17 Forest Fire
Pine ran as fast as he could. Moon had panted to them that Flowdd was going to burn the forest and Riptide with it. Would he escape safely? Hopefully for now all he could do was run for his dear sweet life. He started to pant. Behind him he heard low roars and the furious hissing of fire. Risking a glace back Pine see that the place is already up in flames. Running faster he flapped his wings a little. He felt fear rave through his veins.
Moon was running as fast as he could Star was doing a strange mix of running kicking and flying. And Buggy was running faster than the wind. Pine could smell the stench of smoke. He cringed and yelled.
" Let's pick Buggy up and get outta here!"
The others began to go over to Buggy. He jumped a little as they all began to lift him in the air. Heading above the trees Pine felt a little relief.
" I am pretty sure due to the hot air we will be able to hover for an hour or two. " He said glancing over the place the TV news up in raging flames. Star whimpered a little. She was usually really brave and bold. But due to the recent events, Pine e didn't blame her. The recent events including Riptide and the invasion, the whole truth about the Night Watchers.
He gasped loudly as he saw Riptide thing to escape. Buggy yelled in horror.
Her face was melting. The scales around her eyes where mixing with her eyes. Her claws looked like they had melted off. Her tail was like a melting line following her. Her wings were cooling off but Pine e saw that there were holes burning in them.
" YOU BASTARD! YOU LOW LIFE STUPID NO GOOD FLOAT ASH PEACE OF SH- " Riptide was yelling about Flowdd. Moon quickly yelled for them to flee and they did swooping down a little. They reached a few miles from the fire in about a half hour. By then the fire had been burnt out. Since Riptide was a Water Wind dragons she probably put the fire out trying to get him. Pine was so exhausted that he barely was able to put Buggy down without dropping him out of the sky. He fell to the ground when he landed and feel asleep in a split second.
