Chapter 137 - Caesarean Section For Safety
Ethan was sitting bowed waiting for Luna in front of the emergency room with mixed feelings. The image of Luna who was in pain seemed to continue to wriggle in his mind. He regretted his decision to keep going even though his wife seemed to have gestured that she was in danger. the man unconsciously shed tears. His burly body seemed meaningless because his heart was fragile and constantly haunted by guilt.
Ira glanced at Ethan who was quietly looking down and crying. she even cried because she felt guilty and careless leaving Luna alone at home.
'I should have waited for Mrs. Luna at home and asked Mr. Tony to go to the shop. But instead, I went. What if Mrs. Luna and the baby....' Ira couldn't imagine Luna's fate. The image of the blood on her head and the blood flowing from the bottom of her core seemed to keep on haunting her. She kept remembering how her employer was crying in pain.
"Were you not at home when it happened?" asked Ethan without looking up at Ira.
"Sorry, sir. Earlier, Mrs. Luna asked me to buy a chocolate cake. I had intended to buy it myself, but she asked me to be escorted by Mr. Tony so that it would be faster. and when I came home, the door of the house was not closed and Mrs. Luna was lying on the ground floor."historical
Ira explained in her sobs.
"So she's at home alone?" asked Ethan again.
"Yes, sir," replied Ira. "I've tried to refuse to go but Mrs. Luna is begging me to go buy a cake for her. You can punish me for all this incident. I was careless and couldn't keep your trust."
Ethan sighed, then wiped his tears with his thumb. "It's not your fault, Ira. You'd better call Shandra now," he cried.
"Yes, sir."
Ira immediately contacted Shandra, while Ethan was still silent with his eyes fixed on the ER room which was still tightly closed.
"I've always made you suffer. I took your virginity, took your career, made you sad because of my selfish attitude." Ethan continued to curse all the mistakes he had done to Luna. The memory of his wife hugging and crying this morning did not want to be left as if it left a deep wound for him. Regret is always behind.
"I am the stupidest man to ignore a wife who struggles to conceive my child." Again Ethan was crying and ruffling his hair in frustration. the thought of when he forced Luna to do a cesarean birth also made him regret it. The man realized his mistake was too selfish and restrained Luna under the pretext of proving her love.
"Mrs. Shandra will be here soon," said Ira.
"Good, you can go home now. there must be no one in the house," Ethan exclaimed without turning his head.
"Yes sir."
Ira immediately left Ethan alone. She just remembered that she had to go home because the door wasn't locked, and the gate was still wide open because she and Tony rushed Luna to the hospital.
____
The beautiful doctor who used to check Luna's womb came out of the emergency room with a sad expression on her face. She walked over to Ethan who was sitting down.
"Mr. Ethan."
Ethan immediately turned and stood up to face the doctor. "Doctor, how is my wife?" he asked worriedly.
"Your wife must undergo a cesarean section immediately. Her condition is very critical because she has lost too much blood. The baby must be saved immediately," explained the doctor.
"Is that the only way, Doc?" asked Ethan anxiously.
"Yes, sir. The sooner the better for the safety of mother and child," replied the Doctor.
Ethan turned his face away and rubbed his face for a moment in frustration with this situation. He turned back to the doctor who was waiting for his decision and said, "Just do it, If that's what's best for them. Please save them."
"We'll try, sir," the Doctor replied, then led Ethan into her room. "Come with me for a moment. You have to sign a consent form for this caesarian section."
"Yes." Ethan followed the rushing doctor.
_____
Viona's unconscious body was placed on a gurney and taken to the emergency room for help. She was taken to the same hospital as Luna. At that time Luna had entered the operating room.
Ethan who was still sitting in front of the emergency room was surprised when he saw Viona who was about to enter the room. He stood up and approached to make sure it was Viona or not.
'Viona had an accident, then where is Edward? Did he not take her or did he not know that his wife had been harmed?' he thought when he found out that that person was Viona.
From a distance, Ethan saw Shandra rushing towards him followed by Arsha. He immediately greeted his sister-in-law.
"Ethan, how is Luna? Are she and her pregnancy okay? why did she fall? Aren't you home to look after her?"
Shandra immediately bombarded Ethan with questions that were generally asked when he was panicking. As an older sister who loves her sister, Shandra is very panicked and worried.
"Calm yourself, let Ethan answer slowly," said Arsha while glancing at Ethan who looked worried too.
"She is undergoing a cesarean section, Sis. The situation is quite worrying, so the baby must be saved right away," said Ethan sadly.
"Caesarian section now, isn't it time yet? Oh my God. I hope they will survive." Shandra sat in a chair and looked down at the thought of Luna. She cried because she was worried about the fate of her future nephew and sister who now fought against death on the medical table.
Ethan just didn't budge and sat back in his chair. Meanwhile, Arsha sat down beside Shandra, who was looking down while crying.
"Just pray that they are safe and healthy," said Arsha while rubbing Shandra's shoulder.
Sandra straightened her seat again and wiped her tears roughly. "I have to tell mom now," she said.
"Don't," said Arsha. "Let me go there to pick her up without having to give news. Don't let mom drop because she's worried about Luna's condition. I'd better pick it up right away," he continued, glancing at Ethan.
"Yeah, that's better. I'll also ask my assistant to pick up my mother in Singapore," said Ethan.
"Up to you. I just want my sister and my twins' nephew to be safe" said Shandra, then glanced at Ethan, who for several weeks ignored Luna and made her sad.
"This kind of incident shouldn't have happened. You shouldn't have been selfish and put away your excessive jealousy. it's clear my sister loves you but you still don't believe her and instead ignore her by continuing to work leaving her alone. My sister is lonely when it comes to having support. If anything bad happened to her, I will never forgive you!"
in her sobs, Shandra blames Ethan for everything that happened to Luna. Because she was the witness when her sister poured out her heart and she always tried to comfort and convince her to keep going.
"I was wrong, Sis. I was the cause of all the suffering she was going through. I'm a bad man," said Ethan with tears in his eyes. He was still thinking about the attitude and mistakes he had made to Luna. The man wasn't even ashamed to cry in front of his brother-in-law, even though some hospital visitors and care glanced at him.
"Please stop... Don't argue about this all. you should pray to pray for the safety of Luna and the baby. They need prayers, not debates like this!" Arsha tried to mediate and calm the emotions of his wife and brother-in-law.
Ethan and Shandra again budge after Arsha tries to break up their argument. The three of them were pensive waiting for confirmation on the condition of Luna and the twins. there is a sense of enthusiasm because they will see two babies who have been imagining cuteness, there is also a sense of anxiety because the baby must be born at the wrong time and condition.
' I promise and swear, I will continue to make you happy in any way. I will return to the way I used to be, as you always wanted. You have to endure and we will live happily with our children. I will prepare a beautiful name for them,' Ethan thought while imagining Luna who always wanted him to be sweet again.
