31 Rescue
Sitting around a blazing fire, there were two middle aged men and a middle aged woman watching a chunk of meat roast in the fire as the figure of Cecily laying on the ground unconscious and tied in layers of rope could be seen.
Will's eyes flashed a white light as he started to observe them and the surroundings, he needed to find a way to save her without getting killed by the three kidnappers.
They had to be at least level four melee fighters to take Cecily down, so Will had to proceed with utmost caution.
Will surveyed the area for fifteen minutes, after getting an idea of the surroundings, he pulled out all of his mana stones.
He decided to use a potion to make things easier.
Currently, he has no ingredients, so he has to use pure mental power to formulate a potion, and use the mana stones to take a majority of the difficulty out of it.
After an hour passed, the group just finished eating and started to have a conversation, Will figured it was about what they should do next.
He continued to focus on his potion.
He decided to make a poison that will directly attack the nervous system, to either cause paralysis, if not, it will make their movements sluggish.
While making the potion, his mana stones silently cracked and blew away with a gentle breeze and scattered in the distance.
His mental power was depleted by 90%
The poison that he made, would have no effect on those at the sacred level or above, because Will's current strength isn't at a level that allows him to harm those at the sacred level yet.
Although he doesn't know what his potion cannot do, he only knows what it can do.
As he watched the group of three talk, he made some plans as he clenched his fist tightly.
The effects of the potion would only last three minutes.
Considering the duration of the potion, he would have to rush in and out, killing the three and saving Cecily.
Will opened the potion and tipped the bottle over onto the ground, upwind from where the group was, as the potion spread downwind, Will waited patiently.
It didn't take that long for the potion to take effect, the three stumbled up onto their feet as they raised their guards and observed the surroundings.
Although at the distance he was at he couldn't hear what they were saying, he could tell that one of the larger guys was swearing profusely.
'Looks like it's time to take action'
Flexing his leg muscles, his legs swelled to almost twice their size as the ground beneath his feet started to crack.
With a sound similar to a crack of thunder, Will arrived in between the three kidnappers.
When the three noticed his arrival, many emotions were present on their faces, rage, confusion, and despair.
The bigger one of the three ran over clumsily as he let out a roar laced with killing intent, his shadow growing in size with the help of the flickering flames made it seem as if a giant was charging at Will.
The man's eyes developed a crazed expression as the muscles and veins on his arms bulged, it only took a blink of an eye for the man to appear in front of Will.
The other two were effected much worse than the bigger guy, as they struggled to make heads or tails of the situation while preparing to battle.
Will has long since charged his muscle power in his arms before the man appeared in front of him, seeing the fist growing increasingly larger in his vision, he smacked outwards with the palm of his hand, exhausting his right arm of it's power.
A sound similar to a firing cannon shocked the surroundings as the mans arm sprayed blood in the surroundings as fragments of his bone stuck through his mangled flesh.
In normal situations he would only be able to flee if he encountered a level four melee fighter, but with the help of the poison attacking their nervous systems, they couldn't muster more than half of their power.
They were practically unable to use their mana to boost their strength with their severely uncoordinated minds.
So their strength was severely limited.
Although the defensive abilities of their bodies would remain unchanged.
As the man screamed in pain, his eyes became even more crazed as his flesh squeezed closed around the fragments of bone, stopping any further bleeding.
The time it took for him to do this, already allowed Will enough time to fall to the ground and spring upwards.
The bound Cecily could only stare with wide opened eyes as she analyzed the poison that was attacking her body, not afraid in the slightest as she noticed it was slowly weakening as time passed.
She knew he took her into consideration, and didn't do anything permanent.
As Will flew off of the ground and punched out with his left fist, the man swung his unharmed left arm like an axe into Will's side.
Will's fist connected with the man's jaw, just before the man's arm collided with Will's side.
The impact sent Will flying outwards as he slid several meters across the ground.
The middle aged woman and the other man, finally recovered enough to recognize the exact situation, and charged at him.
As the moon slowly rose up into the sky, the shadows that flourished at night swallowed up the earth, causing the area around the fire to appear as if it was a sacred ground defending against a hoard of demons.
Will stood up and started to charge his muscle power in his body, although he felt a nerve wracking pain, the impact to his side helped him accumulate more power.
As the two charged at him, the bigger guy fell to the ground with a quiet thud as blood trickled from his eyes and his ears.
Looking at Will's already damaged hand, you could see that the bones on his left fist were clearly visible, as blood dripped from the exposed flesh.
With his reinforced defense, and his built up muscle power, one could only imagine the force needed to blow the flesh off of his knuckles.
Before the two could draw their weapons, Will's body expanded slightly in size then decreased leaving his arms to swell even more.
He sent all the accumulated power to his arms.
Before the two could even attack properly, his fists already collided with their solar plexus, causing their lungs and part of their stomachs to explode.
With the sudden internal damage, their attacks lost almost all of their power as they vomited mouthfuls of blood and collapsed onto the ground to die a slow death.
Will could only shudder as he sighed in relief.
This was his first time actually fighting other humans.
Although he felt disturbed seeing their deaths, he felt a little.
Well he felt a little excited after dealing finishing blows to his enemies, like he was meant to kill.
He shook his head as severe pain came from his arms, causing his vision to start to darken.
His arms, although still in good shape, were torn in several places as well as his knuckles lacking in flesh.
If he were to have used more power, his arms might have exploded.
The night started to end as he undid the ropes restraining Cecily, as they fell off of her, they let off a pale gold glow.
They seemed to be a magical treasure of sorts.
As the trees in the distance waved in the wind rustling their leaves, Cecily made Will sit down as she started to help him fix his arms.
The night ended as she explained the reason behind the kidnapping.
