Chapter 22 - He Must Have Entered Through the Back Door!

Chapter 22 He Must Have Entered Through the Back Door!

The young girl before him had an expectant look on her face. She walked around Li Huan, rambling on about something. She was the princess of a race after all. Since signing the summoning contract, it was probably her first time being summoned.

Li Huan gave a few monosyllabic answers, before letting her go back. She was not like Skeleton King, which had come with an Undead Space. If her master wanted her to go back, she had to go back, just like an ordinary Summoned Creature. She could not stay in a hidden space by her master’s side. After Li Huan finished learning the skill, his abilities improved tremendously without question! His team now had a Warrior who could engage in close combat, and an Archer who could take off the enemy’s head from a thousand miles away!

Next, his goal was to quickly get his own Mage Tower and join the Royal Magic Academy! If he intended to enter as a student, it would be a pure waste of time!

After a day of rest, Li Huan rode the carriage that was constantly waiting by his door. He arrived at the entrance of the Royal Magic Academy.

“Eh? Isn’t this the Mage who just arrived in the Imperial City yesterday?”.

“Isn’t it? I heard that as soon as he arrived, a luxurious residence was arranged for him! What’s his background?”

“It was exactly like that! I have news from the grapevine here. He’s actually someone with connections! Everything has been arranged for him! And apparently, after he entered the academy, he went directly to the class with the best resources!”

“Whoa whoa, which official’s son is he again? Seriously! If I had the same level of resources, I’ll have to say, I probably won’t be inferior to him in any way!”.

Voices of doubt and distrust kept ringing in Li Huan’s ears. But those were just the noises of frogs in a well. Why would he be affected by them?

“Look! Look! He’s gone straight to the office! Didn’t even bother to put on an act! He must have gone to look for daddy’s underling!”

That’s right. Of course, Li Huan was different from them. He had gone straight to the office, to apply for the position of a teacher!

“Ah.. this.. becoming a Level 20 Summoner at your age is not bad indeed, but if you want to become a teacher..”

The people in the office looked at each other in dismay.

“I know that my current level isn’t high enough. But you can test me on my experience. Whether I’m qualified or not, you’ll know once you’ve tested me.”

A short while later, with his previous life’s Level 200 experience, Li Huan had answered all of their questions with ease. Next to him, those teachers were really just a bunch of newbies!

From the power advantage of one class over another, to the key ways to level up within each class, to the strengths and weaknesses of different Mage classes in different environments. From the composition of Mage teams, to combos formed across the various classes. He talked about all of them.

The teachers looked at Li Huan as words flowed continuously, all of them shocked.

What was that strange creature before them? That young man.. knew simply too much!

“Fine, fine! Teacher Li Huan! From today onwards, you shall be our colleague! We will arrange an office for you right away!”

30 minutes later, Li Huan was sitting in his own office. He had been assigned to a Mage professor as a teaching assistant.

“Tsk. This is the Imperial City, all right. When I was at Level 20 before, when were things ever this easy?”

Before meeting the professor called Nano, Li Huan randomly picked up an ornament on the table and started playing with it.

Click.

The door in his office opened. Li Huan hurriedly put down the toy in his hand. It was his first day on the job. He couldn’t possibly give the impression that he was immature, right?

In front of him was a beautiful and voluptuous woman. She had what could be described as an overflowing chest, and a multi-faceted personality!

“Professor Nano! I’m your new teaching assistant, Li Huan!”

“Yes, they’ve told me. A Level 20 Summoner at such a young age, and an excellent understanding of the Mage system. Not bad, young man.”

Tsk. The woman in front of him was actually calling him a young man! She did not look much older than him! She wouldn’t be someone with anti-ageing capabilities, who was actually a 60-year-old grandmother, would she?

someo

Li Huan nodded. He took the document that Nano passed to him, and read it while his mind was all over the place. All he wanted to do was to rush to the library! It was the Royal Magic Academy! The place with the largest collection of books in the entire kingdom!

A few days later, Li Huan had time to browse through the books in the library. Whether it was basic magic theory or more profound applications of magic, the standard of the book collection there was way above those in smaller Mage Towers.

And by reading those books, Li Huan had already earned a lot of skill points. High-level books of that sort provided Li Huan with more skill points. Li Huan did not dare to be complacent, and quickly upgraded Mind Control to Level 4.

He also upgraded Archer Summoning to Level 2. He had no choice. Rielle was no ordinary Summoned Creature. She had a mind of her own! If he did not add points to those skills, he would not be able to control her!

“Li? Li? Li!!”

Nano’s voice rang in his ears. Li Huan suddenly realized that he was still in class. That class was about the history of the Summoner class, and the Summoned Creatures at the various levels.

Initially, he was just helping out as an assistant in the class. However, when Nano started talking about Summoned Creatures, his mind could not help but drift off for a moment. It was not until Nano had shouted his name a few times that he returned to reality, and quickly passed the magic tool to

her.

After the class ended, Li Huan was helping Nano to pack up the teaching materials, when a student bounced up to him. “Teacher! It’s me!”

Li Huan looked up. The girl in front of him was actually familiar.

“You’re.. You’re Lana?”

Wasn’t she Lana, the sister of the Dark Council’s big boss? The one whom he had protected previously?

“Teacher! My family has let me go look for my sister!”

“My sister’s name is Orianna! She’s now the youngest member of the Magic Council! You’re so powerful, so you must have heard of her name too!”

Of course he had heard of her. Not only did he know her name, he had even fought with her, a big boss in the later stages! She had been on par with him then! “Eh? You two know each other?”

Nano asked with a smile. Li Huan picked up the packed tools and nodded.

“Orianna is one of the top geniuses in the magic academy! Lana, you’re not too bad either! If I didn’t remember wrongly, you’ll be able to change your class soon, right?”

“Yes, yes! Thank you, Teacher! I’ll definitely work hard!”

Lana nodded her head vigorously and turned to look at Li Huan.
