484 Am I dying?
YuYan felt like she was controlled but before she can do anything after her body seems about to do something, her surroundings suddenly disappeared.
The bright place, the mansion and the tree in front of her were swallowed by darkness; making her feel suffocated.
YuYan's breathing started to feel heavy. She was slowly catching her breath until she can hardly breathe. She had the feeling that she is about to die.
"Why is this happening? Am I dying?" YuYan foolishly uttered while starting to feel stupid because of what she has been experiencing.
Accompanied by the feeling that she was floating in the darkness, YuYan is starting to have a headache and slowly feeling dizzy.
She held her head with both of her hands and can't help thinking that all the pain that she was experiencing is caused of being played by her own memories.
YuYan is starting to regret wanting to recover all her memories by force, especially the fact that she called her memories stupid and threatening to forget them for real.
Therefore, YuYan contemplated that after she was sucked into the huge orb of her combined childhood memories, it made her either see and experience it all over again.
What's worse is that as the memories reorganize the process of how the images are being shown is like pages and every turn is very painful and overwhelming.
Then add to the fact that even though she wanted to beg for it to stop that seems to be impossible, all she knows is that her brain seems about to explode.
Unfortunately, all she can do is to bear the pain and accept the fragments of memories organizing itself like a large jigsaw puzzle showing a bigger and complete picture.
YuYan tried to comfort herself as she also knows that the pain will not be forever and once the puzzle is complete, all her memories will be recovered.
However, every second felt like forever. The pain in her head felt like all the veins in her brain is pumping fast with a full blast of blood.
Tears began to form on YuYan's eyes. She wanted to suppress it, but it started to fall on her cheeks and felt helpless.
She closes her eyes while pulling her hand away from her head to embrace herself.
YuYan started sobbing, but there was a strong arm that suddenly came from behind pulling her into a warm embrace; comforting her.
She was frozen in shocked. Her heart started beating fast but before she can react, YuYan felt that those arms are very familiar to her.
It was something that she has been longing for so long. YuYan immediately opened her eyes but before she can turn her head to look who it was, her eyes were gently covered by a big warm hands.
"Don't worry.. You're not alone.. I'll always be here for you.. Just take a deep breath, and it'll be fine." It was a young man's familiar voice that sounded gentle and lovingly whispering on her ears.
His voice made YuYan feel secured, but her tears began to fall again from her eyes to her cheeks as she sobbingly uttered. "Big brother Yun.. Where have you been? Why are you here?"
"Shhh.. Stop crying and do what I say.." He whispered softly and continued after YuYan nodded in response. "Take a deep breath, and the pain will go away." Then he uncovered her eyes.
YuYan followed what he said and unexpectedly all the pain in her head instantly disappeared.
She opened her eyes and immediately turned her head to look behind her, but there was no one aside from darkness.
"Big brother Yun?" YuYan uttered with an anguish voice while looking around, trying to find her big brother.
