Soon, the renovations were done with the new house. Although the inn was fairly nice, nothing beat having a place to call home. There was a small incident the prior night where their neighbors from the next room over were engaging in night sports, very loudly, waking the three of them. While the two succubi just fell back asleep, the loud moans and squeaking of the bed kept Mei up for almost an hour.

Though tired, Mei still awoke before the two siblings. After wiping the sleep from her eyes, she lifted both arms above her head, causing her back and shoulders to let out a series of satisfying pops. Looking at her two companions, she couldn't help but smile at Liliana. Despite how much she acted like an adult, her sleeping posture was reminiscent of a child sprawled out across the combined beds. Her stomach was exposed, and her mouth wide open as she was halfway atop her little brother. Looking at the young incubus, she couldn't help but notice his erect soldier giving a morning salute. His face had not the slightest care in the world, his lips slightly parted, as he lightly stirred before continuing his heavy breathing. After shifting a little, his morning wood, combined with his loose pajama shorts caused Mei to receive an eyeful of his exposed penis.

Although she treated Kalin as her own little sister, at times she couldn't help but remember that Kalin was quickly turning into a man. With his 13th birthday, as well as adulthood, arriving quickly, it wouldn't be surprising if he awoke any day now. While most members of the races gradually go through puberty, often taking vast periods of time for their bodies to change, it isn't the same for succubi. Though symptoms of 'awakening' can appear a few days before, once the process starts, they virtually change overnight. Before then, the succubus is still in its infancy state. Though they may feel a curiosity about sex or attraction to others, it is no different from any other child. However, once it happens, they become a full-fledged sex demon, requiring sexual energy as part of their 'diet'.

Mei knew how much it pained Liliana that she was in her 70's and hadn't awakened yet. In human equivalents, she would be about 15-ish years old without having gone through puberty. As women tend to start puberty at a younger age than men, she had been waiting for over two decades for her chance to become a woman. When Mei reunited with her after almost a decade apart, Liliana had gotten over most of her grief, claiming that her body was waiting for Kalin to grow up first. Although it wasn't like she couldn't understand the infatuation that Liliana had for her brother, as Mei too had a slight attraction to the youngster, Mei still found the (mostly one-sided by Lili) sexual tension between the siblings as a little strange.

As her thoughts drifted around, they eventually made their way to the topic of Kalin's new companions. Thinking of them brought a slight frown to her lips. After meeting them a couple times over the past few days, she had come to the conclusion that they were honestly rather sweet and immature girls that tried too hard to be independent, almost similar to a certain elven succubus she knew. The twins Yami and Artemis had gone on several quests with Kalin the past few days. After the advent of them crying in front of the guild, they had started to open up to Kalin and let him into their hearts. While as a sister figure, Mei was happy that he was finally making friends his age, she had a strange nagging feeling like something that was rightfully hers was slowly getting taken away from her. She didn't dislike the girls, but she couldn't help but feel a little annoyed at them.

As her thoughts mindlessly wandered, she got ready for her early morning. While Kalin had been going out with the twins the past couple days, Mei and Liliana had been going around finalizing things for their new home and reestablishing connections they had in the past. Once they settled into their new home, they were planning on accepting a quest or two themselves. Just the day prior they had finished purchasing enough furniture for the main living spaces, and some of the bedrooms. Most of the bedrooms, however, would remain empty for some time, perhaps to be used as temporary storage.

As most mornings went, Kalin was the second to awake. After tossing once or twice, before wiping the sleep from his eyes with his balled hands. Sitting up, he caused Lili to flip over as her as her left half of her body was removed from atop him. Swinging his legs over the side of the bed, he let out a yawn and blinked several times, as his eyes adjusted to the light leaking in through the window. Seeing Mei walk out of the bathroom, where she had just finished washing her face, he gave a tired smile to her before going to wash his own.

After Mei dragged Liliana from the world of dreams, the three proceeded to dress in casual clothes before eating breakfast together. After that, they turned in the keys for their room and set off to their new home. Kalin informed the twins that he'd be unable to go adventuring with them that day, allowing them to spend the time arranging furniture and settling into their new home.

With the renovations done, and the last shipment of furniture arriving in a couple hours, the three only needed to head out and buy some housewares. Lili took them to a street market that specialized in homewares. It took them almost an hour to arrive on foot, even though it was still considered to be in the southern side of the city. With the vast size of Den, one could live their entire life in the city, going to a new restaurant every day, and never visit all of them before they die.

As beautiful as many of the porcelain and china dishes were, the three were looking for something a little less delicate to use. Although the wares were made of every kind of material imaginable, from wood to slate and even jade and bone, many of them were more decorative than practical. Kalin, as someone that loved to make things, fell in love with many of the amazing and numberless styles displayed. He had never known that even something so simple as a basic plate or bowl could have so many different shapes and forms.

After they purchased enough dishes and decorations for them and more to spare, Liliana spoke up, "Since you've never been to this part of the city before, why don't I show you one of my favorite stores in the whole city."

Kalin wholeheartedly agreed to the invitation of his sister, and seeing that Mei didn't disagree, she led them down a busy road toward one of largest business districts in the southern part of the city. Right near the center of it all, Liliana brought them to a large building that smelled of freshly baked pastries and sweets.

To call the café large was an understatement. The store easily had over a hundred waitresses taking orders and bringing out sweets to the various tables. The few men in the store seemed to be dragged there by their dates, as the whole shop gave off the feeling of being a woman's world. The shop had a main floor, with several balconies above that allowed somebody to see all 5 stories just by standing near one of the several entrances. Each and every one of these were filled with people eating sweets and drinking tea. The entire menu was filled with decorative foods ranging from exotic fruits to fancy cakes and parfaits. Liliana's sweet tooth started aching the second she walked through the door. Even though it was still early in the morning, the store was filled to the brim. Just glancing around Kalin estimated there to be a minimum of 4-500 tables.

"Table for three?" Asked a friendly hostess as they walked through the door.

Lili smiled and nodded, as she said, "If you'll follow me, there's a table open on the third balcony." She led them to a small brass room as a gate closed behind them after they entered. Feeling the room shake a moment, Kalin felt the pressure the ground exerted on his legs increase. Excitement filled his eyes as he realized that he was standing on one of the machines his sister had told him about called an elevator. While they were uncommon in most parts of the country, many big cities had these moving rooms to decrease the time it takes to traverse large buildings. Originally designed for a certain duke, that had grown so rotund as to become immobile, to be able to traverse his house, the elevator became popular with large companies and even mage towers and guild buildings.

After arriving at the second from the top floor, they were seated at a table situated near the balcony and a window. As they opened their menus and browsed them for a minute or two, Kalin asked his sister, "What should I get?" The options were so numerous that he had become too overwhelmed to decide what he should order.

As if she were waiting for the question, Lili had a large smile on her face as she said, "While most things on the menu are great, the best things here are their ice creams. You've probably never had it, but it's a sweet, frozen custard dessert that's usually flavored with various fruits. My favorite one is just their violetberry custard. It's just beautiful to both eat and look at. If you can't decide on a single flavor, you can order as many different kinds as you want." After explaining all the different flavors, Kalin had finally decided what he wanted, allowing the waitress to take their order.

After talking together for a couple minutes, the waitress came back with three glass bowls with varying amounts of frozen custard in them. With Liliana having 8 scoops of custard, and Kalin ordering a more standard 3 and Mei 2, the surrounding tables couldn't help but do a double take when they saw the giant bowl placed in front of the tiny adult. Against all their expectations, Liliana easily consumed the entirety of the bowl save a single bite that she begrudgingly shared with Kalin.

Kalin had ordered three separate flavors, one a lime green fruit reminiscent of a mango which had a tart flavor similar to raspberries, another a type of citrus known as grassberry which neither tasted like grass nor was a berry, and plain vanilla. Mei stuck to ales sweet option, ordering red tea flavored custard.

They sat at the table as they had Kalin orate his adventures of the past couple days, causing the two older girls to smile at the cheerful expression that seemed to be permanently carved into his face.
