He mumbled?with a pout, and continued: "My great grandfather loved to give everyone an opportunity so seeing a young man with such qualification, he adopted him as his son and added his name into the Xiao family registry as Xiao Gou from Yang Guo."

There was an expression of shock on Yue Wan's face. "His sons didn't object?"

"They did, all except his first son, my grandfather. He happily welcomed him as his brother."

Her entire world transformed into pitch black colour that had swallowed her up.

Xiao Hua who rushed into the room right at that moment, found Yue Wan stumbling on the floor.

"Wan!" He caught her in his embrace in the nick of time. He had seen those same eyes during the hotel incident.

Laying her head on his chest, Yue Wan wept uncontrollably as tears rolled down her eyes, her lips parted apart to whisper: "Bao! B..ao! My baby is sick, so he would never wander around! It's all my fault. I shouldn't have left him alone."

Xiao Hua's face darkened seeing her in this state, he snapped his fingers and order: "Find out where he is! Quick!!"

Rubbing her elbows, Xiao Hua comforted her: "Don't worry, I will find him. I promise! Don't blame yourself."

She lowered her long eyelashes and closed her eyes for a while, before opening them slowly, looking in Xiao Hua with haunted, ethereal eyes.
