I Will Conquer The World!

Chapter 13: Personality Scope?!

Harry asked the system, "Hey system what is the personality scope? Does it tell me about my personality and how to correct problems in it?"

[No host, even if that was the case, the scope would just show that your whole personality would have to be altered.]

Then a victorious laugh rang out in Harry's head.

The system really reminded him of a little girl. I mean, it, my mistake, she threw tantrums, and laughed at her own bad jokes.

The system continued speaking,

[Anyway, I wouldn't waste my time making such a useless feature. It's totally basic and not useful at all. A whole new button all for seeing what your personality is? Nah.]

Harry grinned and said, "But isn't stats useless too? I mean, a whole button in the main screen for just seeing your stats?"

[N- No! That's t- totally untrue! Stats are useful! You need to know your stats! Not your personality!]

Harry was slightly shocked at the system stuttering. Wasn't the system acting too human?

The system didn't bother to reply to it's host's doubts and remained silent. Harry didn't bother to continue pursuing the topic and an awkward silence hung between them before the system broke the silence by saying,

[We completely diverted off topic, Host. I'll explain what the 'Personality Scope' does. It shows you the feelings a person has for you, and their base characteristics.]

Harry paused mid step and stared blankly at the system's interface. He then asked with excitement, "I can see the feelings a person has for me, and their base characteristics?! How do I do it?! Tell me!"

The system was slightly surprised by the sudden burst of excitement her host had and said,

[Calm down host. All you have to do is say, 'Scope On', and it'll stay active until and unless you say, 'Scope Off', it will show you the base characteristics of that person and the feelings a person has for you.]

Harry started sprinting to the castle, not bothering about Hamilton. Hamilton started running the best he could, but he could not keep up with the energetic young king and ended up walking slowly, lagging way behind.

The old advisor could still not wrap his head around what happened.

His reaction to John's question and Harry's answer to it was slightly funny. He didn't understand what John was talking about, or why he was addressing the king he was previously wanting to spite, 'Your Highness', with immense respect.

And Harry's response about not having to pay any price totally baffled him. The only thing the king did was stab John! He god damn stabbed him! Why the hell would John give the king a reward for that?! Of Course, unless a good beating counted as a reward.

He decided to not think about it much, as his old brain could not comprehend the mysterious scene that had happened. Well anyway, it seemed like it ended well didn't it? John did not seem to have any of his previous bias against Harry and only had a new found respect for him.

Their dialogues just occupied too much of his attention. He didn't bother to think about how the rumored 'weak and fragile' prince had become inhumanely strong, or just how John had quickly recovered from a stab in the neck.

It was a widely known fact that the prince was extremely weak and fragile, and was also kind of meek.
