Chapter 133 - Old Love
Chapter 133 Old Love
While Jocelyn was amused by Eliza’s excitement, a warm feeling welled up in her heart.
“What’s there to say? It’s exactly like what I told you in the message I sent you.” Jocelyn sat opposite Eliza.
After taking a sip of the iced coffee, she felt a refreshing feeling emanating from her body, making her squint happily. “It’s different. I want to hear you say it. And I want to hear the details.” At Eliza’s request, Jocelyn paused for a moment and started talking.
Because Eliza warned everyone and the way Jocelyn behaved, the rumors about Jocelyn gradually died down.
No one wanted to mess with Eliza, the rich crazy bitch, and no one wanted to mess with Jocelyn, the woman who would attack at the drop of a hat.
People gossiped because they wanted to kill time, but they did not want to cause trouble for themselves, so Maria’s plan fell flat again.
Those rumors disappeared in less than half a day.
At the same time, Aren and Diana were also sitting in the cafe like Jocelyn.
“Long time no see. How have you been recently?” Diana was wearing a long white dress. Her golden hair was braided into a long braid that hung down to her chest.
In fact, Diana looked better in bright colors, but before leaving the house, she still chose such a simple dress. Even her favorite red lips were changed to a faint fleshy pink.
Her simple dress and the smile on her lips made her look like a goddess that had walked out of the moon. From the moment she entered the cafe, she attracted the attention of everyone.
Many men were tempted to approach Diana and asked for her phone number, but unfortunately, Aren appeared. He looked strikingly handsome in a simple gray suit.
In an instant, Diana and Aren became the center of attention of the entire cafe.
Diana stirred the coffee in front of her and waited for Arun to answer. Her gaze was like a breeze in the summer when it landed on Aren.
No matter how much time had passed, no matter how many men she met overseas, Aren was always the most outstanding man she had seen.
It was not that no men had pursued her overseas over the years, but whenever she thought of Aren, she could not bring herself to accept them.
If there was really one person in the world that made her want to grow old with him, that person must be Aren.
So for her own happiness, as long as Aren did not start a family or get married, she would not give up easily.
Although it was not good to do this and she felt sorry for the girl named Jocelyn, she knew she had to for the sake of the rest of her life.
She couldn’t give her happiness and her lover to Jocelyn, but she was willing to compensate Jocelyn. She would give her enough money so that Jocelyn could live the rest of her life happily. Seeing that Aren was sitting in front of her but did not speak, Diana asked, “Why didn’t you answer me? Have you already forgotten about
me?”
“No,” Aren finally said.
The answer made Diana smile in delight.
“I ordered you something you used to like, I don’t know if my memory still serves me tho.”
Diana looked at Aren with anticipation. Under such a gaze, Aren could not say no. He picked up the white coffee cup and took a sip. Brown liquid flowed into his mouth, mixed with bitterness that ordinary people could not accept.
“How is it? Does it still taste like before?” Diana looked at Aren in anticipation, waiting for his opinion and answer.
The taste was indeed the same as before, but his mood while drinking coffee was very different from before. Looking at the brown liquid in the cup, Aren’s heart fluttered.
He did not expect to see Diana so soon. He was even prepared to never see her again.
He was even prepared to let go of their relationship back then, but why did she appear now?
“Didn’t you want to pursue your music dream? Why didn’t you continue to stay in Vienna?”
Aren didn’t answer Diana’s question, but instead asked what he wanted to know. He wanted to hear an answer from her.
