16 Complete Group
"What were you students doing in the principal's room?"
Then the trio realized who had interrupted Matthew, two middle-aged Texas Tech teachers, Mr. Scott, who taught the programming course, was about 5'8 ft tall, aged between 50 and 60, a razor fade hairstyle and a lumberjack-style beard with a grizzled tone and round glasses on his face, accompanied by Ms. Campbell, a professor of Software Engineering, who appeared to be 5'6 ft tall, aged 40-50 years and a short red hair that only reached up to the neck.
Matthew then replied to Mr. Scott:
"We came to get a key for a bus, we plan to use it on a journey to Dallas, Mr. Scott."
Mr. Scott then questioned Matthew:
"What makes you think you can get a college bus? This is stealing. "
Matthew then made a gesture that showed that he didn't mind this as he replied:
"Mr. Scott though I'm still showing you a certain courtesy, that doesn't mean that I care what you think, you can report me to the authorities anytime you want, but I doubt they could do, after all they must have more important things to do in this moment, If you doesn't care, I'll let you know the world is changing."
Mr. Scott was then ashamed of Matthew's lack of respect for him, especially in front of Ms. Campbell, as he spoke in a command tone:
"Today's young people no longer have any sense of respect for their elders, come Ms. Campbell, it is not good to be around those rude students, when the government is restored they will show due respect to us again. "
Then Mr. Scott started walking toward the exit, when he noticed that Ms. Campbell wasn't following him and asked her:
"What was Ms. Campbell? Aren't you coming with me? "
Ms. Campbell ignored him as he spoke to Matthew:
"Are you really going to Dallas?"
Matthew surprised at the teacher's question, who was a new teacher in college said:
"Yes, I will, my parents are there and I wonder if they managed to survive the activation of the system and the monsters after this."
Ms. Campbell then became anxious as she asked Matthew:
"Can I join you? I need to get to Dallas, too. "
Mr. Scott was ashamed of what was happening, then he coughed lightly as he pleaded shamelessly:
"Young, you must let us go with you."
Ms. Campbell then turned and said to Mr. Scott:
"I want to go to Dallas because I'd like to see how my little sister is, why do you want to follows us Mr. Scott?"
Mr. Scott then replied:
"I couldn't let a lady go after your sister by herself and although you do not like me, I like you Ms. Campbell."
Mr. Scott then bowed to Matthew, Bethany, and Thobias as he begged:
"Although I would rather leave than accompany you, I can't let Ms. Campbell go alone, so I ask you to accept us in your group."
When Matthew go would refuse both Thobias replied:
"Okay, we can let you join our group, but with two conditions."
Matthew then frowned but let Thobias continue.
Mr. Scott then looked at Thobias as he tried to hide the disgust when he saw that there was a puddle around Thobias' pants and said,
"Please tell me what conditions you have?"
Thobias then replied as he shuffled his glasses:
"The conditions are: we will no longer use honorifics to address you and her and Matthew will be the leader of the group, no matter what he order you will not be discuss with him."
Matthew then questioned Thobias:
"The question about stopping wearing honorifics I understand, it is extremely inconvenient to keep such a communication, but why follow my orders without question and most importantly, why my orders?"
Then Thobias said:
"This is for them to learn as quickly as possible you're the one in command and not them, as to why being you, well because you are our leader is not obvious?"
Mr. Scott, or rather Terry Scott, would refuse, but when he looked back and saw that Julie Campbell still stood firmly sighed inwardly as him answered without giving Matthew the chance to question Thobias again:
"Alright, we accept your terms."
Bethany then stepped forward and said:
"Most importantly, do any of you know how to drive a bus?"
Julie Campbell then replied:
"I don't know, but Terry knows, why? Don't you know how to drive a bus? "
Bethany then replied ironically as she couldn't stop laughing:
"That's right, our brilliant leader here thought of everything, except that someone would need to know how to drive a bus."
Matthew embarrassed began to scratch his nose while saying:
"To begin, I never had a plan, second, now that we have more members will we need more people to act as warriors and protect us, we have any volunteer?"
Julie then said:
"Don't look at me, I'm just a delicate maiden."
Terry replied:
"I'd love to be able to fight, but I'll be driving, so do not consider me as an option."
Thobias didn't respond at all, he simply pointed at the pants and everyone was able to fully understand what he meant.
And then to Matthew's surprise when he thought that only he would take care of the protection of the group Bethany advanced and said:
"Well, although I probably will not be able to do what you do, I want to be able to protect everyone with you, so I offer myself."
