Necromancer Supreme System

Chapter 104: Meeting Ruliv

They knew Oya wasn't strong as Ibro, she was just simply his best friend, his lover if they wanted to be rude. Letting her face the monsters alone was such a suicidal act! So, the commander hurried to deliver the news fast, hoping it would reach the ears of the governor in time, before something bad would happen, and they would be entirely blamed by Ibro when he returned.

"What's wrong? is there an attack over the city? Is the city safe?" his commander hurried to receive him, and the soldier just paused for a second, catching his raced breaths, before hurrying to shout out loud:

"It's an attack, but not against us, it's Oya, Ibro's friend, she is heading outside the city right now, planning to attack the monsters alone and kill them! hurry, hurry and deliver this grave news to the governor, hurry before she killed herself!"

The soldier totally forgot his place and rank, however the commander of his was bewildered by this news, and he hurriedly ran, directly inside the palace, to personally deliver the grave news.

Oya didn't know all the ruckus she caused by her simple, clear-hearted words she said. Once she left the soldiers, she headed directly towards the main gate of the city, marveling at the huge buildings and large towers scattered along the walls.

"If the universal city has such walls and towers, then the mission to conquer it will be extremely hard!"

She was thinking about the long away target, destroying this stronghold of the enemy. She knew Ibro was coming here sooner or later, and she wanted to be just in much use to him.

So, destroying this city had turned to be her main life goal! As she passed through the opened gates, the soldiers standing out there, like the ones receiving Ibro the first moment he came here, said:

"Be careful my lady, outside this line of trees lies the lands of monsters."

Oya glanced at him before smiling as she nodded and headed towards the same direction the soldier just warned her about. "Thank you, I came here just for them."

Her words startled the few, yet strong, soldiers waiting outside. The task of protecting the main city gate was handed only to the elites, and these elites just recognized her, as Ibro's closest friend, knowing her importance.

"My lady, wait!" The soldier then hurried to stop her, however just as he stepp a few meters to the front, a huge shocking scene appeared, making him, everyone else around, soldiers or mere citizens of the city, shook!

"Listen up, go to this line of trees and kill anything you spot!"

Oya summoned ten of her giant skeletons, to appear as towering as the walls and the gate just behind. She glanced back at the walls, measuring the difference between her giant skeletons and these walls before muttering:

"Not big of a difference. My great giants will be able to crush these walls if I have enough numbers of them."

Despite having a huge number of these great giants, she wasn't feeling satisfied. Her enemy was someone amassing the top gears of the game since its beginning, and who knew what else they had as support from the monsters.

Breaking that fort would be as hard as cracking a nutshell with bare teeth!

Ten giants went to the front, acting as a vanguard, testing out things for her. Oya stayed at the back, watching her giants moves, and waiting to see the type of monsters she was dealing with.

As for others, they took quite some time to absorb the shock, before the soldiers hurried to report this to their superiors, and the players here spread inside the city, shouting everywhere:

"A necromancer has appeared!"

This single shout made every single one in the city pause of what they were doing, then they all hurriedly ran towards the city gates and walls, to watch the giants fighting with a group of monsters.

Oya's skeletons' size and weight was enough to shake the ground massively. So when they reached the tree line, many monsters were gathered there, waiting for them.

The moment they stepped past this tree line, a fierce battle erupted! Over a hundred of giant monsters appeared, jumping from the ground, ferociously hacking the skeletons, trying to kill them.

However these skeletons weren't just random ones! Their bones were strong and thick, and they already gained many levels.

"Send the special upgraded ones!" Oya didn't have any change on her face at all, as the next moment of her spoken words, hundreds of giants appeared, but they were much different than the first ones.

These had huge armors covering their chest and back, long huge swords, maces, and spears. Wielding huge heavy thick shields, and wearing scary helmets, pointed from the back, giving them an eerie feeling with their huge skulls.

"Go, kill these monsters!"

Oya's orders reverberated on the whole silent place, except for the shouts of ongoing ferocious battle up front. The addition of all these giants made everyone's scalps numb!

"Hurry, hurry, send a word to the governor. Tell him the big news, tell him the biggest news, hurry!" one of the captains reached this place and watched this epic scene. He then gave the orders to his soldiers, who were jolted awake by his shouts and vanished inside the city at once.

They all knew how important these news articles were! They hurried to the inside while Oya's skeletons joined the fight up front. The moment they did, the fight got wider, as more monsters appeared.

However, these new monster reinforcements weren't of much use, as the giant skeletons used their shield to form a defensive line, while the back ones started hacking and killing the monsters, separating them from their incoming help.

In less than half an hour, over a hundred monsters were killed, while five giants were destroyed. Oya never cared about this, as she moved her staff while muttering:

"Death arises!"

The next moment, all the killed monsters were turned into skeletons, taking a few minutes to stand up, roared, before they moved to join the battle upfront.

This simple act of her made everyone standing and watching confirm what they suspected from the beginning. "A necromancer appeared! The prophecy will be fulfilled! The great war that will determine the fate of all humans will erupt soon, in the hands of her!"

Suddenly many voices started citing these words like they were sacred ones. More and more joined, and the whole place turned into a mess of voices, all saying the same phrases over and over again.

Oya heard these voices from far, as she started moving to the front, following the steps of her skeletons. She couldn't make out a single word except that of a prophecy, making her wonder what they were talking about.

As she entered the line of trees, and after testing the strength of these monsters, she didn't have to hold back anymore, calmly giving the order to her system.

"Release the skeletons!"

Suddenly all the regions in front of the city got covered in white colors and piles of bones! Different shaped skeletons appeared, and even flying ones were there. Oya didn't need to give any order to them, as the moment they appeared, the whole world shook, like an apocalypse was going to happen!

"Oh god!"

Many exclamations came from behind, full of shock and admiration. The players stood in their place, watching this epic fighting between Oya's skeletons and these monsters.

As for Oya, she summoned the dragon, jumped over its broad bone on the back, and sat there comfortably. Like a queen, she watched all this fight going on with no emotion at all, like a queen of death!

"Death arise!"

"Death arise!"

"Death arise!"

The other thing she kept doing was summoning more skeletons, adding more to the current chaos. She knew her system didn't summon everything, and this was barely considered one tenth of her real strength, however she didn't object to that. after all she was currently clearing the place here, while creating a safe zone behind.

And her skeletons kept falling, at a lower rate than the monsters. However, her specially upgraded skeletons proved their worth at this moment, making the monsters paralyze in their tracks, not moving forward an inch.

As for the great stretch of land that they covered, at first they were facing a huge resistance from monsters, but later on they managed to kill them all, turning this horrible place to a safe haven.
