28 First duel
Morning of day 28th from Ling Ai's one-month training.
At the river.
Ling Ai hid behind a tree observing the six Lizardman roaming around the forest and some were lurking in the river.
"What is that? A Lizardman? A red tier beasts! Good thing Master is not near their sight... I wonder why there are such strong deadly beasts around these areas when for nineteen years, we haven't seen any beast yet. But why do they kept on showing up now?"
Ling Ai slowly grabs her Xenohorn sword hanged on her back by the strap she's wearing, and when she tried to unsheathe it, she noticed something.
"Wait... Five blue tier beasts and one red tier? Is that their leader? If that's the case then I can face them all up at the same time."
Ling Ai got out from hiding behind the tree and caught the attention of the six Lizardman.

Hissing and squealing sounds coming together from the Lizardmen has been heard loudly as Ling Ai unconcealed her presence to them.
A rumbling sound was heard from the forest as well and when Ling Ai looked around, she saw the ten gorilla thieves she encountered before, killing the biggest one of them.
"A revenge huh? So you have joined together with these six lizardmen and even brought with you a red tier... what? A boss?" Ling Ai smirked and her face turned cold. But she was interrupted by the red tier Lizardman.
"Wait! We didn't come for a bloody fight or revenge..." The red tier Lizardman talked, it was like he was the leader of them all as he was wearing something different than the others, it had a red scarf around its long neck with tribal marks.
"So you can talk, eh?" Ling Ai replied but didn't bother being patient anymore, she began to be sensitive in not wasting any more time getting delayed for her journey. She continued to grab her sword and slowly unsheathes it.
"Wait! Wait! Believe me. We are here for a duel! I'm the leader of this pack of thieves, Lizardmen and the Gorillas. I'm here to fight you, not them. Look at them, do you think they can fight you that way?"
Ling Ai paused and looked around at each eye of the Gorillas. She shook realizing that they were even barely standing at her presence alone, they were very terrified.
"See?" The red tier Lizardman affirmed.
"I didn't notice. I apologize for that. I thought all of you were causing trouble again." Ling Ai bowed her head as she was sincerely apologizing.

The other blue tier beasts had widened their eyes as they never thought that the strong human is such a humble person.
"No! No. Please don't do that. We understand that our appearance is intimidating but that doesn't mean we are already a crude existence to interact with you people."
"I apologize because I believe you people are intelligent ones with right moral personalities, so judging you were wrong for me to do. I must have realized it right away but I chose to not listen. I'm sorry."
"Apology accepted. Thank you for seeing us as your equal. It's such an honor to have someone as strong as you to acknowledge us. We believe every Martial artist's golden rule is to never back down from any duel being offered as a sign of respect to each other and the Martial arts itself.
That's why I, Madezon Radon, leader of the pack of thieves challenges you to a fair fight! Duel it is."
Ling Ai offered a smile to Madezon Radon accepting his offer.
"And I, Ling Ai, the first disciple of Zhuanxu YeBai shall accept your duel wholeheartedly."
No one in the entire empire knows the true name of the Most Evil Emperor of white countries except the people in the stronghold.
"Zhuanxu YeBai? Sounds familiar. Interesting. That's why I can feel immense red chi on you already the moment I saw you. Now, shall we begin?"
"Yes, of course it is. He is the strongest, after all."
"What?! Strongest?" Madezon Radon was surprised hearing Ling Ai said that she was a disciple of the strongest.
After Ling Ai uttered those words, she left a blurry figure at the sight of all the beasts. And they didn't see where she had gone.
"She is not bluffing in any way!" Madezon Radon was sweating cold and his instinct has multiplied ten times! "Max cultivation! Chi release!" He grabbed his two daggers preparing to retaliate an attack to Ling Ai.
Ling Ai appeared at the side of Madezon Radon and she looks like she was about to swing her sword but it's all because of her speed that caused a fake attack. While Madezon Radon thought he will be struck a fatal slash, he immediately cast Beastly arts wind cyclone to parry incoming attacks and the trees around were razed. But...
"I made a mistake..." After Madezon Radon's Beastly arts wind cyclone skill stopped, a yellow figure was already in front of him. "Where-.. Out of nowhere?!" Madezon Radon's face was sweating cold and because of his beast instinct, he resorted to releasing a strong poison gas from the pores of his right arm nearest to the face of Ling Ai. But Ling Ai's concentration let her noticed every movement of the Lizardman.
"I didn't wanna do this." Ling Ai whispered to Madezon Radon.
_sft!
Ling Ai swiftly grabbed the Xenohorn sword at her back and slashed the right arm of the Lizardman that was about to excrete a dangerous poison gas. It was swiftly cut and the poison gas that was released was minimized. Then Ling Ai jumped backward and swung her sword to the ground to remove the blood of the Lizardman from the Xenohorn sword.
The Lizardman contracted the muscles on his right arm to close his severed arm, swiftly cut by Ling Ai's sword.
"You are really good. It's not surprising from a first disciple of the strongest. Is he a Martial artist?" Madezon Radon asked Ling Ai while catching up his breath.
"You are too. One wrong move might have been a fatal moment for me also. And yes he is. Why did you ask?" Ling Ai sheathed her sword as she was confident that the Lizardman won't have a chance to win any further now.
"One day, I discovered who the strongest Martial artist was and that person was unique. In fact, I've seen that person so closely. That's why I was surprised when you said you were the first disciple of the strongest Martial artists, because as far I know, that person doesn't take any disciples."
'The strongest Martial artist?! Is it..." Ling Ai was shocked and remembered about what her Master told her.
"Are you telling me the truth?" Ling Ai had a stern face to know exactly what's the truth that the beast in front of her knows.
"Y-yes, of course! Why would I lie?" Madezon Radon was intimidated by Ling Ai's fierce look and had willingness in answering Ling Ai as he felt the strong pressure aura being emitted from her.
"Good. Then what is this person's appearance? Where did you see this person? The strongest Martial artist." Ling Ai closely paid attention to what she's about to hear with a solemn face.
"As I've said earlier, that I saw this person up close but he had worn a black cloak and a mask. So I have a chance of zero possibility in taking a peek of what that person looks like."
"Then how come that you are so certain he was the strongest Martial artist?"
"I admit you are unimaginably strong for your age. But I guess you're too young to have known something about the strongest Martial artist that ever lived 200 years ago. Everyone that lived in his Era knew that at the back of his hands there's a symbol of a purple eye mark."
"Purple? Purple eye mark? At the back of both his hands?" Ling Ai interrupted and stated again what she heard as she was uncertain if she was hearing clearly.
"Yes, a purple eye mark at the back of his hands from our time means that he is the strongest, he is everywhere, and that he can see anyone no matter how far the distance is. Everyone knew him but no one saw his face or his entire appearance."
Zhuanxu YeBai was the first person that popped up inside Ling Ai's mind. 'Is he talking about the eyes of divinity that Master Zhuanxu YeBai gave me? Those descriptions exactly tell the effects of the eyes of divinity... Or is it just similar?.' Ling Ai wondered while looking at the Lizardman.
"If you had the chance to meet the strongest Martial artist, then how old are you now, Madezon Radon?" Ling Ai curiously asked the Lizardman in front of her.
"I'm already 115 years old, and I met him when I was 15 in the year 988, I think he was already around 130 years old."
"How come you know all these things, even his age?" Ling Ai's mind was boggling to all these new information she is hearing.
While the lizardmen and gorillas were just watching them both talking covering themselves behind the trees.
"I told you, he was the most famous person from that time, to be exact, for 200 years he was a renowned Martial artist. But one day, he suddenly vanished."
"Do you have any idea why did the strongest Martial artist that ever lived disappeared?" Ling Ai walked closer to Madezon Radon to listen carefully with her brows arched.
"No one had a single idea of why he did disappear. All of us can't think of any reason, even the beasts like us respect him. Because he was so nice and gentle, a guardian of the light indeed. But some beasts were just pure evil, so he's the one that vanquished them all and even promised us that he will also protect us beasts from harm if we don't hurt the people."
"That's all you know? Madezon Radon?" Ling Ai stared at him intently.
"Yes, I've told you everything. Because I thought your Master was the one I've met before, the strongest Martial artist ever lived."
Ling Ai just walked away silently after the questions she asked.
"Young lady? Don't you want to know my decision? Well, it's not like it's not obvious, I surrender and you won the duel! But can I ask what's your name? So that I can remember you."
Madison Radon the thieves pack leader shouted to Ling Ai that was walking away.
"Ling Ai, my name is Ling Ai. The strongest Martial artist in this Era."
All the lizardmen and gorilla beasts were stunned as they heard Ling Ai proclaiming she is the strongest Martial artist in this Era.
"She's got something in her. That I believe, is very terrifying..." Madezon Radon muttered watching the silhouette of Ling Ai as she goes down the hill going to the Luban sect.
"Why did he even disappeared suddenly?! He's the strongest Martial artist ever lived but did he even cared about the people that are used, tortured, afflicted, and abused by evil? If he cared for his people then why did he left without any trace at all? He's just a selfish person, after all!
So much for being nice and gentle, to sum it up. He was just also another selfish man living his own dreams! If that's the case, then one day. I'll take your place and be the strongest Martial artist that protects the weak innocent people and to destroy the evil beings in every corner of this world."
Ling Ai had a grim face after she was disappointed knowing that the strongest Martial artist ever lived suddenly disappeared from the world still full of evil.
