Back in the Heaven and Earth Sect, all greatest nine sects have teamed up. Wars frequency has increased too and Master Gods are involving themselves more and more now. Two of such Master Gods are headache for Endless Mainland. One is Necromancer Master God who resurrects all fallen disciples even from Endless Mainland to strengthen forces of Moon Shadow Mainland and another one was Nightmare Master God who causes silent deaths wherever he personally invades. He is personally not strong but his mysterious ability of invoking sleep and dreams on disciples and then strangling them to death, is the real headache for Endless Mainland Forces. Not only this he can make dreamland like original and confuse the Endless Mainland disciples to mistake Moon Shadow Mainland troops as allies and his own side as enemy. But when their dream gets over its always too late to regret.

Geng Yangtian's arm was damaged by Death Qi of necromancer too. Lin Fan arrived there recently and on noticing the arm he immediately helped Geng Yangtian and dissipated that Death Qi with his new strength attained after slaying 5 Master Gods. After getting his arm healed, Even Geng Yangtian was surprised to see the cultivation base of Lin Fan now. Lin Fan presented the arm of Buddha Lord to Geng Yangtian. And the Old Master monks sealed there greeted Geng Yangtian as they really knew each other and were not lying to Lin Fan earlier claiming to be on Endless Mainland side.

They praised Geng Yangtian for raising a strong disciple like Lin Fan too. After seeing that there is no danger from these monks he unsealed them from the hand of Buddha Lord. Then they started revealing deeds of Buddha Lord who arrived at their Good and Evil Buddha Sect saying that he has walked on way of Evil Buddha and wants to repent and thus earning trust of old masters of the sect. But later he betrayed them and sealed them in his palm in his search for Dao of Heavenly Lord. It was not a problem if he reached Heavenly Lord State but due to some reason (maybe he is righteous buddha who voluntarily fell to evil side), he will be able to control destiny and future of anybody if he reaches heavenly Lord state and that's what monks are afraid of and thus can't let him achieve dao of Heavenly Lord at any cost.

Geng Yangtian told monks about situation of war and discussed with Monks and found that Buddhist techniques can help against necromancer ways and even against nightmare god. So they decided to help disciples from evil techniques of the two troublesome Master Gods.

Meanwhile Buddha Lord was taken to an mysterious place by Black Robed person. This place is where Evil Disciples were detained by Good and Evil Buddha Sect. Some people were able to resist Evil ways here and became righteous and some walked even further towards evil here and end up dissipating and turning into angry wills or spirits of those Buddhas. Black robed person pointed to some secret place here and told Buddha Lord to go there. There was a pool containing innumerable evil spirits like Unlimited Buddha King, Evil Buddha King, Scarlet Buddha King etc. Only problem here is that it is suppressed by a Supreme Buddha Lord's will. Now if Boundless Future Buddha Lord can control this pool then he can easily achieve Heavenly Lord Dao. After informing Buddha Lord, Black Robed Person vanishes in thin air.

Lin Fan along with Buddha Ancestors arrived at battlefield where Nightmare God and Necromancer God were causing havoc and all disciples were in trance there by the daydream spell of Nightmare God. But Buddha Ancestor chanted a Buddhist spell to bring them back from dreams. Lin Fan helped those disciples recover their injuries so they can battle again. Then Buddha Ancestor created beads imbued with Buddhist Incantations and merged them in the bodies of all disciples so they can resist all dream spells automatically. Nightmare God was angry at this but Necromancer God sneered and casted a spell to summon a huge hand made from departed souls from endless abyss. But Buddha Ancestor said "Amitabha", and casted another spell to bring back the deceased who were not dead yet completely from those departed souls. Now both gods were planning to retreat towards War Regiment formed by War Master God, after seeing the strength of newly arrived Indigenous Beings. But Lin Fan appeared in front of them and targeted the weaker Nightmare God first and launched his punch (which was rotating like drill) towards him and nightmare god was suppressed by this punch but as counter attack he launched his sleep spell but that was suppressed by system automatically too. Nightmare God seeked help from Necromancer God but he was already scared by the power of this Indigenous Being and thus ignoring Nightmare God's request he escaped into void. But how can he escape, Lin Fan has already sealed the void in the surroundings of the whole battlefield. He crushed the nucleus of Nightmare God and then aimed for Necromancer God. Lin Fan started playing a game with Necromancer and unsealed the void himself and started refining a new artifact in his Heaven and Earth Smelt. Necromancer finding this opportunity started escaping, but Lin Fan kept his eyes on him calculating the distance. Soon the product in smelt was finished and he used it to stab escaping Necromancer God. Necromancer God was surprised to see that he is stabbed from 5 kilometers distance????? Then he saw a five kilometers long broadsword piercing his body. Lin Fan was smiling satisfied with his new artifact. Experience sound alerted him and he was satisfied on killing two more Master Gods.

Now he was probably only one kill away to reach the boundary before Heavenly Lord cultivation state. But the remaining Master Gods also should not be weaklings anymore. After calculating various stuff, he left with Buddha Ancestor towards Heaven and Earth Sect. Several days passed but the days were peaceful. Moon Shadow Mainland has not attempted any more invasions. Lin Fan himself went to investigate the matter but couldn't find any Master God at all as if they have disappeared in thin air on their own. Lin Fan returned to discuss with Geng Yangtian and they thought of one possibility that Moon Shadow Mainland is accumulating more power and will directly launch a huge scale invasion rather than small skirmishes of past.

Back in Heaven and Earth Sect, Supreme Old Masters of all nine sects have joined hands together. Even an enemy of Heaven and Earth Sect named as Kunlun Sect is not exception who was thoroughly humiliated by Lin Fan in past. But at time of crisis everyone is trusting each other. Disciples have gone lazy (who were divided in small groups for patrolling purposes) now waiting for the invasion from Moon Shadow Mainland. They think that enemies are scared from them now, after losing so many Master Gods in hands of their senior brother Lin Fan. However powerhouses like Old Masters of Sects knew that this is just calm before the storm.

And as expected on one calm day there was some activity from Death Ocean around Endless Mainland and disciples tried reporting that Moon Shadow Mainland is attacking, however before they can report they were surrounded by endless Moon Shadow Mainland creatures..... This invasion was led by various Master Gods. Even Frost Goddess has arrived for her revenge against Lin Fan. Even the weapons of all soldier creatures were refined with gold metallurgy which enhanced them several folds. Old Masters tried using their divine sense to inform sect about invasion but their divine senses were crushed along with them too by the Master Gods. War Master God also arrived and slayed one Old Master. Invasion was so well planned that there was no margin to counter attack Moon Shadow Mainland forces at all. A new weapon refined by Gold Metallurgy, 'Primal Chaos God Artillery' was unleashed too. There were 10 of such artillery. KABOOOOM... Wherever the shots from those artillery landed chaos erupted and heaven and earth shook and all living beings caught under impact radius were reduced to dust. These artillery displayed nice fireworks in eyes of invading Master Gods and they were very satisfied with its performance.

Lin fan's senses were sharper than Geng Yangtian so he noticed that something is wrong. Soon many sect masters and old masters were alerted. But various sects in other parts were not aware about this and they were vanishing one after another even if its protected by Old Master level powerhouse, under the impact of those artillery. Even Lin Fan found the impact from those cannons to be terrifying.

Soon another round of cannons fired and this time target was Heaven and Earth sect. Lin Fan immediately brought out his Heaven and Earth Smelt and enlarged it to take the cannon shots head on to save the sect. However still there was lots of destruction that happened just with the shock waves generated with collision of Smelt and Cannons.

After a month, back on Moon Shadow Mainland side a general reported that 1/10th of Endless Mainland is already destroyed under the Primal Chaos God Artillery bombardments. Numerous Master Gods started laughing with excitement from this news.

The situation was grave for Endless Mainland, even causing worried expression on the normally happy face of Lin Fan. Endless Mainland was left with 93 Peak Immortal King powerhouses and 20 of them are newly promoted Immortal Kings that are incapable of fighting the Master Gods. So it can be said that only 73 people are left in Endless mainland side. That's why Geng Yangtian issued order for ordinary disciples and even newly promoted Immortal Kings to retreat from Death Ocean that were still guarding the borders. But Han Juntian resisted saying that he is sect leader so how can he watch his land conquered by foreigners??? But Lin Fan convinced him by saying that his power is weak and he will instead become burden on Endless mainland's side, but however if Han Juntian can help protect other weak disciples then its better option and will reduce casualties on Endless mainland side. Geng Yangtian also told Han Juntian that if he retreats then even if Endless Continent falls today they will have their bloodline saved in form of the surviving Disciples of various sects from Endless Mainland. Han Juntian finally agreed for this and led the disciples for retreat. Qiu Zhanyu and Jin Zhengu who called Lin Fan their boss, were ordered to accompany Han Juntian and help them in retreating too. It was lucky that Lin Fan earlier slayed many Master Gods in past or if it was combined 72 Master Gods invasion this time then their side would have been reduced to dust within few days. Lin Fan instructed everybody remaining to bring out all artifacts and weapons they have to upgrade them through Heaven and Earth Smelt. They had 3 days remaining before the invading armies reach their camp. But to his disappointment he can't refine even a single legendary weapon from so much material and weapons. Then he handed over upgraded immortal weapons to the Old Masters of various sects. After that he refined countless pills through his pill fire. Everybody was surprised seeing the hidden abilities of Lin Fan.

Lin Fan who was unsure of victory in the upcoming war was remembering his wife and friends that are in another universe behind a very strong gate. He was happy that at least they will survive even if he falls today.

[He recalled a flashback of photographs of his wives in bikini that came from nowhere earlier to him but still he didn't knew that Stonexia was on his side actually. He even forgot the appearance of Stonexia in the tower of Truth Immortal King due to mental pressure in these troubled times. Otherwise just seeking help from Stonexia was enough to counter the upcoming threat. Stonexia was watching all this but didn't interfered or otherwise it will be boring for this MC. And he was enjoying the story of this cosmos very much too.]

The two biggest problem for Lin Fan currently is disappearance of Boundless Future Buddha Lord and the Frost Goddess which easily recovered her Godly nucleus in such short time, which was earlier damaged by Lin Fan through forcibly violating the pledge of the Frost Goddess. Geng Yangtian consoled him saying "Do what you can" Lin Fan nodded and decided to take many Master Gods to grave along with him if he has to die, especially the most formidable ones like War God and Frost Goddess. Finally 3 days were over, and Lin Fan can see hordes of pitch black armies invading at their doors. They were having 61 master gods at their side. Lin Fan launched his unparalleled sword intent towards one of the massive creature in the opponents forces, but it was obstructed by ice walls created by the Frost Goddess before it can slay the massive creature, however sword intent was strong and those walls were cut through and slayed various creatures on Moon Shadow Mainland side. Lin Fan was happy to see a dip in strength of Frost Goddess maybe its due to injury on her Godly nucleus back then. Frost Goddess got angry by this. Then Lin Fan instructed Geng Yangtian to concentrate on weaker master gods and he will be dealing with Frost Goddess and War God who are on par with Buddha Lord currently. Lin Fan started flaming Frost Goddess through war of words and humiliated her by reminding how he slayed 11 gods all alone in past. War of words was just excuse as during this he came at distance of 5 km from one of the Master God named as Hell Master God and launched his broad sword attack and stabbed him to death instantly. Frost Lord was flaming in anger now with this man. Earlier he has killed her junior sister Water Goddess and now he has slayed 12 other gods too and one of them fell right in front of her eyes. Not only this she was earlier tricked by her own pledge by this despicable fella. But as her mind was blinded in rage, Lin Fan launched his doomsday fist towards her and then trapped her in void. Although it can temporarily resist attacks of Frost Goddess but that time is enough for Lin Fan to help other Old Masters in the ongoing battle.

Old Masters were fighting with other Master Gods. To help them Lin Fan unleashed spirit of Biggra in the air. Although its not effective on them but at least they have to struggle to save themselves from the effect of Biggra which may give advantage to Old Masters. Lin Fan unleashed his Ancient Demon City as well to aid Endless Mainland side. Earlier Ancient Demon was usually unleashed for dirty purposes only to vent lusty feelings from the Biggra's effects on/from opponents (sometimes he pins down weak opponents and on other times he was also pinned down by stronger opponents in past) but this time its genuine battle. He can slaughter as much as he want today. He was very happy and roared in excitement and started massacring opponents creatures.

After this Lin Fan held his Legendary Brick in one hand and Eternal Axe another legendary weapon in other hand and launched his attacks on War God. War God is weaker than Frost Goddess so annihilating him first will be be fortunate for Endless Mainland side. War God launched four horse like steed mounts for his defense against might of Eternal Axe but was suppressed as his mounts were instantly chopped by Eternal Axe. Frost Goddess simultaneously launched a Frost Cone (maybe Icecream cone like stuff) towards Lin Fan. Now War God was facing Eternal Axe's intent and Frost Cone was attacking Lin Fan which he blocked by entering in his Heaven and Earth Smelt together with War God who was busy defending himself from Eternal Axe intent. Frost Goddess was surprised by the disappearance of both of them.

Inside the smelt, War God was surprised too and asked "Which place is this?" Lin Fan replied, "This is hell". And he refined War God after that along side himself. This was torturing him mentally very much but he has no other means to destroy two Master Gods simultaneously that's why he has to resort to this suicidal method. Bodies of both of them had melted after long time of refining and reduced to heads only. At this time War God warned that this is mutual destruction as he was unaware about the ace of Lin Fan. At this moment Lin Fan unleashed Mythical Parasol Tree's life force and recovered himself and then trampled on the head of the War God killing him and receiving experience points. Then he came out from Heaven and Earth Smelt to confront Frost Goddess. As long as she is down rest of the Gods can be easily dealt with. She was surprised by disappearance of War God and on noticing this Lin Fan replied her that "He's dead." She got enraged and finally these two titans clashed with each other shaking heaven and earth with their super strengths.

Even Han Juntian who was very far from the battlefield notice the shock waves generated by the collision of these two titans. He wanted to go back to help but was bound by duty to help disciples in their retreat.

Lin Fan was injured in the battle with Frost Goddess. It was thanks to his peak Immortal King body which is helping him otherwise if he was even a little bit weaker he can't resist the super cold attacks from the Goddess. A painful shriek echoed in battlefield and Lin Fan noticed that the Kunlun Old Master was being burnt by a flame which was an attack from Flame master God. Geng yangtian tried to help him but he was helpless in extinguishing the mighty flame of Flame God. Lin Fan wanted to help too but Frost Goddess restrained him. At that moment Bai Sheng, old master of Kunlun Sect stopped Geng Yangtian from rescuing him and instead suggested that both of them should focus on taking down Flame God itself. Then he attacked Flame God as they have planned. Bai Sheng aura was getting weaker and weaker as the fight was going on. Suddenly flame lord pierced the body of Bai Sheng further with his hand. Bai Sheng looked towards Geng Yangtian and told him that he owes Kunlun Sect now and should look after his sect after his death. Then he self destructed in attempt to take down Flame God along with himself. Entire time and space collapsed with the explosion of peak Immortal King but Flame God still survived and was floating in void with his half broken body. But Geng yangtian attacked him and killed his remaining body. His arm was burned by Flame God before he died. Geng Yangtian guaranteed to heavens, "Bai Sheng, As long as this Old Master lives, Kunlun Sect will remain safe".

Lin Fan and Frost Goddess battle was reaching climax. Lin Fan was not able to find an opportunity to trap Frost Goddess and use his brick. Both sides are suffering heavy casualties. Many Old Masters fell and same situation was with Master Gods who were dying one after another. At this moment Frost Goddess launched a powerful attack, 'City of Cold Frost'. Lin fan raised his vigilance against this attack which doesn't seem ordinary at all. Even Frost Goddess was surprised that she was forced to use her ultimate move against Lin Fan.

Actually all these Master Gods were happy in their Moon Shadow Mainland and were peak existence there. But just like Endless mainland powerhouses wanted to break through to Heavenly Lord cultivation, they also want to break through to something beyond Master God cultivation levels like their 'Lord of Primal Chaos' Master God (maybe someone equivalent to heavenly Lord Xinfeng).

City of Cold Frost was floating in sky above battlefield and the freezing temperature was effecting Endless Mainland old masters. Lin Fan warned to stay away from battlefield as they can't held the chilling temperature of this city. Currently there were 20 Old Masters left on Endless mainland side and 13 master gods on Moon Shadow mainland as city of frost has made sculpture out of many old masters. Frost Goddess extracted powers from those sculptures to launch one mightiest attack to finish Lin Fan.

Big Ancient Demon came forward to save his master Lin Fan even if he has to sacrifice himself as he has noticed that his master can't survive the upcoming attack. But if he helps in blocking the attack then the might of the upcoming attack will be reduced and will help Lin Fan survive at least. Everyone around praised this super loyal weapon spirit. Lin Fan was also moved by this and recalled the Ancient Demon City instead. How can he let such loyal subordinate die?? He himself unleashed his full strength this time taking the matter in hand with utmost seriousness. Frost Goddess also unleashed her attack but it was interrupted by a Buddhist palm, which was of course from Boundless Future Buddha Lord, who decided to show himself now claiming that Lin Fan is his prey. Frost Goddess spat mouthful of blood as her godly nucleus started cracking with the mighty palm strike of Buddha Lord. Lin Fan unknowingly caught her when she was falling after this attack. Even Goddess was surprised to see herself being supported by her enemy Lin Fan. Lin Fan was in stupor by seeing the might of Buddha Lord's palm, and was wondering whether Buddha Lord already reached Heavenly Lord Cultivation? Buddha Lord declared, "All ants should bend on their knees in front of this Boundless Future Buddha Lord."

The old master of Good and Evil Buddha exclaims, "You have already become Evil Buddha thoroughly." Buddha Lord tells old master that he will forgive his sins and baptize him under his new powers if he cooperates however Old Master refused to fall in path of Evil.

Meanwhile Lin Fan was holding godly nucleus of Frost Master Goddess and he smashed it as he can feel that there's no way he can compare to the strength of the current Buddha Lord if he doesn't raise his personal strength. Frost Goddess was surprised but what can she do in her injured state? Notification rang up and Lin Fan received experience points. But Lin Fan failed to break through to heavenly lord state by little margin. He locked on other 13 remaining Master Gods. But how can he attack when Buddha Lord is there? Soap Strategy!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But to his surprise Buddha Lord didn't escaped this time and took soap's attack head on.

Although his plan didn't worked like past but still he got enough time to attack remaining 13 master gods. After killing Frost Goddess all these 13 master gods were like ants in front of him. Notification rang out informing him about addition of experience points one by one.....and finally the experience bar was full too.

But he was shocked as no notification came for his raising of cultivation to level of Heavenly Lord???????

By this time Buddha Lord destroyed his legendary Lin brand Soap too. After bragging about destroying legendary soap, Buddha lord told Lin Fan to kneel down and attacked. But what can Lin Fan do in front of such strong enemy especially when his own system has cheated him at such critical moment?

Geng yangtian noticed the helplessness of Lin Fan and told him to run away as they will shield him until their last breath. One of the old master leaped forward in order to block the incoming palm strike of Buddha Lord but he instantly vanished in thin air without showing any resistance towards attack. Everybody was horrified by the strength of this Buddha now. Lin Fan was furious to see another Old Master dying at the hands of Buddha Lord. Lin Fan attacked with his mighty fist but his fist was exploded under the mighty attack of Buddha. He recovered his arm instantly and refused to admit defeat from Buddha Lord.

Buddha Lord got so strong from the power of Evil Buddhas pond. But it was not a free lunch he has to suffer endless pain in order to suppress that pond and residual evil spirits in it to acquire his current power, he was so furious to remember that pain. He ignored that pain and suffered so much mental torture just for one reason and that is to teach this despicable fella a lesson for messing and humiliating him from time to time in past.

Lin Fan was trying to scheme but he knows that IQ of this Buddha Lord is not like other villains of past. Not to mention his strength, even his brains are cunning and smart just like himself. Lin Fan involved Buddha Lord in idle chatter to restore his power and think about some countermeasures against this mighty foe. But Buddha wanted to torment Lin Fan so he targeted Geng Yangtian instead, but Lin Fan sent his Heaven and Earth Smelt to cover all the surviving old masters and Geng yangtian, and took the attack on himself. Now he was lying on the ground covered with his own blood. He was utterly defeated by Buddha Lord as if he is ant. All old masters and Geng Yangtian were worried too. At this time Mythical Parasol Tree voice was heard by Lin Fan, "Master, take care, I want to go for a deep sleep." The Mythical Parasol tree turned into seed and left a huge sphere of strength for his master which recovered the injuries of Lin Fan at visible speed. Buddha Lord was surprised to see the quick recovery too. He launched his attack immediately to save himself from unnecessary troubles that this despicable fella can produce for him if given enough time...

Lin Fan unleashed his Heaven and Earth Scripture together with burning of his vitality or blood essence, which he has never done in past. By this event, one of the hidden artifact in his body from the Saint Devil Peak, "God's Blood" got activated and fused with Heaven and Earth Scripture. The aura of Lin Fan was changing after this fusion.

(This God's Blood was received by him after the annihilation of his very first sect Saint Devil Sect when grand master of the sect sent God Blood along with Lin Fan towards another universe which was cut apart by a heavenly being's sword strike as per the novel.)

Buddha Lord exclaimed "Heavenly Lord Xinfeng?" But soon denies as this was just a divine projection of Heavenly Lord.

Heaven and Earth started cracking. Infinite power erupted from Heaven and Earth Scripture. And a phantom formed in the air which resembled Heavenly Lord Xinfeng. It raised a palm attack that dissipated the incoming strike of Buddha Lord. The collision of these attacks shook heavens and earth.

Lin Fan takes this opportunity to attack, when Buddha Lord was in confusion if the phantom is divine projection or real Xinfeng. Buddha Lord noticed this and stroked in defense which suppressed and injured Lin Fan again. But he was recovering again with the help of Mythical Parasol Tree's leftover Vitality. Heavenly Lord Xinfeng projection helped in suppressing the attack of Buddha Lord to save Lin Fan's life but was not capable of suppressing Buddha Lord himself completely.

Then Xinfeng gaze went to a remote corner and he raised his finger to launch a wave from it. After some time a huge secret place appears in front of the crowd. It was Ancient Saint World with 1000 worlds.

Xinfeng spoke that only after refining origins from all those worlds one can achieve dao of heavenly lord.

Lin Fan was shocked at this. How can he sacrifice all those worlds just for a selfish motive for becoming Heavenly Lord? But Buddha Lord was happy to know this he was not afraid to kill anybody to seek more power. Buddha Lord leaps towards secret world. Lin Fan hurries to intercept Buddha Lord but Heavenly Lord Xinfeng stopped Lin Fan. He covered the Ancient Saint World to save it from Buddha Lord. Lord Xinfeng spoke to Lin Fan, "He's not your final enemy, even if you defeat him, it will all be useless."

Lin Fan stopped immediately and was startled by this claim of Xinfeng.

Even Buddha Lord started laughing, "Defeating me is useless? Is this possible that there is someone more formidable than this Buddha in all heavens and earths?"

But after saying this Buddha Lord himself showed terrible expression as he recalled of one such person (It was not explained at this point in novel that this person is Black robed person or Xinfeng himself).

Xinfeng spoke, "You speak too much, die....."

Xinfeng launched his attack towards speaking with Lin Fan, "I will tie him down, you go there and suppress Buddha Lord with your Heaven and Earth Smelt."

Lin Fan frowned as it was more easy to say, rather than executing this idea. He was rolling his eyes towards this Xinfeng. But this was his final hope too so there's no loss in trying right? Let's go... With the help of Heaven and Earth Scripture even the divine projection of Xinfeng was mighty. Buddha Lord was cursing him in his heart.

Xinfeng raised his finger again. Suddenly a book and pen appears in void. This book showed all the future and past of the Strongest Cosmos (it was all will of this author only actually). The last page of book is shown to Buddha Lord where he fells from skies, in a fight with young man Lin Fan.

"Impossible I can't die, I am strongest?" Buddha Lord went crazy. He thought of avoiding his destiny. Oneself is only an entity that is constructed by somebody. But still he can change his destiny with his current strength.

Actually Buddha Lord was in daze, and soon he saw a fist incoming towards him which was from Lin Fan of course. "You deceived me", exclaimed Buddha Lord on noticing that Xinfeng is trying to trick him. He actually grabbed the incoming hand of Lin Fan and said "All images are false".

Lin Fan immediately cuts off his own arm and sends it in unknown void which was holding 'Legendary Brick'. When the arm reappeared from void, it strikes the head of Buddha Lord from void.

(I can't understand from machine translation but maybe he was killed too after this incident as after this was directly next big villain, without any mention of Buddha Lord anymore.)
