I sat at senpai's seat groaning for hours on end at my predicament. Shikaku-sama merely snickered at my expense saying that it's what I get for not listening to grownups. He should be the one standing in, not me. Still, I'd like to hope that I did a decent enough job. Woodworkers flooded in to help us rebuilt Konoha and with me and Tenzou rotating out using our Mokuton, the village might get rebuilt in no time at all. Rebuilding the hospital was the top priority as well as the ninja administration building. Missions are to be halted until the situation became more and more manageable. Sasuke had never left my side after he had found me being carried to the makeshift Hokage Office. It was near Senpai's tent, just in case. My best friend still hadn't met the rest of our team yet. I wondered when will he be ready. Or maybe, he was ready but he was waiting for me to be there. Karin was shadowing Sasuke all the time I was absent but when she saw me, she immediately 'attached' herself to me.

"Hey, let's go out. My head is getting dizzier by the minute," I murmured in exhaustion and Sasuke grunted as the three of us went out of the office and went sightseeing.

I sensed that our whole team was meeting up with someone. I decided to barge into the conversation. I grabbed Sasuke's hand and took off running towards them whilst Karin holding on for dear life on my other hand. We arrived in a cover of dust and all of them coughed up a lung due to it.

"Express delivery for Konoha's team Kakashi," I announced and an uninvited fist landed on my head with vengeance.

"WHAT DID I TELL YOU ABOUT RUNNING LIKE THIS?!" Sakura yelled and I was pinned to the ground in another explosion of dust and debris.

"What are you doing to my Hikari-kun, ya damn forehead?!" Karin yelled at her holding out a fist.

"What's that?! Wanna fight?!!" She retorted thrusting a fist directly at Karin.

"Sakura, easy there on the chakra punch," Sasuke said and she stopped immediately in shock before she burst towards the man and hugged him. "Hey, not too hard. When did you get all this strong?"

"Sasuke..." Naruto could only have said.

"Naruto, Sakura. I'm home. I'm sorry," he said.

"You are an idiot for all this time," she gritted as she cried. Sasuke hugged her tightly.

"You're back, teme?" Naruto asked in the brink of tears.

"Yeah, dobe," Sasuke smiled apologetically at Naruto.

"You guys made a nice picture right now," Sensei said as he held onto his headband covering up his tears from us to see. Karin sat me up and dusted all of my dirt away.

"Here, bite me," Karin said, blushed and my face immediately went red.

"Oho... voyeurism!" Kakashi-sensei exclaimed

"It's not, you hentai teacher!" I yelled and all of us laughed together. Our reunion was interrupted by the arrival of the intel division.

"Hokage-sama, the Raikage demanded an emergency meeting of the five Kage," the man said before he dismissed himself. In despair, I turned to look at my teammate. They didn't know it yet, that I was standing in for senpai.

"Hokage-sama?!" Sakura and Naruto yelled at me before they beat me up together.

"Naruto-ouji! Forehead! Don't hit Hikari-kun!!" Karin yelled before she too caught in the crossfire. When we're done, we're all had to take a bite on Karin. Sucking her chakra can heal us better than the normal Mystic Palm technique.

"Well, who are you going to bring?" Sensei asked and I smiled, determined.

"The whole team 7 of course, Sai!" I called and the man appeared kneeling. "Pack your bags, we're going out."

"Whoa, easy on the nagging there, Tenzou-san," I said as I scratched my ear that was humming due to his loud voice.

"Please come in, I'll have some tea set out for you all. Please remember that only two escorts are allowed in the meeting hall," the old man instructed as he gestured at the entrance.

"Very well, lead me there, please," I said before following the old man. "Kakashi-sensei, Sasuke. Follow me, please. The rest of you can rest but be vigilant just in case."

"Yes, Hokage-sama!" they collectively said.

"Place your hats on the table. You are here today because Raikage has called this meeting," Mifune-dono began. "My name is Mifune. I will be your moderator. This meeting will now begin."

"I'll go first. Listen up," Gaara began.

"The make-up of the five Kages sure has changed. You must be something special to be made Kazekage at your age," Tsuchikage cut in. "Your father must have taught you right, but apparently he forgot to instil you any manners."

I sighed at the Tsuchikage's behaviour, he was behaving like a brat himself. Let Gaara finished first you damn old trap! They all might be going to bicker so I had to wait it out before telling my side of the story.

"I'm a former host. Akatsuki captured me and nearly killed me extracting the beast," Gaara began. "That's why I believe Akatsuki is extremely dangerous. I requested aid from the other Kages many times, but they all ignored me except for the former Hokage and her junior that was here on her behalf. It was futile seeing that weapons had no function against Obito.

"Mizukage escort?! The eye-patched uncle!" I called and the man looked at me. "Uchiha Madara moves through dimension. Keep an eye will you? No pun intended."

The man paid no heed to my snide comments but he did as request nonetheless. Then I saw Raikage's team made contact with two intruders. "I got a feeling that our enemy might show up here and I hope that I have everybody's agreement that we listened to what he has to say," I said. Sasuke was fast and he had already engulfed Naruto in his Susanoo. It was hard for Sasuke and I had forgotten about Itachi's eyes. Karin had chosen to back Sasuke up along with Sakura, Kakashi-sensei, Sai, Tenzou and the Kazekage entourage. It's safe to say that my best friend isn't going anywhere.

"Ho, you still got something up your sleeves, Hikari-kun. Wondered how you got that eye?" the man finally appeared. "Hello everyone, my name is Uchiha Madara. I'm here to explain something to you, I just want to make that clear. I want to tell you about my goal; Tsuki no Me."

Raikage suddenly appeared and rushed towards the man. What do you expect, he went through, of course? Raikage and his team must have stopped the remnants of Sasuke's new team.

"I have no interest in hearing the twisted plans of Akatsuki! I cannot understand you, people!" Raikage said as he rose from the debris. I could see that his lightning armour was protecting his really good.

With that Obito disappeared into another dimension. I gritted my teeth, the war was not this world deserves.

"The main objective is to protect the last remaining Bijuu at all cost. I would suggest to use them but Naruto didn't have full control of its chakra. We could not afford to underestimate these guys."

"Naruto, Akatsuki has seven Bijuu at their disposal and you have no control over yours. You will only be a burden," I reasoned. "Unless you learn to control it."

That was a perfect excuse to keep him from fighting in the war. I just had to convey this to the shinobi alliance. War was upon us.
