8 Coincidence

The wagon is covered by a hood of thick cloth, no one outside can see through its covered. Its looks are not eye catchy so the people did not bother looking at it as it moves across the streets. The wagon is wider than a carriage which can load up to 50 people inside if they insist; The width of it is enough for 6 people to sit side by side tightly, and it had the length for 7 rows of people sitting inside the hood. Currently, the wagon is carrying at least 30 people under the hood and 3 outside acting as the coachmen. Although the wagon is not fully packed it is still very heavy but it does not move slowly because it is pulled by 6 trained horses. Its horses are not simple, they have a thick mane and stronger legs; they are taller than normal and bigger than normal. The carriage horses are the reason why they do not move slowly but actually faster than other carriages, which is the trick of how it did not gain much attention despite its size, like an illusion to others.

The ones in the wagon are the pirates. If observed it seems that they have no intention of going to the harbor which is where the Navy is preparing the ambush. They are headed in a completely different direction since they have already predicted that the Navy will wait for them in the harbor.

This is the reason why the Navy can't find their ship because it is currently docked far from it.

Later the carriage entered an area where there little to no people at all. It is an abandoned area, evidently because of the scorch marks in all of the buildings there. It became a ghost area after a large fire burning multiple residences a long time ago.

Inside, the abducted girl slowly gained consciousness. As her eyes opened what greeted is the group of pirates in front of her sitting while watching her. Her initial response is shock which later turned into fear but she thought trembling in fear won't help her.

The girl tried to move but she found herself tied. Her head is the only part of her free of restraints but she did not make her movements noticeable and observed the pirates.

Lusha the Captain of the Red Feather pirates is the first to notice her. Her minuscule movements were not able to escape his eyes. Their eyes met and Lusha's face wore a smirk. He did not move but his lips moved like he was saying something which only the girl can see and understand.

The girl's pupils contracted as she understood his message. Helplessness overcame her as she rested her head down.

The carriage continued to move without stopping as it moves across the streets of the ghost area. The coaches who rein the horses saw someone up ahead.

It was a young man.

One of the coaches decided to tell their captain about the man ahead of them because he found him quite familiar. But before he said anything he took a good look at the man.

He was standing in the middle of the road as if pondering something and troubled. He is looking at the directions until he noticed them which made him delighted.

"Captain Lusha, there is a boy blocking the road about a 100 m ahead."

Their leader took a good look at the body the coach pointed and said, "I wanna see some blood. Run into him."

This is Lusha, the man who thirsts for bloodshed. He smiled as he anticipates what would happen.

The wagon sped up as the horses were whipped. They clearly intended to disregard the boy in front of them and run into him. But as the wagon is about to run into the boy, the boy noticed its acceleration and the eyes of the coachmen looking for blood. In the next instant, something unexpected happened.

The wagon was directed into a different direction and stopped. All the pirates were caught off-guard and tumbled inside the wagon due to the sudden turn and halt. The witnesses of what just happened were even more stunned and disbelief is written within their eyes.

They saw the move his arm and spread his legs to pull a punch. His punch hit one of the horses which caused it to move in another direction but the force is much more powerful that it seemed like the whole pack was pushed out of the way.

Looking at their horses which is down to the ground chills crept unto the coaches' spines. The pirates did not leave the wagon but looked at the man who caused it from the hood.

The young man looked at the coachmen and finally thought of something. He formed a fist with his hand and cupped it with another, it is the gesture that tells he finally remembered something.

"I remember now. No doubt about it, aren't you lot members of the Red Feather Pirates? ... Oh, I can see Captain Lusha standing on the roof! So, I am right."

The young man looked at the pirates who came out of the wagon one by one. He also looked at the man wearing Cappello with a red feather on top carrying someone in his brace while looking down from a building's roof.

The most incredible thing he said is that he saw Lusha outside the wagon which is true. It is evident that Lusha is not a simple pirate, he took his captive jumped out of the wagon as soon as he felt something was amiss. Even the pirates did not feel it but the young man knew it, which is the cause of astonishment in the eyes of Lusha.

The young man continued what he was saying and said, "What a coincidence, I was looking for you lot."

This time his voice is serious which is also evident on his face.

Lusha and the pirates heard his remarks which caused them to jolt and ready their guns. Meanwhile, the girl held by Lusha heard it and felt a little hope in her heart, so.

"PLEASE! Help me!"
