3 Chapter 3: A Week Later.
"Goodbye," said Alina's father as he hoisted his satchel onto his shoulder, "I shall be back in 3 days time."
"Goodbye Father," said Simon.
Alina watched her father leave on his steed from the window of her room. The sound of hooves pounding on the soft ground went on till her father was out of sight. She turned her face away from the window and stared at the door. She flicked her hand and the door opened for her to see Simon standing there with his hand prepared to knock.
"I see you are learning well," Simon said as he stepped into her room, "Father told me to continue you classes till he comes back."
"Why do you have to teach me. Why can't Grandmother teach me?" Alina questioned. Alina's grandmother lived in the west wing in the castle. She rarely left there except for mealtimes.
"Grandmother is to old to teach you. She doesn't even remember half of what she learned," Simon replied. He paced around Alina's room, "come on lets go to the training room."
