5 Student Council President?
"W..Wh..Wh-who is that?!" shrieked one student overcome by Art's features. "No matter what his ranking was, we would have heard of someone who looked like that!" He stuttered out.
"He... he is even hotter than Soran-sama!" shouted another student, earning him a slap.
By now however, the damage was done, and nearly the whole courtyard had turned to take in Art's elegant beauty as he stood there in white robes. On the way down the mountain, he had tied some of his lustrous black hair back in a loose bun to keep it away from his eyes, while letting the rest gently spill down his back, and a few strands hang down to frame his captivating face. Although unintentional, Art looked like an immortal fairy that had casually descended from heaven to visit the mortal plane, peerlessly beautiful like flawless white jade. More gasps sounded throughout the courtyard.
Art, however, noticed none of this. The entirety of his heart and being was focused on the proud, strong red-clad back in front of him, the dazzling blond hair and golden skin, the muscular legs....
"What is happening to me?" Art thought in a daze, unable to snap his gaze away from the stunning profile in front of him. "Why is my heart constricting like this?" Art wondered, the only sound he heard the fast beating of his heart. The man slowly turned towards him, wondering what had caused such strong reactions amongst the students. All of Art's breath immediately left his body, as Art stared stunned at the masculinely handsome face that was slowly being revealed to him. Art inherently preferred males to females. He had, for as long as he could remember, been homosexual. Moreover, his cultivation of the ice and water elements had led to him possessing abundant yin energy, so much in fact that his body craved and required warm yang energy to survive, energy normally possessed by men. And so Art was not surprised to be attracted to a man. Even so however, he had never felt this heart-stopping sensation, this gripping attraction that overwhelmed all his other senses as he could only stare dazedly at the man before him. Soran continued to turn, his eyes snapping towards Art. Shocked and a little embarrassed, Art immediately circulated some cold ice energy through his body to regain his mental clarity before the man could see him staring at him like this. His brilliant blue eyes recovering their calm and gentle warmth, Art sent a small yet stunning smile towards the man who had now completely turned to face him.
Soren's reaction was perhaps even stronger than that of Art as he turned to take in the flawlessly beautiful jade countenance in front of him. Refined features like fine white porcelain, sapphire blue eyes that could suck the soul out of a human with simple glance, moist pink lips that curled in a gentle smile even as they seemed to invite one to kiss and grasp and ravish them in their own lips... The world seemed to stop for Soran. Nothing moved for a moment. He could only stare fixedly at the white clad young man before him, his heart in turmoil as his mind was taken over by a desire to make the man before him his forever. Soren couldn't turn his gaze away from the peerlessly beautiful face, the slender body and narrow waist... He had never experienced such a sensation before, and could not regain his clarity.
Kane, however, could not see Art clearly, only the edges of his profile were visible around Soran who was blocking his view. And so he did not understand why Soran stood stunned, facing away from him, and thought only the Soran intended to slight him, turning his back to him as if to say you are not even worth my attention. At this point, rage had completely consumed him, and focusing mana into his hand, he shot out like an arrow leaving its bow towards Soran, intent on punishing him for this offense as he curled his hand into a fist that slowly became enveloped in a murky, dark light.
"Dark miasma strike!" Kane shouted as he punched towards Soran's back.
Art's eyes widened in horror a the sight of Kane ruthlessly appearing behind Soran with his fist cloaked in darkness. In spite of his intention to hide his power, Art's control slipped at that moment and a shocking mana presence burst forth from his body, covering the courtyard where he stood in frost. He quickly activated 'blink,' an advanced space magic that allowed one to teleport anywhere within a short range which increased along with one's proficiency in the technique. Art immediately disappeared from the spot where he stood, reappearing behind Soran and immediately conjuring up a massive wall of spinning water in front of him. Kane's strike powerlessly sunk into the wall of water, all force behind his punch lost in the spin force of the water. A cold, ruthless light flashed through Art's eyes as he thought of how Kane tried to hurt the man behind him. Flicking his hand forward, the wall of water into a pillar like structure that heavily slammed against the shocked Kane's body.
"Ahhhhh!" A miserable screech rang out through the air, accompanied by a sickening crack as Kane shot backwards from the force of the water pillar, at least two of his ribs broken. Miserably landing on the jade courtyard, Kane's body slid backwards a couple meters, a spurt of blood shooting out of his mouth. Weakly lifting up his head, Kane glared hatefully at Art, and opened his mouth to curse at him.
"You li..." Kane's words trailed off almost as soon as they started, a deep fear surfacing in his eyes as he took in the cold killing intent glinting in Art's eyes.
Art took a step forward, intending to end the matter once and for all seeing how vicious Kane's character was. He did not want to leave an enemy freely roaming about near him. At this moment however, a widened old voice rang out above the din of the courtyard. Even though it seemed as if no effort was made to shout, the voice clearly pierced through the noise to be clearly heard by everyone in the crowd.
"Ah, I see you've already yourself known, student council president." Said headmaster Vernon with an almost invisible smirk.
