Baby Contract: Forced Deal with a Dragon

59 Mo Rin’s Mistake

Mo Rin had initially intended to only observe from outside of the Thunder Forest as Lu Meili told her not to get involved. Her senior martial sister even reminded her to not go close to the forest to avoid anything unnecessary or nasty.

She was upset when she heard Lu Meili's instructions. Offended that she was assigned as the manager of the stores located in the Shou Planet but could not join when something entertaining was finally happening.

Of course, older people had wisdom and all words coming from them should not be ignored. Since Lu Meili told her not to, Mo Rin was now reaping the result of her not listening.

What if it was her master's order and Lu Meili messed up by exposing herself on the news and ended up being chased by the soldiers.

She could only guess because Lu Meili did not tell her the real reason why she was in the Shou Planet in the first place.

'If something wrong happened, it is still partially Senior Sister's fault..' Mo Rin stated to herself, using that as an excuse for her mischievous actions.? 'Anyway, nothing will happen,' that was on her mind earlier. And where did that brought her? Disaster.

Mo Rin also regretted the fact that she had underestimated her magic once again, despite the multiple reminders from her master and senior martial sisters.

In the end, the reminders were all forgotten and she still ended up using it without control, which led to her current problem.

Mo Rin was outside the protection seal at that time when she had seen a small pink rabbit on the other side of the Yellow Area.

She completely did not consider the fact that any beast that could survive in the Thunder Forest, was not ordinary because of the harsh conditions inside it.

Mo Rin only paid attention to the rabbit being alone and that he looked so vulnerable and was currently on the other side of the seal.Find authorized novels in Webnovel, faster updates, better experience,Please click www.webnovel.com for visiting.

As it looked so adorable she waved her hand from outside so she could look closer.

However, the rabbit was ignoring her thus exerting more effort on her part, buy doing a little magic. It was only a little but then it suddenly happened. She had accidentally used a stronger summoning spell.

It also did not take long before she had realized her mistake, when not only the rabbit but as well as the other beasts near, started running towards her.

With the seal still up, the beasts decided to slam their bodies on it to destroy the seal. Mo Rin had immediately casted reversal spells and when beasts, started running away from her she thought the issue was already fixed.

She was wrong because the beasts just went away to look for the nearest exit which was the broken seal from the Blue Area entrance.

There had been some mistakes from her before, but probably this was a massive one that left her with no choice but to ask for help. The moment when she had admitted that Mo Rin tried to contact Lu Meili.

She knew that her senior sister won't be harmed with the beasts running havoc. Her main goal was to ask for help to repair the broken seal which Lu Meili herself caused. Aside from that, while they were fixing the problem, Lu Meili could use the commotion as a diversion.

She tried to contact Lu Meili multiple times but still could not hear anything from her. As a backup plan, she went to the royal palace and personally made a note addressing it to the king using a stealth talisman.

Mo Rin's face heated up when she remembered how the golden dragon king looked like, fully naked, resting on his massive bed earlier when she had left the message. 'Stop it. No use having a crush on handsome men. They are either, fvck boy, taken or gay.' Mo Rin thought to herself.

The king protecting his people was another option, plan D to be exact.

Plan A was Lu Meili, B was, her going inside the Thunderforest to keep the beasts inside, and that way she would also get time to fix her spell. Plan C was mobilizing the guards of Shenxi Auction House.

Her first plan was not working since Lu Meili was not answering.

Then Mo Rin tried the second plan which was another mistake on her part for underestimating the effects of her spell.

Since the beasts were destroying everything in their path, Mo Rin stepped inside the Thunderforest and stood on an area where she could easily be seen.

However, the beasts' stampede was still not stopped. It seemed that they badly wanted to get out of the forest regardless of the costs.

If she was more in control of her magic, it would have been so easy to command the beasts and have them do what she wanted.

'I need to train properly... No more cheating or short cuts ...' She vowed to herself. Her training could wait though. Mo Rin needed time to make another summoning and this time she needed to make sure that it would be a? proper one.

She needed to make sure that the beasts would not escape the forest, making it easy for her to reverse the magic.

With that in mind, Mo Rin released a deep breath and reached out to the seal with both shaky hands. She was intending to quicken the repair of it by sharing her magic. Mo Rin was doing this despite knowing that seals had never been her specialty.

Her first try was not as successful, as the seal's repair did not improve. The same was the case with her second try and the third as well.

On the fourth attempt, Mo Rin released more magic from her palm. Of course, if incorrect magic was used against another, repel was inevitable just like the sudden fluctuation of magic that burned her hands. Her palms were now bleeding but Mo Rin forced herself to continue with clenched teeth.

However, not only did it hurt her badly, but the repel caused the seal to move.

It was the moment Long Kael was waiting for. The moment the seal showed any indication of strange movement, he immediately disappeared from his original position and reappeared inside the Thunderforest, so very close to Mo Rin's hiding place.
