Tyrant

108 Fight of Titans

The land was scorched by Xyra's devastating spells but so far they had inflicted no significant damage on the High Elf that seem to be a step ahead moving in an out of the line of sight by using invisibility and illusions to move about the battle field undetected, both styles were completely different, one wanted to win by overwhelming destructive power while the other seek to confuse and create an opportunity to strike.

Seeing her strategy of casting single target spells was not working she switch to area of effects spells like explosive fireballs.

HeHeHe!! (Deranged Laugh)

Dodge this Fucker!!!

RAIN OF CHAOS!!

Massive fireballs fell on an area a mile wide and left craters of chaos fire that didn't stinguish but the person that got caught up was the personae. The illusionist had used one of his hidden cards to get out of the massive spell. Inverse Reality!! Allow him to switch positions with the replica, and he immediately counterattack with a big spell.

THOUGHT EATER!!

A monster 30 ft tall with eyes stitched shut, small nose and a huge mouth that was full of illusionary teeth appeared and threw a big bite towards Xyran that fade and appeared 500 ft away and when she looked down at her chest, the necklace she was wearing lost its luster. It was an artifact that protected her from mental attacks but now its protection was gone, that was a testament to the power of the spell, had she not been carrying that artifact on her, she could very well be walking around like a lobotomized person after getting hit by the illusionary monster.

The thought eater close its mouth and a massive ball of psychic energy in the shape of the necklace was swallow and the monster disappeared without a trace. There was no time to be surprised in a fight to the death and the illusionist Cast another distortion spell. Veil of The Unseen like the name indicated it distorted reality and also prevented area of effect damage affecting the caster.

This was the perfect counter to Xyra's strategy of destroying everything around to do damage to him. However, how would a Level 45 not have powerful items. Xyra pull a sphere out of her runic pouch which immediately flew towards the sky and discharged a wave of disorder energy particles that scattered the mana in the area, eliminating the Veil of the Unseen and all the enhancement spells cast by both of them.

The moment the mana particles started gathering once more she used the chance to attack with Ring Of frost that expanded from Xyra's position creating a frost field that increased the Potency and effectiveness of frost spells.

The High Elf was surprised Xyra had a Mana Equalizer in her possession but was not disgruntled at all, instead he prepared a spell Phantasmal Awe. It was another illusion in the shape of a one eyed monster that look like jellyfish if a jellyfish had a big eye on its body. The Illusion's eye opened up and cast a mental spell called Chromatic Chaos that blinded the person by directly affecting the optic nerve producing a disco light effect on the brain.

Xyra smile thinking that the damage she was about to inflict was a lot greater than what her opponent could do and took the hit of Phantasmal Awe while the Illusionist got hit by the Ring of Frost but Xyra was not the only one with artifacts. The bracelet in his hands shone as the effect activated allowing the illusionist to instant cast a spell and he chose Veil of the Unseen followed by the spell Personae Reflection that he left in the frost field to trick Xyra while he went around unaffected by the Area of Effect.

The replica was struggling in the frost when Xyra regain her wits back and while Casting Quad Ice Spears she screamed "This is for my apprentice...HEHEHEH".

The four spears gather frost from the ring and increased to the size of 100 ft trees and moved in the direction of the personae that opened his eyes wide selling the performance.

CONCUSSION!!!

Xyra four arms moved upwards as she grabbed her head do to the pain, she felt her brain was being shaken inside her skull.

Schreeechh!!!

A very high pitch scream came from Xyra and it was so strong that anybody in the Third tier that was within ranged could have their heads popped like a balloon. The Illusionist Ears started bleeding but he was not about to let the opportunity passed him by

BRAINBURST!!!

Xyra fell a couple of invisible hands made out of energy grabbed onto her brain and started squeezing training to crush it into tiny particles and do to the Concussion spell cast before, her mental defense was at a minimum and the further the squeeze the less she struggled.

PLEASE SHOW MERCY!! FOR ALL TIME'S SAKE PLEASE!!!

The High Elf felt the presence of another powerful being and looked their way, he was reluctant to let Xyra go but he was clear that if he killed her a war between the Abyss and the other side of the alliance could start and that would benefit noone. It was a lose lose situation for everyone.

The illusionist canceled the channeled spell and then took out a potion to recuperate from all the damage he took during the fight, specially from that last sound spell that damaged his inner ear.

"Now you showed up Thug'Dromog, this is the second favor I do for you. I got to think of something nice for you to repay me"

Thug'Dromog was sweating a little bit, it was not going to be cheap to settle accounts. "You have done a great service to our kind so I am sure that we can accommodate any request".

"Good!!"

Thug'dromog grabbed Xyra and left while his apprentice met with Rahz and the others that were grabbing their weapons about to fight for their lives once more.

"We are the good guys trust me, If I wanted to killed you, there is nothing any of you could do" said Sen'jin trying to not sound scary at all.

Rahz was not buying it and it was clear that Riddick's identity had been exposed and Igor was not there to help them decide if the people in front of them were trustworthy. So far there was only one person they could trust and that was the High Elf that was fighting that scary demon with four arms and they all hope he was the victor.

The sound of fighting had stopped for a few minutes before and the fact that Sen'jin didn't rush to grab Riddick at least gave them some respite. Jazz took out an Ale and started drinking, if he was going to go he was going to do it enjoying his favorite drink. Ten more minutes passed and the High Elf appeared in front of everyone taking a look at the team and them laughing out loud.

"You guys are very brave, If I were you I would have tried to run before resigning to my fate but don't worry, I am pretty sure Xyra won't be bothering you for a while".

Sen'jin and the mage were aware of who the person in front of them was talking about and they couldn't believe it. That was a level 45 Wizard of the myriad bloodline and she was highly respected in the Abyss and besides the elders there was not many people that would dare to offend her.

"Your teacher left already and he told me you would be taking this young ones to the temple of the Dreadnought. If something happens to them..." The High Elf projected some Illusions into the two people's minds that show them all they need it to know.

Sen'jin and his mage couldn't help but nod as they opened a portal to the real destination and the place Sen'jin called home. Rahz did a Barbarian salute to their savior and thanked him from the bottom of his heart before allowing Riddick and the others to move through the portal where a Pyramid like structure stood in the distance.

It was standing beside a lake and all around it there was white sand that reflected the moonlight on the surface. There were tents all around the structure with people roasting food and drinking merrily while young kids from ages 10 to 19 were hanging out or sparring against other kids while the parents drank alcohol and betted on the outcome. Riddick, Jazz and Rahz walked behind Sen'jin that was like a rock star, having many little kids approaching him for an autograph.

The team looked at each other making Sen'jin a little embarrassed while his mage displayed a proud look that said yeah he is badass.
