Necromancer Supreme System

Chapter 12: Necromancer Vs Demons Decisive Battle - Part 1

The fiend snorted as he didn't reply on Ibro with words, as he raised his hands high as he continued to repeat his spell like a mad man:

'Espanda Meyaito.'

'Espanda Meyaito.'

'Espanda Meyaito.'

.

.

.

'Espanda Meyaito.'

'Espanda Meyaito.'

'Espanda Meyaito.'

The more the fiend used the spell, the more rapid the vortex speeded. After a few minutes, the vortex turned into a true portal, with shadows of huge shaped things appearing vaguely inside it. Ibro knew what was coming now wasn't mere weak demons, but maybe high end demons or even fiends.

The problem he was aware of was this vortex, as it would continue to pour endless streams of reinforcements, a thing that was perfect for an attrition war, but Ibro didn't want to play it like this.

'Can you move that vortex inside my space world?' Ibro suddenly asked his system. He managed to move countless demon gates before into his worlds, but he wasn't sure his system would do that.

'This portal is one of the kind, I can't move it but I can absorb or destroy it,' the system replied after a pause.

Ibro's eyes shone brightly, as he remembered many scenes his system absorbed the energy of demon portals, so he decided if he had the chance he would let his system absorb that colossal portal.

"Be ready to die, foolish Rioneed reincarnation."

The fiend said with viciousness while he muttered his spell for the last time, then he used a third spell:

"Monategy de rolaj."

'Wow, it's a third spell, that fiend is really generous.'

Ibro said that with astonishment, as he gained a lot today from this fiend. His mind memorized this spell for future uses, the portal shook violently causing the whole sky world to tremble. That shook was accompanied by an increasing roar coming from inside that vortex.

'Here they come.'

'Do you want me to summon the skeletons now?' the system asked with concern, while the first wave of the demons appeared. They were flying type demons, with colossal bodies that were no less than the bodies of the ten fiends from before.

'No, let me play with them first, frost bony dragon summon curse.'

Ibro's curses regained their former glory, so each curse he used managed to summon ten thousand dragons at once. He could summon even more, but he didn't use his full power, he was feigning weakness so this fiend would drop his guard.

The key to win this battle wasn't in destroying this vortex, nor killing the huge numbers of these colossal demons, but it was by killing that fiend. Ibro feared he would escape through the vortex, and thus this challenge would never end.

To kill a sneaky snake, you need to lure it out of its safe zone first. Ibro hoped this bastard would take the bait, or else even if he destroyed the vortex, this challenge wouldn't be considered as a win. He wanted to obtain that town in the higher realm, as this would help him a lot in searching for Sefiera.

"Do you think you can stand against the army I prepared for you with your measly summon curses? That's hilarious! See Grotandino, your bet is a loss already, be ready to hand over your territory to me once I have his arrogant head."

The fiend laughed sarcastically while he directed his words to someone inside the vortex. Ibro didn't care about this fiend's tone, as he was interested in this Grotandino. It seemed the demon clan wasn't following a single banner after all.

Ibro wasn't delusional to think he had an ally at the other side of the demon clan, instead he felt some threat coming from this Grotandino. The true fearsome enemy was the one who truly understood you the best, and knew for sure your true capabilities, even what you were trying to hide.

This Grotandino was such an enemy, one that wasn't blinded by arrogance or hatred, a fair enemy that could read Ibro this well was an enemy that he should never underestimate.

Throughout this, Ibro didn't stop using his curse for even a second. Each passing second he managed to add ten thousand bony dragons to his newly established aerial army, but this army was no match at all to these demons.

Each demon was like a huge flying turtle, with a strange irregular shell on their bodies that could withstand any attacks launched by the dragons. On the other hand, the dragons were easily killed by the long range beaming attacks coming from snakes like the heads of these demons.

The fiend was laughing hysterically on this, while Ibro continued to use his curses without any stress.

'Relay my words, the weakness of these demons lies in their inability to attack at short distances.'

Ibro muttered to his system once he noticed this paradox at the demon's battle with his dragons. Some of the dragons managed to slip through the heavy long range attacks, and while they neared these demons, the demons didn't try to attack them even once.

It was as if the demons couldn't even perceive their existence at all. When the dragons reached the huge bodies of these demons, they started to attack the soft abdominal parts of the demons.

Their attacks were effective, as they managed to slain many demons this way. Although there was success done by a small number of dragons, this didn't affect the total course of the war. The dragons were falling at a rapid rate, nearly closing the rate of summoning them.

After the appearance of the numbers of flying demons, the ground demons appeared. They were mixed regimes of werewolves like demons, snakes like demons, rhinoceros like demons, and tigers like demons.

They all shared the same feature in them, they had small bodies, much smaller than the usual demons Ibro saw before, and this came with very high agility and speed.

'Do you want me to summon the skeletons now?' the system asked with worries, as the numbers of these demons were increasing exponentially without stop. Ibro didn't reply to it, as he was watching the actions of that fiend out there with his divine sense.

'The time isn't right, yet. Let me play further, the bony Golams summon curse.'

He wasn't devoid of any defensive curses, as his Golams appeared in huge numbers, to stand between him and the incoming demons.

Ibro used the two curses alternatively, as the aerial fight wasn't as promising as the ground fight. His dragons weren't a match to these flying demons, so he needed to reinforce them and replenish the dead all the time.
