59 Thats it?
Song Hui Yao strode in and studied the papers while standing behind her. "What are you writing?"
Without stopping her hand, Zhu Xiao Wan said, "Notes."
"What?"
Drew a slur for the div. eighteenth notes, she slightly dipped the nip of the pen into the ink and returned to drawing. "Music notes, those people from the Xitian Continent must have these to play their instruments, right?"
Song Hui Yao stared at her, "Are you going to tell me: don't ask you how you know?"
Zhu Xiao Wan paused and said, "No, but it would be best for you to not ask anything at all."
"...Can I just ask what these 'notes' mean?" he questioned.
She ceased her swift hand from moving and placed the pen down. Picking up a sheet, Zhu Xiao Wan turned around to show it to him. "These notes are what I am going to play on the violin, I can't explain to you what 'note' and these are without taking days."
He took the sheet and was solemnly studying the stuff written on it. Maybe he was slightly getting it but still couldn't comprehend it.
"You may be able to figure it out when I play it-"
"When are you going to use the violin?" he abruptly interrupted.
She was about to tell him when he cut in. "...This afternoon."
"Where?"
"At the grass plain."
He raised his brows, "There again?"
Zhu Xiao Wan was feeling a little annoyed but her face didn't falter. "If not there, then where?"
"The chrysanthemum garden near the lotus fountain." Song Hui Yao smiled. "Let's call those two and Zhuang Yang to come and listen, too."
Averted her eyes from him, she responded, "Okay."

That afternoon, she finished all the sheets she needed for the moment.
After calling the Ning siblings and Zhuang Yang to come, Song Hui Yao also arrived. He explained to the others what Zhu Xiao Wan was about to do and not to disturb her.
The glass violin materialized and went to Zhu Xiao Wan's hand. The short process caught the others except for Song Hui Yao in surprise.
Ning Rou Li widened her eyes and whispered to her brother, "What do you think that is?"
"I don't know," he simply answered.
As for Zhuang Yang, he looked strange though appeared more uncertain and sceptical about his thought. 'Is this the instrument Father heard about?'
Zhu Xiao Wan prepared a stand for her music and placed the sheets onto the stand. For the first one, she should start with [Sleeping Beauty Waltz] by Tchaikovsky. Though it was a bit disappointed that there was no piano to accompany her.
She rested the violin onto the nape of her neck and laid the bow onto the string. Gliding it upward, a beautiful sound was created. Soon, the melody became delicate and somewhat serene. Ning Rou Li started to yawn and her eyelids became heavy. Fighting the urge to fall asleep since it was rude of her to do so, Ning Rou Li was quite entertaining and amusing to look at with her head nodding.
Ning Hai Heng was also feeling sleepy and was in the same situation as his sister. Only Song Hui Yao and Zhuang Yang were able to resist the urge to sleep. They were able to because they were more than one rank(spirit) higher in their cultivation.
A beat later, Zhu Xiao Wan was still gliding her bow across the strings but the Ning siblings were already sleeping soundly. By the time she was finished, they weren't the only one sleeping, the servants that came across were also victims to her melody.
Zhuang Yang stared at them and turned to Zhu Xiao Wan with his brows faintly creased. "They had all enter their slumber."
Zhu Xiao Wan removed the glass violin from her neck and examined it. "So this makes people enter their slumber?" That was it?
Song Hui Yao gazed at the violin and said, "Why don't you test it again?"
She lifted her head to look at him. Thinking about what piece to play next, Zhu Xiao Wan rested the bow on the stand and took out some music sheets. She placed them onto the stand before picking up her bow and began to play. This time, it was the solo violin part of [Winter] by Vivaldi.
