause some people to go crazy.
Zamina, Zufan the weird being were playing Rock–paper–scissors game. Of course with their physical abilities, they were all the time tied Their eyes were totally red, focus on the other movements... their Divine Sense is also sealed? The power of those chains was really too strange.
"What are you guys doing?" I asked again this time a little bit angry that I was being ignored.
"Nothing much we are deciding your fate," Zufan answered without bothering to look at me. Clearly, the game was more important.
'Mother fucker! Dares to ignore me...'
A simple thought was all I needed to know how to make Zufan lose.
I approached Zamina, my hand slowly but with a firm decision moved with the intention to caress the broad muscle tendered leg of hers. 'Zufan won't be able to take this move.' Zamina clearly felt my intentions and she didn't bother to move. Sure enough...
"Bastard! Where do you think are placing your hand!" Zufan exploded the chains binding him appeared restraining him.
'As expected..."
"Husband, you lost." Zamina let out a giggle. Truly wonderful, no wonder Zufan was madly in love with her even her being so huge. I couldn't imagine what kind of will power was needed to endure this situation where you can't touch your woman for who knows how many years.
What was totally unexpected is that the small being also lost. It was clear that this small being also liked to piss of Zufan.
"You cheated! You bastard it's your fault." Zufan retorted.
"As long as you don't win anything is worth it!" The small being was clearly happy that Zufan didn't win.
"Zufan don't be so angry, I got good news for you."
"What good news an ant like you can have..." Clearly, Zufan had doubts about my good news. It was to be expected after all I was an ant. But I had my means.
"Before I tell you my good news you guys need to explain what was that about."
"It's simple Ye Bai. We can't leave, but you can. I'm sure the intention you had to seek us is because you want to leave already. Am I right?"
Zamina was as always the smart on. "It's correct. If I'm right you guys know how to exit from here. As far as I knew you guys can roam free on this place. Where Dawn is confined on this Palace." I was more amazed, I was starting to get smart after I broke free of that Demon.
As if Zamina had read my mood she nodded and smiled at the same time. Her hand grabbed a rock and throw it flying up. It took some time but the stone didn't fall in the same place.
I glared at her with an understanding. I came flying down so the way to exit is to fly up. Based on attraction power on this place I could barely fly few hundred meters... but if they were to throw me like the rock, it wouldn't be a problem. Fly... I couldn't help my self but laugh. This father! Will take the opportunity to train!
A devil grin appeared on my face. Followed by a piece of information.
Passive Skill Fly Lv3/100 (0/10000): Increase movement speed by 3% while in the air.
"Do you guys want to play an interesting game?"
I got their attention. After all, they were quite bored. So I proceed to them to explain my great idea. Since just falling from the sky gave me exp points for the Fly skill. If they throw me like a ball through the sky... should be the same right? They found interesting the idea of tossing me to each other as if I was a ball. Specially Zufan whose mood improved a lot upon hearing what the game was about.
And like that the game began.
Ding!
Fly +1,000 XP.
Fly +1,000 XP.
Fly +1,000 XP.
Fly +1,000 XP.
Fly +1,000 XP.
...
Ding!
Passive Skill Fly reached the MAX LVL.
Passive Skill Fly Lv100: Increase movement speed by 100% while in the air.
It totally worked haha. I was in a great mood during the past month they kept throwing myself throw the air. Even cyclons formed around my body. It felt incredible. With this kind of bonus, only a Nascent Soul would be able to catch me!
Ding!
Passive Skill Fly removed.
"Eh!" I started to panic. Cracks a joke? What kind of bullshit is this at most it will evolve the skill? Right...
Unlocked new trait Child of the Wind.
Child of the Wind: The Wind helps you to fly. No Qi expenditure is necessary. The Wind blesses you and boosts your speed through the air doubling it.
"Great!" I exclaimed. That what was better than just the Fly Skill. I could feel something different on my soul but I couldn't quite grab the feeling. I felt for some reason that this improvement will bring me greater benefits later on.
...
"Ye Bai, are you ready to leave?"
"Yes!" I answered with a nod. "But before this, I will like to do something and clarify some things."
"If you are asking for arts its impossible for us to pass them to you..."
I shook my head and replied "I know, Zufan already told me about it. This chain seal sure is odd it even restricts passing knowledge to each other."
"Indeed, otherwise if all of us share all the knowledge perhaps we could escape from this place. Only my mother knows what is this place. I can only tell you that this place is related to the Ancient Ruins. This place is where all the souls on this universe originated from and it's the only place that survived all the previous universe endings. It's quite mystical. My mother and my core also originate from this place."
Both of us remained silent. I knew she was holding something but since she didn't want to express it I wouldn't push her to say.
"You can come anytime you want..." those were the last words before she disappeared.
Indeed I wasn't strong enough yet to should the responsibility of the destruction of the universe. Neither to shoulder all the lives on it... more than ever what I wanted is to exit this place. Get stronger, pass through this calamity. If I could save the people close to me that was enough. As for the rest, I didn't care about them if they could serve to make me stronger and same myself and my people then their lives were worth being born.
