Chapter 20 - Culinary
Ethan and Luna are ready for breakfast outside. They looked harmonious walking together out of the room with a beaming face. Of course! between them were the spices of love that made the two lovebirds seem even closer.
Luna wore a white overalls dress combined with a maroon blazer. Luna looks beautiful with her simple style, while Ethan looks athletic wearing black jeans combined with a tight white t-shirt wearing sunglasses. .you guys just imagine how well the two of them.
"Where are you going?" asked Dina when she saw her son and daughter-in-law walking through the living room.
"Come out, Mom, Luna wants to have breakfast outside. She said she wants Singaporean specialties," Ethan replied in detail. He is lazy if his mother asks a lot.
"Yes, Mon, once in a while," said Luna, while throwing a sweet smile at her mother-in-law.
"Yes, be careful. Don't take too long or Luna will be tired," exclaimed Dina.
"Okay," Ethan replied, then took Luna's hand and led her out of the house to the car that was parked in the yard.
___
"Where are we going to have breakfast?" asked Luna, raising her eyebrows. Now, she and Ethan were in the car.
"To my favorite restaurant," Ethan replied.
"hmm ..I'm bored of eating in restaurants," said Luna. She wanted a different atmosphere because restaurants are too ordinary for her.
"Okay, we are looking for a place that you might like. It will be here soon," replied Ethan, occasionally smiling glancing at Luna.
After a few minutes, Ethan pulled his car to the side of the road near a traditional Singapore market. The market looks diligent and the style seems classic. Ethan immediately invited Luna to get out of the car.
"Traditional market?" muttered Luna, raising her eyebrows. She had no idea that a man like Ethan would want to find food in the market for such a cheap price.
"Yes. You said that the restaurant is normal," said Ethan, smiling as he took Luna's hand and invited her to walk down the market.
Luna just obeyed wherever she took her husband.
"Want to eat or buy snacks?" Ethan asked.
"Eh, both of them," replied Luna with a shy smile.
"Wow ... you'll be full."
"I will eat a little bit."
"We'll just buy it here. The food is delicious. The place is also hygienic," said Ethan as he led Luna into a shop
There Luna saw a list of Singaporean food and snack menus, while Ethan ordered food.
"I want the peanut ice," said Luna when she saw a menu picture of typical Singaporean peanut ice.
"Luna ... can't eat rice," Ethan reminded.
Instantly Luna pursed her lips. Again she got a ban on her wish. "Please, order just one, I'll just eat a little,"
"Yes, I'll order" Ethan replied patiently. if not obeyed, Luna will sulk, bad mood, put on a sour face. Ethan didn't want that to happen. Today he wanted to make Luna happy and accept it even more. Ethan immediately ordered the peanut ice.
The waiter came with two servings of Laksa, Singaporean specialties, and some Singaporean snacks as well, while the peanut ice has not been delivered.
"Why are you ordering so much?" asked Luna, raising her eyebrows.
"hemm ..you said you wanted to taste a variety of foods here. of course, there are many," Ethan replied.
Luna stared at the array of food that filled the table, then asked, "are we able to finish all of this?"
"Gotta be able to," Ethan replied with a reassuring smile. Because it is food that is not heavy, will not be too full.
The two of them immediately ate, occasionally Luna fed Ethan as if showing concern.
Seeing Ethan voraciously eating, Luna kept wanting to feed him, while she only tasted a little of each food. She didn't expect it, usually, rich people are reluctant to eat in a simple shop like this, but Ethan eats voraciously. historical
"The ice is here," muttered Luna with a smile when the waitress came to bring ice peanuts for her.
"Just eat a little," Ethan exclaimed.
"If it's delicious, I'll finish it," replied Luna. She e immediately ate the ice using a small spoon.
"Does it taste good?" Ethan asked.
"It's delicious, and I'll finish it," replied Luna casually.
Ethan frowned because Luna had broken her promise. "You eat a little more, but eat almost one portion of peanut ice, later our child will be too fat in your stomach."
"Just this once, it's too good. If you don't finish it, it's redundant," said Luna while sipping the ice.
Ethan took a deep breath. Luna was the one who wanted to eat, but she ate so much that she was full, while Luna almost ate a bowl of ice. He just didn't want Luna to have a cold or a cough, or even her twins to be overweight.
"Don't be angry," cried Luna.
"No, I'm not mad," Ethan replied dryly.
Luna has finished the ice and peanut. He looked at Ethan who looked sullen. It's rare for her husband to be like that. Maybe because she broke her promise.
Ethan looks cute when he's angry. Somehow Luna wanted to kiss his puffy cheeks when he was pouting
No matter how many people around her, Luna kissed Ethan on the cheek, leaving Ethan wide-eyed in surprise.
"So that you don't get angry," said Luna with a seductive smile.
Ethan blushed, this was Luna's first time kissing him. Even if only on the cheek, it was a luxurious surprise for Ethan. After almost five months of marriage, this is the first time Luna shows her sweet attitude. Maybe that is the true nature of his wife when she loves someone.
"I'm not mad," Ethan replied with a sheepish smile. Ah, he's like a teenager just dating.
"If I didn't kiss you, it would still be sullen." Luna pinched Ethan's cheek. She became annoyed at her husband.
Ethan also chuckled because Luna's attitude was so sweet to him.
"Come home, I'm full," said Luna.
"Okay ..I'll pay first," replied Ethan. He immediately got up from his seat and paid for the meal with a large amount of money to the merchant who is a middle-aged man.
Luna watched him from a distance. Ethan gave the vendor a lot of money, more than the cost of the food.
"He's generous," muttered Luna, smiling admiringly at her husband. Now is the time for her to open her eyes and heart. Seeing the man who had been near her was the perfect husband figure. Handsome, rich, kind, simple, loyal, even patient, and not adventurous.
