Kalin woke up early the day of the expedition. Feeling a familiar pressure on his chest, he petted a small fox-shaped object that was laying on his chest. Having managed to snuggle her way inside his shirt, the very ends of her black tail was hanging out of the bottom of it, lazily swaying. Digging her out of his shirt, Kalin walked over to his wardrobe and changed into a set of adventuring clothing. After quickly getting ready, he quietly exited his room to go scavenge the kitchen for something to eat, Alene silently trotting after him.

Although he wanted to avoid waking Mei and Lili from their sleep, he was surprised to find the smell of breakfast being cooked when he walked down the stairs. Walking to the kitchen, he saw the back view of two very differently sized women preparing breakfast. Lili and Mei were both wearing aprons, to avoid dirtying splattering oil or bits of food from getting on their pajamas, or lack thereof. Lili was sporting but a red thong at the moment, showing almost every inch of her doll-like figure. Her tail was waving around in a dance-like pattern, drawing looks to her small butt that looked tantalizingly round and squeezable. Even though bereft of a top, she was also devoid of any cleavage, though Kalin would never admit it. She was bending over while pretending to look for something within the cupboard, allowing Kalin to get a better view of her wiggling squishy butt.

Mei was wearing more than Lili, as she was wearing what amounted to a short grey tank top and shorts. While still covering more than her adventurer armor, her top showed gratuitous amounts of her sun-kissed skin. Her white shorts weren't too small, but the they still outlined her perfect curves. Kalin's gaze automatically fell on the definition in her back and thigh muscles. The creases of her body showed an incredible lack of fat. With every movement of Mei's body, her muscles quivered as if to indicate the massive amount of power they contained, ready to explode at any moment. The two contrasting types of beauty complimented each other in a way that enhanced each of their contrasting traits.

Kalin was surprised at the sight of the two women, especially the shorter one, being awake so early in the morning. "What are you guys doing up so early?" he asked while tilting his head.

Mei, who was currently cutting fruit into even bite-sized pieces at an ungodly speed, said without turning to him, "Good morning Kalin, since you are going to be gone for several days, Lili and I decided to make you a home cooked meal before you leave. Compressed bread and dried food get old after a while when you're traveling."

"Yep," said Liliana spinning around, causing the hem of her apron to lift, "those foods taste like ass!" Noticing his gaze locked onto her flipped apron, she grinned mischievously. As if her outfit wasn't revealing enough, she pulled the apron to the side, giving Kalin full view of her nigh nonexistent right breast and pale nipple. She asked coyly, "Do you like what you see? I bet you're falling in love with your sister all over again, right?"

Almost like he had answered this question hundreds of times, he just smiled. "Yep, you're always so pretty Lili."

With an expression that one might have when their pet performed a trick, Lili cackled with a triumphant expression filling her face. Looking over to Mei, but continuing with her conversation with Kalin, she teased her best friend indirectly. "What about Mei, she's pretty sexy don't you think."

Kalin looked over to Mei who had a slight reddish tint emerging from her cheeks and ears. Examining her, Kalin looked to be in deep thought, causing Mei to become more self-conscious as the silence proceeded. Though she always kept up a strong front, she always wished she was more girly and much shorter. As negative thoughts about her being too masculine filled her mind, Kalin said something that caused her mood to darken, "No, she's not." Mei couldn't help but feel sad and disappointed. Although she knew it was probably the case, she had always enjoyed how Kalin appreciated her body. She had suspected that instead of girly, he appreciated her because of his tendency toward hero worship. As her mood continued to spiral downward, Kalin continued to speak. "Mei's not sexy, Mei's cute." When he said that, Mei's mind froze. Cute? Her? Unable to completely process what he just said, Mei seemed to forget what she was doing, just standing still, as her face slowly got redder. He then started scolding Lili, "You should know this Lili, aren't you two friends?"

Lili's mischievous smile got larger as she noticed the changing hues on Mei's face, "Oh, so why don't you tell me why she's so cute?"

"That's easy!" he retorted immediately. "Like how she always blushes when you give her a compliment or covers her face when she's embarrassed. Mei also sometimes bites her lower lip or messes with her hair when she's nervous. How she goes to the bathroom and tries several hairstyles when she doesn't think anyone is looking. She also looks cute when she's training so hard that she doesn't notice other people entering the training area. Oh, she's also cute when she gets angry. She also tries to act tough, especially when she's in front of strangers. Whenever she sees small animals-"

The more things Kalin listed, the darker red Mei's face got. The redder her face, the larger Lili's grin became. Not being able to take it anymore, Mei dropped everything she was doing, covered her face with both her hands, and crouched down where she stood with her knees covering her face as well as she could. Her reaction caused Lili to be unable to contain her laughter anymore. A small snicker escaped from her lips, causing Mei to direct her unknown feelings at Lili in the form of an outburst. Jumping at her, she yelled, "You did this on purpose Lili, you jerk!" Shaking the small succubus, Mei demanded, "You made him say it, right? Make him stop!" The surges of various emotions were so large that Mei thought she was going to explode.

Lili responded with an innocent expression, "But I never told him to say anything. These are his own opinions," then looking for confirmation, "right Kalin?"

Kalin just nodded and said, "Lili didn't tell me to say anything. You are just really cute, Mei." Mei turned away from him to hide the smile that had made its way onto her face without her noticing. "I'm sorry if it made you feel bad; I didn't mean to hurt your feelings."

Lili patted his back and said, "Don't worry, she's just shy and embarrassed. She's not angry. In fact, you should tell her what you feel about her more often. I think she'd like that."

Spinning her head around, Mei glared at Lili before sighing. Mei knew the more she reacted, the greater kick Lili would get out of the situation. Although she didn't fully believe his words, though she knew Kalin wouldn't lie to her about this, his words made her feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Finishing up the making of breakfast, all three of them, plus Alene, sat at the bar in the kitchen. Although they did section off an area to act as a dining room, it was too much of a hassle to use it for only three people. As Kalin ate, his cheeks puffed out, making him look like a chipmunk. The two girls were amused with the smile across his face caused by the food they made him.

Little by little, the amount of food started to decrease until there was nothing left. Noticing the time, Lili had a frown form on her face. She knew it was time for him to go soon, but that didn't mean she had to be happy about it. Kalin had already gotten up from his chair and started washing the dishes. Mei was next to him, rinsing them before placing them on a rack to dry. I didn't take long for them to finish cleaning up. Gathering up his supplies, Kalin started to make his way toward the entryway of the house.

"You packed enough supplies and underwear, right? Do you have your toothbrush? Extra shoes and socks?" Mei was acting very much like a mother, making sure Kalin didn't forget anything. Although she tried not to show it, to not worry him, Mei was a little worried about his safety, though not to the extent Liliana was.

Lili, not able to stand it anymore, lunged at Kalin's body. Bracing himself for impact, Kalin was able to stay standing as she locked both her legs around his hips, and both arms around his neck. Her smile showed worried and anxious expression as she stared into his eyes, with only the slightest gaps between their faces. "You better finish the quest and return safely!" she said with a quivering voice, "Promise me."

Kalin rubbed her back to comfort her. Not wanting to worry his sister more than he already was, he calmly agreed, "I promise I'll stay safe."

"Good!" She said, reeling in her emotions, "If you don't, I'll learn necromancy, find out who killed you, torture them to death, and then raise your body back from the dead so I can kill you for breaking your promise!"

She didn't let him go for an entire 5 minutes. The entire time, he rubbed her head and back to comfort her. Eventually Lili extracted herself from his body, leaving a wet spot on his shoulder where her puffy red eyes were moments before. Kalin walked over to Mei, wrapped his arms around her, and gave her a peck on her cheek. After holding her for a few seconds, he released her before doing the same to Liliana.

"Have a safe trip." Mei commanded as Kalin flashed a smile at the two women.

As the door closed behind him, Lili and Mei continued to stare at the door. Mei eventually broke the silence extending her hand to Liliana and asking, "Come on, we should get going. We should leave for our own quest so Kalin doesn't come back to an empty home."

Wiping her eyes, Lili took her friend's hand and asked her, "He is ready, right? Are you sure he doesn't need us to follow him to make sure he's safe? Although he's getting close, he's not even an adult yet?

Mei just smiled at the uncharacteristic worry on Liliana's face. She smiled as she looked her friend in the eyes, "Aren't you the one that worked so hard to make sure he was strong enough for things like this? We've taken him troll hunting before, Kobolds are going to be a piece of cake. Trust him." Giving her a hug, Mei chuckled, "You love him too much, don't you?"

Lili confirmed her question, "I can't help it. You know how cute he is. My body is reacting to him. I don't know when, but I know that both his and my body will awaken soon. This means we won't be able to keep his existence a secret much longer. Mei," Lili said with a serious look on her face, "I'm not going to lie to you. You've probably noticed already, but I want you to get together with Kalin. I eventually want you to become his first wife too. As I will probably awaken after him, I want you to take care of him the night he awakens. I don't want you to feel forced, but please think about it." Squeezing Mei with her arms, she continued, "I want you to think about how you'd feel if you let somebody else take him away from us. You know I love you both, I want you to be happy too Mei."

As Mei contemplated Liliana's words, she added one more thing, "Oh yeah, if you disagree, I'll have to get those twins to take care of him during that time. Remember that when you're making your decision."
