The elf was unblinkingly staring at the creepily laughing fox in front of it

'Kekekeke' with its evil laughter that grated into his ears it, looked up to the sky and continued laughing until it abruptly stopped and wiped it's head in his direction, making him jump in surprise and fear. Lee was finally back to the cool-headed and cold girl we all know as he realized that she had lost control of this new masochistic and evil side of hers, so with a deep breath she focused back to the plan she had set in place and cooly stared the uncomfortable elf down

"I have fulfilled my part of the deal, now it is time for you to fulfil your's," spoke Lee directly into Ayase's mind

Ayase's face change as he remembered their deal inside the woods, if she searched his itch then he had to scratch her's, that was the deal so with a heavy a resigned sigh he replied

"As a member of the Elven Tribe, I will always keep my word's, name your price demon, be it wealth, or treasures I can give it to you all"

This kind of arrogant reply was reserved for only those that are raised with power, Lee knew when she met him by observation alone in his action's, facial expressions and arrogant speech that this man was not just another member of the proud Elf race, he was someone with a higher standing which Lee praised herself on her luck in crossing paths with him, she required power to break out of this prison she was in and this baby chick landed straight in her lap, God really must have been slacking off because this man would be the key to releasing an unimaginable being into the world in the very very near future, and he would curse himself for every second for striking a deal with the devil, because everyone knew to never strike a deal with the devil

'Kekekekeke' the evil laughter had spilled out again but this time Lee was able to catch herself before it got out of hand and cleared her throat, returning to the cold detached voice of a child " What I want is neither riches nor a mere power of an ancient treasure. The power that you will give me is not attainable to you yet, what I want is your unrivalled loyalty, I want you Ayase Eldove of the Royal Family of the Eldove Elven tribe to be mine, in body and in soul, in spirit and in power for all eternity!" as she said this the sun rose behind her illuminating her figure, the wind stopped blowing entirely and the chirping morning birds held their breaths, along with the star stuck elf

What Lee didn't notice was that the murderous aura around her had turned into a deep red mixed in with more than 300 colours, her aura had changed into an oppressing force completely different from the bloodlust but had an even more powerful pull, and even more power, unnoticed down on the ground, the sleeping boy's creased face seemed to have relaxed from its previous fearful state, and inside him was a small candle like flame, white in colour, this flame was his soul

It looked the very same as any non-combatants weak soul but the second the red aura coupled with many other colours reached this small flame, like a fire being lit it blazed into a magnificent blazing bonfire, and then an impossible thing happened that had never happened in the history of both Xodale and the Vale

Once you are born your soul is tested, if you are found to possess a powerful soul this determines your family's social status. People with white souls are barely able to be called humans in this world and this boy was one of the trash of Xodale, the only reason he was able to come to this mission was due to the fact that the lord of his little village took a "special" liking to his mother which made him curry favour with the old man and be treated differently from other trash.

But never in the history of this world was there a record of a soul once determined to change in colour, and to change into a very powerful colour to boot

Orange was below the colour Purple but not less powerful, with its fire attributes it was able to tame one of the strongest known weapons known if mastered you could become a powerful and unbeatable being indeed

But at this time no one noticed the changes in the boy's soul except for the ever keen Lee, she couldn't help but be surprised because she had gotten information about this world from other people's minds and knew that it was impossible to change one's soul colour no matter what anyone did, but due to not having a great understanding of the scope of her powers Lee didn't realize that she herself was the one that caused this impossible mutation

"God really must be slacking off if he let me discover such a unique talent among the humans," Lee thought to herself, but in the future, she would discover that instead of gaining one new power that night she had gained two, and this power would gain her another powerful loyal companion

"You... you want me, to serve you?" Ayase asked after he broke out of his dazed state, he could even focus on how the demon knew his full name, all he could do was stare at him in a very cute but confused way

"Yes that is my price for my help, killing this bounty hunter was a very difficult task and it drained my soul energy almost completely!" what Lee didn't add was that even though her soul power had drained a little bit she had fully recovered it with the help of devouring Fin's soul after she killed him. Eating souls of any living thing was how she sustained her hunger because she realized long ago that this body she was in only looked human, she didn't eat normal food like any human though to completely satisfy her hunger she had to eat a strong soul that suited her tastes, and the corrupt soul of the bounty hunter suited her appetite just right

"Surely you aren't serious" yelled the elf "I am a proud member of the royal family and next in line after my bother, I have sworn my loyalty to him and only him, I cannot just-"

"So are you going to go back on your word then?" interrupted the crafty, manipulative fox "I do recall you saying that a proud member of the elven race never goes back on their word. Is this the extent that your word stands for? Can you only fulfil a promise only if the price you have to pay is to your liking? Is this what the Royal family does at the end of the day, make a promise only to break it whenever they please? If that is so then I guess the Bounty Hunter was right about something after all" while saying all these arrows upon arrows pierced then Ayase straight in his heart as his face got darker and darker until you could only see the bottom part of his face

With his eyes hidden a dark shadow, he spoke so quietly that a normal person would never be able to hear but our evil manipulative devil wasn't a normal person was she, but being as crafty as she was she pretended not to be able to hear "What?"

With a sudden yell, the elf looked up and like shining small crystal pearls tears fell from his eyes and a passion-filled look glared and the grinning fox

"Who said I was going back on my word!? My brother is the most handsome, most noble, and most honourable person out there and there is no one who would be able to rival him, so don't you dare insult the tribe that he worked hard to build" as he said this he resembles an angry child it was rather...cute, this brought unexpected tender feelings to arise inside Lee

It was like she finally got the pet she had always wanted but never got to have

"I will serve you as my master because that is what I promised to do you sticking devil, so take it back! take it back this instant!" he continued to rant and rave at the amused looking fox and finally stopped when a small soft body was thrown at him. Ayase clumsily caught the little boy in his arms and couldn't help but wince at his slowly healing wounds, at least for a beast like him it was slow

And looked with tears still in his eyes at the grinning fox, and with an adorable hiccup. "Drop this kid back off with his group, head east and you'll find them there, then the first important task as my subordinate will be to find a certain man... with a peculiar mask."
