The Cataclysmic World of Alheira

32 Chapter 3: The Drunk Girl In The Alley

I sat by the chair and I started to examine my sword Calibur. I realized that the runes engraved on my sword began to glow. The runes were out of this world and even my decipher system couldn't translate it. Also, I realized that my flames were inanimate. These flames were not real flames. I realized that as I hold onto the paper. It didn't burn at all. I could also transfer or hide my flames. My sword was the best hiding place. I hid it under the hilt and it worked.

I was trying to find out more about this sword. This was the only weapon I could ever wield and if I tried to wield other weapons, it would just break.

"Mmmf... Good morning, Yakiro." Ayumi stretched her hands out and yawned.

"Put some clothes first, idiot!"

I returned to examine my sword further. As soon as I touched the emblem on the middle of the cross-guard, the first sphere skill tree appeared. It was my Azeath skill Tree. The first skill tree I obtained. It was octagonal and now it had blades on the sides that it made look like an 'X'. The emblem in the middle of the skill tree and the emblem on the sword is the same.

I touched the emblem of the sword and it suddenly opened a far wider skill tree. It covered my whole vision. There were slots already unlocked and basically, these slots were unlocked by slaying unique monsters. The goblin pirate captain that I killed gave my sword a special skill called plunder. Each time I deal damage to an enemy, it plunders their stats and converts into mine. It's similar to Ayumi.

"What are you doing this early in the morning?" Ayumi asked me.

"I'm examining the sword."

"You don't look like you had any sleep."

"And whose fault is that?"

She smiled awkwardly and went out of the room. Koneko suddenly pounced on my back and hugged me.

"Good morning, master!" She grinned.

"Whatcha doin, master?" Her eyebrows bent upwards.

I rubbed her head and she smiled.

"I'm examining my sword."

"Really? Let me see!" Koneko reached her hand and suddenly the scribbles shined.

"Woah! Do that again, Koneko!"

"Okay!"

Suddenly the scribbles shine into words. It spelled out:

A L M I G H T Y

Hmm. It's something definitely worth knowing. Is this sword really that strong?

"Almighty."

As soon as I spoke it, a series of icons appeared. Apparently, the sword is able to evolve. There are many stages but I think I want to obtain the 'X-Calibur' version. Since everything around my skills had an x mark then it would be obvious to choose X-Calibur.

I still had my Cathedra and Blade Pillar skill. I wonder what those two are?

"Master, I'm hungry."

"Me too. Let's go down and eat breakfast. Also, enable your clothes every time we go outside the room."

"Okay!"

I went first into the bathroom to wash my mouth. I hate morning breaths.

I went into the dining area and they were there chatting.

"Master! Eat some stew!"

"Alright, alright! Hahaha, you're energetic as ever, Koneko." She smiled.

"Sit beside me, Yakiro. If you don't I'll whip you." Ayumi ordered me. What now? Now that she's open, she can now do whatever she wants? Geez. Well, she's beautiful anyway so I'll let that pass. I sat beside her and Koneko served me a stew. It tasted delicious.

"Kiddo, we're going tomorrow. Did you enjoy your stay?"

"Yeah. Although my wallet is pretty dry right now."

"Don't worry. As soon as you go to the village, I'm sure it'll fill up nicely."

"I hope so."

"Pass me the bread, Yakiro."

"Here you go, madam!"

She snickered. She's really enjoying it now that she's not a slave anymore.

"What about the villagers?"

"They set out first and they'll start building inside the border of Warrenio."

"Right. But after we arrived, I want to visit the grave of Rina and Edward."

Suddenly, Ayumi and Koneko looked at me with melancholy. I patted their head and smiled.

"Don't worry. I'm fine."

"Yakiro, can you stop patting my head?"

"Oh sorry."

"Also, Kiddo, you're going to continue your training. As soon as we set off, you're going to carry large rocks."

"Bu-"

Smack!

That KARATE CHOP! I decided to call his move shuto! That freaking shuto hurts! I'm not even fully recovered yet!

"No buts. Remember our rule... What was it again?"

"Don't ask me. I forgot."

Shuto!

"Ah! What was that for!"

"That's for forgetting the rules. I'll set out the new ones."

Rule 1: No Buts

Rule 2: No Skills

Rule 3: No Romance While Training

Rule 4: No Sleeping

Rule 5: No Slacking

Rule 6: No Unneeded Breaks

Rule 7: No Escaping

Rule 8: No Giving Up

Rule 9: Lose One Meal Each Time A Rule Is Broken

Rule 10: Don't Break The Rules

"That's too many!"

"Those are my ten commandments. Follow it or receive the chop."

"Alright! Fine."

The four of us laughed but the two girls suddenly stopped laughing when Mr. Arthur said:

"That applies to you too, Ayumi and Koneko."

"Bu-" Both of them were about to speak but.

Shuto!

"Ahhh!"

Koneko stared at me teary-eyed. I raised both of my shoulders. What'd you expect me to do? That guy is level 76.

"By the way, Mr. Arthur, how old are you?"

Shuto!

"Ah!"

"That's for asking my age. And I'm still 56."

"Really? Then why is your hair white."

"It's hereditary you idiot. It's on my genes. My family are all white-haired."

"That's awesome!"

We finished eating and we went on a hot spring to take a bath. Funny things happened and I don't want to talk about it. The night had come and we were now resting on the bed. I was still half-awake, thanks to these nude girls that I could barely sleep. I'm still not comfortable with it. Suddenly, I heard a knock on my door. I went to open it.

"Come with me." He asked. "Lock the door when we leave."

"Right." I was about to wear my armor but Mr. Arthur told me not to. So I went out with my underwear.

(Underwear: Clothes worn next to the skin. So Yakiro is wearing his tunic and his pants.)

He led me into an alley. It was silent at first but as soon as we got deeper and deeper, the alley was starting to get rowdy. There were people brawling outside a building, there was loud music, there were thugs loitering, and there were loud conversations. We went further in the alley and found ourselves drenched in red as the light was scarlet. Hey, isn't this place...

"Welcome to RedLight Alley." A girl around her twenties with a sexy figure and large bust greeted us. She was wearing a red latex dress, typically for erotic purposes, and she had rabbit ears. She was a demi-human and she held Mr. Arthur's arm.

"Right this way sir."

"Hehe... Yes, ma'am!"

I'm seeing things that I don't want to see. What the hell Mr. Arthur? I don't want to know you're into these types of ladies.

These ladies will suck you dry. Especially your wallet.

"Why'd you bring me here?" I pulled Mr. Arthur's tunic.

"Well, I feel lonely about coming alone. I won't be able to enjoy it if I didn't have any company."

"Really? I really don't want to know your fetishes."

He whispered. "Rabbit girls hehehe."

Damn, that's awful! Brrrr! I felt a shiver ran up my spine in disgust. He went inside and as soon as I went in, a drunk girl fell on me.

"Woah miss..."

"Whuu *hiccup* ar zyah? *hiccup* Yah *hiccup* look fine to me."

She grabbed my head and leaned it close to her.

Why the hell do I keep on getting kissed!

"*Hiccup* zyah... Zyah luk fayn *hiccup* tek rezponsibili *hiccup* tee, alright?"

"What are you?"

"Alrayt?!" She started to act angrily.

"What do you mean lady. You're drunk."

"I em *hiccup* a nobeel... *hiccup* don tah... You der *hiccup* adresz me that *hiccup* way commoner... *hiccup hiccup*" She spoke between hiccups. Just what is she thinking?

And why would a noble like her stay in this alley?

Suddenly, two knights got out of the bar.

"There you are, Princess Ava!"

She's a princess?!

"Forgive her, mister. She's a bit alcoholic." A knight approached me and held out a small pouch. I reached out and he gave it to me.

"We're terribly sorry."

"What's this?"

"Compensation for holding her out. I thank you. We don't actually belong in this nation. We were just traveling."

They started to walk away but the princess took a grip on my clothes.

"Hey!"

"I dun wanna! I dun wanna! *hiccup*."

We tried to pull her hand out and it ripped my clothing.

"Aaaah! Look what you did Princess Ava!"

The knights bowed down at me and asked for my forgiveness.

"It's alright. Just take her home safe."

"Thank you for understanding. Let's go princess."

The Knights carried her away and she looked back at me.

"*Hiccup* you ther! *hiccup* you hansam!"

What the hell just happened.

I went inside and found Mr. Arthur by the corner, surrounded by rabbit girls. All of them wore seductive clothing. This place is literally the heaven of any man.

"Hey, there young boy. What can I do for you?" A lady with fox ears approached me.

"No thank you. I'm just going to a friend."

"If you change your mind, I'm just one call away. A'right, kiddo?" She sent me a flying kiss before disappearing into the crowd. The music here was seductive and it came from a magical item. It looked like a diamond.

"What took you so long, kid?" Mr. Arthur asked me. The rabbit girls smiled at me.

"I got some business to deal with. Anyhow, I'm going home."

"Why?" He got a sad look on his face.

"This place isn't my type and my clothes just got ripped off."

"Alright. Then be careful when you go back."

I walked out of the alley. Soon I saw a group of thugs approach me. I don't have time dealing with them. I had to get some sleep.

"Stride!" I blasted off as I drift out in the alley. People were surprised and screamed "Woah! What was that?!"

The night was cold and I'm really sleepy. I arrived in just five minutes and I walked to my room. I opened the door and it was dark. As soon as I went in, the candlelight lit up, revealing Koneko and Ayumi in their nightgowns.

"Where have you been?"

"I just went on a stroll around town. The night sky was beautiful so I decided to star gazing."

"Master don't lie! I can sense if you lie!" Koneko grunted.

"Oh ahh... I went to see a doctor..."

"It's midnight and doctors don't open till noon."

"Ahhh i..."

"Don't lie master!"

"Look don't be angry okay? I can explain."

"Alright. We'll listen."

"Hmm hmm!" Koneko nodded.

"I went into a redlight district..."

Suddenly they cracked their knuckles and went to get a whip. They snapped it right in front of me.

I ran to the door but I was suddenly locked. Why?! Every time!

"I-i can explain!"

"No explanation needed! Stupid Horny Dog!"

"Pervert Master!"

Whip! Whip! Whip! Lash! Whip!

"AHHHHHHHHH!"

And after that... I barely got any sleep.

The morning came and we packed our things. We ate breakfast but before we went off our way, Ayumi and I went around town. Ayumi was able to convince Koneko not to come, in a promise that she'll buy the best candy there is.

"You'll be going to treat me anything I want today. Okay? If not, you'll get the punches. If you value your life, that is." Ayumi was pretty angry about last night. So to get her to forgive me, she told me to treat her something she likes.

We went into a shop that sells books that teaches magic. She told me that she wants to learn magic.

"But I don't have any money left on me. Both of you dried it out. Each book costs one gold."

"Then find a way. I won't let it pass by."

She's pretty demanding. Now I understand why people used to hate her back in our world.

I searched my pocket then a pouch fell.

"What is that?"

"Oh, I got this from a knight yesterday."

I opened it and found two pieces of coins. But it didn't look like bronze or gold. It looked like silver but it shined an emerald color. I asked Ayumi what this is and her eyes widened.

"T-that's... A platinum coin..."

"Platinum coin? How much is that?"

"It sums up about..." She took a moment to breathe. "One thousand gold pieces."

One... One thousand gold pieces?!

We went inside the store.

"Hello, how would I h-"

"BRING ME THE MOST EXPENSIVE BOOK!"

"Yakiro?!"

Hehehe! I'm rich! I'm filthy rich!

"Here you go, sir. This is a Cosmic Grimoire. It can give you a cosmic class and cosmic spells. It's 60 gold."

"I'll take it!" I dropped the platinum coin and her eyes widened. She brought two pouches. One pouch contained five hundred gold pieces and she took sixty out from the other pouch before giving it to me.

"What do you want next, Ayumi?"

"I-idiot! I don't need you to buy everything that I want! I can manage myself!"

"Elena's not your party anymore." Suddenly her eyes widened. Did she just realize that now?

"Alright! Just this once! But it doesn't give you any points! Even if I love you..."

"What?" I didn't hear the last sentence. She spoke it in a very soft voice.

"Nothing! Idiot! Then follow me!"

We went inside the weapon shop.

"Good ol' morning, folks. What can I do for yah?"

"I'd like chainmail..."

"The most expensive one."

"And a knife..."

"The most expensive one there is."

"Could you shut up, Yakiro?"

I'm really out of it today! I just filled my pockets just like that!

The guy went to pick up a piece of chainmail and a knife. He got back and laid it on top of the table.

"This is the best chainmail I got. It had been imbued with enhance magic and light feather effect. Light feather effect allows the chainmail to feel like a clothing. You'll think that you're just wearing a shirt. The magic imbued enhances dexterity and agility dramatically while keeping the defense high."

"And this, this is a Reaper Knife. It is imbued with Phantom Magic and Grim Effect. It works well with ghost types, undead types, and necromancy types. It also gives strength boost and agility boost without hindering the holder."

"How much?"

"The chainmail costs 250 gold and the knife costs 433 gold. But if you buy both, I'll allow you to get 500 for it"

"Deal!"

"Yakiro!"

I smiled at her. I paid the weapon seller and he smiled.

"I want a breastplate, please. The lightest one and expensive too. I'll also buy some necklace you got there."

"Oh, those necklaces? The gem is edible. And if you eat it, you'll get the effects permanently."

"I'll buy it and the chestplate."

He went and returned with a breastplate around my size.

"This bad boy here is the lightest breastplate. It is made from a pillar boss named Pillar Dragon. It is drenched in black and it is resistant to necromancy effects and slow effect. It is enhanced by light feather and it'll weight like a paper. Gives a decent amount of defense too."

"Here is a Mana Necklace. The rarest and expensive of all of them. Once you eat the gem, your mana will never reduce ever again. And here is a fake gem. It'll be the replacement on the necklace. It doesn't have any effect but it'll look expensive."

"How much?"

"The armor is 599 gold pieces and the necklace is 399. If you take both, it's down to 700 and that's thirty off the original market price.

"Deal!"

"Geez, Yakiro!"

I was left with 740 gold pieces. I might have spent too much. Geez, even in real life! I spend too much money on games!
