"FROZEN DOMAIN ACTIVATE!"

The ground began to tremble and shake making all of the goblin soldiers, as well as the three statues, stumble about. Lowen, however, lowered his center of gravity and remained steady as a rock. Large sheets of ice began to cover the entire ground and as this wave of ice spread all around, Lowen noticed goblin after goblin crying out in pain. The ice was so cold and moved so fast that it completely covered their feet, freezing them almost instantly and with the ground still trembling some goblins had even fallen over causing their ankles to snap. The pain could be imagined as blood-curdling screams echoed about. As this wave of ice flooded toward Lowen, with quick thinking, Lowen took the sword in his hand and stabbed it halfway up to its hilt, jumping up, with one hand Lowen held his body above the sword.

*WHOOOOOOSH*

With the momentum of this ice wave, a cold gush of wind battered at Lowen nipping at his exposed flesh. The temperature in the chamber began to drop drastically and within only a few seconds, Lowen could see his own breath. The ice was not finished though, as it continued to spread outward, it even climbed parts of the wall, only stopping when it reached the ceiling. That, however, was not good news, for at the top of the dome the shards that had nearly killed Lowen before, began forming at an incredible rate. From hundreds to thousands in mere minutes, once more these shards of ice started rotating. Lowen knew what came next.

Rize smiled with malicious intent.

"Boy, let's see you dodge this."

With a thought, Rize sent these sharp frozen shards down like an emissary of death.

Before these shards of death reached Lowen, Lowen had already placed both feet on each side of the sword's guard and leapt away. However, how could Rize allow Lowen to escape danger so easily. While Lowen was still in midair, Rize sent more shards at Lowen. Lowen knew this would happen though. When it came to combat, everyone knew that one of the worst things you could do during a battle was leap into the air. If you could not fly then you would have limited mobility, making avoiding attacks nearly impossible. Lowen truly didn't like being in the air unguarded like this but he had little choice. As the deadly shards came flying at him, something had moved before them. Seeing this, Rize was again surprised. A large boulder flew through the air and reached Lowen before the shards. Lowen, with a quick movement, kicked off the large boulder and propelled himself towards the wall and as Lowen was about to crash into the wall, with a somersault, Lowen flipped and kicked off the wall, his direction this time was his three statues. Rize saw this and fired more shards, this time not where Lowen was but instead where he would land. Lowen willed one of the statues and it stepped forward intercepting the shards with its body.

The statue's body was pierced more than a dozen times and a few had even pierced a few inches out of its back, coming close to stabbing Lowen. Still, Lowen had made it to his three statues and they quickly formed a protective circle around him.

With the right timing, Lowen had made one of his statues throw a large boulder at him, allowing him to avoid being skewered like a piece of meat. Its good that Lowen had seen through Rize's attack and planned ahead, otherwise he might have really been screwed there.

Meanwhile, the surroundings had now grown eerily quiet. Peaking between the statues, Lowen could now see that all of the goblin soldiers had died, whether it be from freezing or being pierced by one of the thousands of ice shards, either way, they were now dead. Looking at Rize though, it didn't seem to faze him in the least, instead, he seemed enraged that Lowen was still alive. Lowen as well could care less for an enemy and instead, he focused and quickly accessed the situation.

Looking at his pierced statue, Lowen could see that the shards remaining within were damaging it. Like when Lowen had been pierced with Colt's earth spikes, his healing was impacted due to a persons magic energy being within his body. Now his statue was encountering the same problem. With these shards in its body, its regeneration was being impacted. The statue's body trembled slightly before the rocks making up its body moved and rolled around making slight adjustments and as it did, the shards of ice were quickly forced out. With the shards interference now gone, the body of the statue quickly began regenerating and after a few seconds, its body was once more whole.

Lowen and Rize observed each other for merely a few seconds but it felt like hours. As they made eye contact with one another, both of their expressions twisted and they simultaneously made their move. A storm of frozen shards spun through the air and shot at Lowen, once again Lowen's statue stepped in front of him protecting him fully. With a body full of shards, this statute changed places with another statue and in sync, the group of statues and Lowen moved forward one step. With the pierced statue now at his side, it began to force out the shards and regenerate. Rize once more rained down shards trying to end it here and now. With the ground already frozen and the fresh blood from all the goblins freezing over as well, the ground was unstable and extremely slick. Every step made from Lowen and the statues was one made with strength and would penetrate several inches into the ground, that way they had no chance at falling. In this way, Lowen and his wall of rock statues slowly made his way toward Rize step by step.

------------------------------------------------------------

As soldier after soldier ran by, a shadowy figure made their way deeper and deeper within this maze-like cave system. A left here, a right there, 500 ft down 1000, soon this shadowy figure stared down a long corridor and waited in the shadows like a thief in the night. In his sight, 200 feet away, 10 goblin soldiers stood outside of a large iron door guarding it. This figure had only waited for a few moments before a goblin soldier came running by. Not noticing this shadowy figures presence, it ran down the long corridor in a panic. Running up to the other goblins, it said a few words in terror before turning around and running back the way it came. One of the goblin soldiers who seemed to be in charge yelled something in the goblin tongue and took off, behind him, 7 other goblins followed. They too passed this shadowy figure but again no one noticed this figure hiding in the shadows.

After a few moments, this long passageway grew quiet, at the end of this path, two soldiers still stood there, guarding this iron door. The two were confused about what was happening, apparently, a young boy had invaded their cave and was fighting their leader but to the two of them, this sounded ridiculous. They figured it had to be some kind of joke or misunderstanding thought up from one of their brethren to prank them. With these simple thoughts, the two guards put it out of their minds and continued to stand guard.

Suddenly a blur went by one of the guards.

*WHOOSH*

*THUD*

*CRACK*

A loud noise went by and the guard looked at his side. His friend that was just next to him, was for some odd reason laying down, covered in blood. His friend was dead but how? When? This goblin was utterly shocked, looking around, it suddenly hit him, something was wrong, extremely wrong. Just as he was about to shout for help, another blur appeared and this guards vision went black, he was dead.

Pulling his fist out of this goblins chest, this shadowy figure felt nothing. Wiping his blood covered hand on one of the guards clothes, this figure picked up a heavy battle hammer. Shuffling through one of the guards clothes, this person grabbed a key and inserted it in the iron door and turned.

*Click*

Opening the door, this person was not surprised by what they saw. A man was chained to both the floor and wall and was forced to kneel. With a contraption attached to their neck, it forced them to look up, as drop after drop of water gently rained down onto their forehead. Some might assume that this device was simple and could do nothing as it inflicted no pain but the truth was the exact opposite. With continuous cold drops of water dripping down at random times, this form of torture was one of the mind, designed for the sole purpose of breaking you. Many would rather have their eyes clawed out or their flesh peeled then to be subjected to this torture. Grabbing the contraption on the man's neck, with a bit of force it was torn off and the man's head slumped down lifelessly. Lifting the man's head up, this person looked over the tortured man's features and they were a perfect match to what Lowen had described to him. The only thing that didn't seem to match were the eyes as they were beyond dull and listless but looking at the torture device, the man knew why. He too had been subjected to this very same device and more. Raising the hammer Lowen had lent him, the man struck the chains freeing Clovis. Clovis still held no reaction. The man picked Clovis up, slinging him over his shoulder, turned and vanished from this place.

----------------------------------------------

Lowen moved closer and closer and with each step, he picked up a few weapons along the way, handing them to his statues. However, there was a problem now. The closer Lowen and his statue's got to Rize, the colder the temperature got. For Lowen it wasn't too bad as he continuously circulated his ki, he could maintain his core body temperature. But surprisingly, the statues were starting to regenerate at a slower and slower rate. It seemed that any moisture that got into their cracks and crevices would freeze and expand, causing the statues to split and fissure in several places. Lowen still forcefully pushed on. With only 10 or so feet left between Lowen and Rize, Rize seemed to be growing more and more panicked. With another step forward, Lowen smiled.

(Let's end this.)

Rize threw another round of shards at Lowen and again skewered one of the statues, after that, Lowen no longer stepped forward, instead, he roared within his mind.

(NOW!)

The statues immediately went into action and with the many weapons Lowen had gathered for them, they threw them at Rize with great force. Rize seemed panicked and threw up a wall of ice. Some of the weapons hit the wall of ice while others embedded themselves in both the ceiling and the dome wall, this was the best accuracy the statues had but it wasn't over yet. Lowen grabbed one of the statues and circulated his ki into his muscles, using a truly unnatural strength, Lowen's waist strained as he lifted one of his statues up and with tyrannical power, he threw his statue at Rize. As this huge statue weighing at least, 3000 lbs came flying at Rize, a look of horror was plastered on his face before it transformed into one of excitement. Suddenly the thousands of shards condensed into one, forming a huge tree like spear of ice. As the statue came crashing forward, the spear of ice came crashing down.

*BOOM*

The tree-sized spear of ice tore through the statue like paper and continued forward toward Lowen. The other two statues jumped in front of Lowen but this spears speed and force was too overbearing and had already torn through them. With no time to move out of the way, Lowen once more threw out a punch.

"SNAKE ROCK FIST!!"

*BOOOOOM!!*
