Baby Contract: Forced Deal with a Dragon

84 No Doctor

Wu Jiao's eye turned all white as she processed the information Li Mae was sending her at the moment. Everyone in the room braced themselves for what would happen next.

It was always a sight to behold whenever someone saw magic performed live in front of them.

However, nothing much really happened as, after a while, Wu Jiao's eyes returned back to normal. She then sat on the chair near Li Mae, while scratching her forehead.

After releasing a heavy sigh, "That's all? What can we do with that information?" Wu Jiao asked exasperated.

*KNOCK*

*KNOCK*

Li Mae was not able to answer when someone knocked on the door of the room. It was continuous and in a hurry.

"Speak!" One of the crew said without opening the door.? The knock was not from a crew member since they had different signals.

"I want to speak to the captain!" The person on the other door said.

Wu Jiao hummed before she stood up. She stomped her foot and sparks of magic surrounded her. Just like before, the magic slowly changed her physical appearance as she walked towards the door.

Upon opening the door, Wu Jiao came face to face with? Prince Blue who was holding his nose that was covered in blood.

"Oh! Prince Blue! What happened to you?" Wu Jiao tried to act worried as best as she could but the Prince looked weird with his blue skin color and red blood running down from his hand. He also had bruises on his face. Wu Jiao was trying to cover her laugh.

Prince Blue growled. Then he angrily said, "It is none of your business! I want to speak with the captain so she could command the ship's doctor to heal me before this injury permanently deforms my face."

With a frown, Wu Jiao calmly said, "I am sorry Prince Blue. The main doctor is not around. How about the nurses?" She offered politely. Speaking of the vice-captain, Li Mae was standing not far from them observing the situation.

"No! Not the nurses! I want to speak to the captain. I want to leave the cruise as soon as possible! If the captain is not available then have the vice-captain do something. How dare you not tell us beforehand that there was no doctor available before boarding?" He said accusingly, glaring at Wu Jiao and the crew inside the room.

After hearing that, Wu Jiao's eyes brightened. The doctor was only for formality, curing such injuries that only heavens know from where Prince Blue got, was cureable.

Regardless, Wu Jiao was not going to voice that out and make Prince Blue change his mind. 'But if you want to leave, that could be arranged.' She was a bit concerned about what to tell all the customers regarding the detour. Since it was Prince Blue's demand then they just needed to blame the man.

"We apologize Prince Blue. The captain is with the doctor but-"

"Manager, the connector is now attached. Are we going to wait for the representative or we are going to go there?" One of the crew suddenly said from the outside that cut off to what Wu Jiao was about to say.

"Connector? Perfect! I will go with you.? Hurry!" Prince Blue said commandingly towards Wu Jiao who was currently disguised as a male. He did not even wait for her as he ran to the exit hatch of the ship, where the dock station connector was attached.

When they arrived at the door exit, it was still closed. A label in front of it gave the indication that the oxygen was being filled.

"Why is it too far?" Prince Blue asked appalled, while he was still holding his nose making his voice muffled. He was talking to his servant that no one knew where he came from.

"Master, we are in Shou Planet, they are not able to cater a humongous ship like this.." The servant answered respectfully.

The connector looked like a very long white tunnel from the inside of the docking station. It was set to be solidly connected with transmitters and security cameras.

In case the one controlling it ever felt that the visitors were dangerous, then they could either detached it or just make it explode.

It was logical to meet in between the connector but that was not always followed.

Wu Jiao watched Prince Blue's face turned pale. He was having second thoughts of leaving the ship for a doctor and she could not let that happen.

She grabbed a helmet from one of the racks of the entrance, "Prince Blue, here." She said handing it over to him.? "Just in case something happened outside the connector that causes it to be destroyed, you can wear this helmet to get oxygen. Everything will be alright." Wu Jiao said, assuring in a calm voice.

Prince Blue accepted the helmet. His face considerably relaxed. He then proceeded to wear it. Because of that, Prince Blue was not able to hide his nose anymore with his hand.

Wu Jiao's eyes bulged when she saw the damage to his face. The Prince's nose was bloody and really broken. It seemed that it was pushed way back into his face, leaving the blood to come out from both holes like a pig.

She almost laughed out loud but managed to control herself within time. If Prince Blue was injured but hesitant to tell who did it, that meant he was afraid of that person.

This actually brought more concern to Wu Jiao. She was not sure anymore if it was a wise decision to leave the ship with high profile people inside it, despite the bodyguards being with them.

'But what worse could happen?' She asked herself. It was nearly impossible for a huge spacecraft to be attacked by pirates and hijacked so easily.

Since the chances were close to impossible, Wu Jiao placed that worry in the back of her head because the connector was now completely filled with oxygen and the door towards it was now opening.

Wu Jiao's thoughts had a basis and it was from her logical experience, so she stepped into the connector, forgetting all her worries.
