Reincarnation into the World of Naruto

24 Papa Jiro

The egg was finally hatching. Jiro was watching the egg start to form cracks and he stared at it with anticipation. Faint cracks crisscrossed the shell of the slightly red tinged egg. The constant exposure to his chakra turned it into a reddish shell. The ninety scratches on a piece of stone indicated that he had been in this realm for ninety days. A chair, desk and renovation of the nest indicated that Jiro had been busy in not just training for these months. A hole existed on the side of the nest for the emptying of wastes while a stack of very soft leaves existed on the side near the hole for wiping.

A small ring of rocks and ashes indicated that a fire was recently made and a stone had been carved in order to create a small pot. Jiro's regular clothes were neatly folded on the table while he was wearing a skirt made of leather and a leather shirt. The process of making the leather into a more suitable piece of clothing involved a very large amount of experimenting with chakra and how much the leather could take in. Finally, a stone spear had been formed.

Jiro was naturally not idle during his time in the realm. He had finally formed the whole of the stinger technique. Unfortunately, he had found no way to accumulate natural chakra which left him unable to make the stinger technique tear chakra apart. He also continued to practice his body refining technique on a much more frequent basis as his body began to get used to the effects of it.

Near the middle of the tree, a hive of the bees was present. Jiro had accumulated some of their honey over the time and stored them in his stone jars in case the bird needed some other food when it hatched. It was finally time to see how the bird would look like and Jiro was filled with curiosity.

'Crack, crack, pop.'

The bird finally broke out of the egg and stared in stupefaction and wonder. The bird looked like a red plucked chicken and it was apparently a female. Jiro was shocked at how it looked so much like a plucked chicken, but he was also shocked that it was a female. He had always though that he would get a male eagle, not a female one.

The chick looked around with shiny red eyes that reminded Jiro of his own eyes when the sharingan was activated. The chick immediately locked eyes onto Jiro and he felt a resonance within him that connected him to her. She tried to jump over to him, but her body was weak and fresh. She only flopped over and began to chirp at Jiro pitifully. Jiro stared at her with a rare hint of gentleness present in his eyes, but he did not move from his spot. Jiro would rather let her learn to crawl as well as walk on her own.

She wobbly stood up before falling down flat again. This time she looked up at Jiro with slightly watery eyes. On the inside Jiro was smiling at how cute his daughter was, but he still stood where he was and did not move to help her. The chick continued to wobble towards Jiro and finally fell onto his feet after a few minutes. Even though she was already half his size, Jiro lifted her up with ease and a small smile finally bloomed onto his face. It was a small smile, but it was a smile of genuine joy.

Unfortunately, the moment was ruined when she started to pee all over Jiro. He quickly rushed over to the hole and she finished her business over the hole. Stained with pee, Jiro smelled horrible so he formed a clone to watch over the chick and he ran down the tree while hurrying to the river in order to take a quick bath. Jiro decided to throw the stained leather tunic into the river because the smell might attract predators. He quickly arrived to a shallower part of the river and then washed himself off with the water and pulled out a concoction of minty smelling leaves which were ground into a powder to mask his smell.

As Jiro was washing off, his flawless body could be seen. Not one part of his body was harmed in anyway except for the purplish color of his skin, which was an aftereffect of using the body refining technique. He wasn't marred by any scars, a subtle indication of his power. A fish quickly began to swim towards Jiro with the intention of taking a bite, but a stinger technique to the face quickly turned the fish into a bunch of mincemeat. The river turned red for only a short few seconds before the force of the river washed the fish away.

Using the powder, Jiro smelled fresh and new once again. He arrived back up the tree to witness the chick quickly finishing off all the honey he had stored up. Jiro grew worried that the overeating of honey would harm her, but she immediately fell asleep. As she leaned into the natural warmth of Jiro, he let his chakra leak out to warm her up. He looked down at her and smiled again, but this time it was giddy.

The stars shined and Jiro looked into the sky contented with his time in the realm. As a giant owl flew towards the hive with the intention of eating it, the clones of Jiro simply activated the stinger technique and launched himself at the owl, tearing a hole into the owl. It began to fall towaards the ground and landed with a thud. The clone also fell down, but it dispersed before hitting the ground. As Jiro relived the memory of the clone, he finally came up with a name for his daughter. Kana. In a place where power really decides everything, the most fitting name for his daughter would be Kana.

The bees began to swarm downward to the owl on the floor, and it took several tens of them in order to bring the body up. The body was dragged into the hive where it would be used to produce the honey by production bees deep inside the hive.
