The elder breathed out heavily, "The dantian you have awakened is the General dantian. Unlike the other dantians that allow cultivation of fire, lightning, wind, ice and water skills and even opening profession paths like alchemy, General dantian doesn't allow it. You will only be able to cultivate normal skills," the elder shook his head.

Su Jun nodded in understanding, 'Even if I can't cultivate those skills, my dantian is still an S-rank dantian.. as for professions, I remember seeing alchemy option in the system, so I am pretty sure I can learn it.. but how does S-rank dantian differ from any other ranked dantians? And even though I can't cultivate fire, lightning, wind, ice and water skills, general dantian must have its own thing.' "Elder, what is the difference between different dantian ranks?"

'It's good that he didn't get discouraged.. but why would he be? He has a dantian with rank so high that the testing stone exploded,' elder thought and said, "Dantian rank determines how fast can a cultivator absorb Qi strands from their surroundings into their dantians. To give you an example, a cultivator with E-rank dantian can absorb one strand of Qi in 1 minute."

Su Jun frowned, '1 minute? And I thought 5 seconds for a single strand was long.. If I had E-rank dantian it would have taken over an hour to awaken the dantian' "What about the characteristics of a General dantian?"

The elder shook his head, "Sorry but General dantian doesn't have any special—," the elder stopped mid-sentence, frowned and mumbled, "Actually I have never heard of a General dantian being higher than an F-rank.." he looked seriously at Su Jun, "Su Jun, stay here, I will return shortly," The elder turned around and walked out of the room, leaving Su Jun all to himself.

Su Jun looked at the open door and then moved his eyes around the room. Not seeing anything interesting, he sat down on the chair behind the table but then spotted a small box under the table. He extended both his hands, took the small box and put it on the table, opened it and inside saw a thin tome. The tome was all torn up and the writing on it was of a language that Su Jun couldn't recognise. He extended his hands and touched the tome but then several lines of text floated up in his head.

Su Jun smiled, 'So I can learn skills just by touching the tomes, I don't even have to read them, that's really convenient' He put the tome back in the box and the box back where he took it from. He collapsed in the chair and stared at the ceiling. A few minutes passed and the elder came back into the room.

"You got yourself comfortable," the elder said with a smile.

Su Jun stood up from the chair and nodded. The elder laughed lightly and walked up to him, "I had a talk with the sect master and I have bad news and good news. I will start from the bad news, I didn't learn anything about the General dantian that I didn't already know. That means it doesn't have any special characteristics that other dantians have. You can only learn normal techniques, you don't have any resistances to any one of the five elements and you can't use any of the five elements. As for the good news, the sect master has given permission for you to enter the main sect but with one condition. You have to win the upcoming outer disciple competition that will take place in 30 days. With your martial talent and dantian rank, you should be able to do it. But you have to cultivate without slacking. You will have to face off against opponents in rank 4 and 5 of the mortal realm."

Su Jun nodded his head, "I understand elder.. Elder, you said that after the elders determine disciples dantians they give recommendations on what skills disciples should cultivate."

The elder nodded, "That's normally the case but not with you. I am going to make a journey to the inner sect and pick out the best skills our sect has to offer. When I return I will contact you via the transmission jade. Expect a call tomorrow noon, don't cultivate during that time."

Su Jun nodded, "I understand, elder."

"You can leave."

"Excuse me, elder," Su Jun said and walked out of the room. The elder closed the door and locked it. Then walked back to the table, sat down on the chair, pulled out the same box that Su Jun pulled out and opened it, took out the tome and sighed, mumbling, "I have finally deciphered the title page, it took me 50 years but I did it.. Body refinement of the great white tiger emperor Raidon, what an overbearing name, I wonder where sect master got such a skill but I doubt I will decipher it fully in my lifetime."

Su Jun returned back to houses but when he did, he didn't see his four friends. He scratched his head and shook his head, 'It's good that they are not here, I need to concentrate on the competition that is a month from now. I need to cultivate and reach the level of at least rank 3 of mortal realm and level 1 of that SSS body strengthening skill' Su Jun nodded inwardly; then walked back into his house, sat down on the bed, closed his eyes and focused on his cultivation skill. Five seconds passed and a message floated up in his head, .

Su Jun opened his eyes, 'I can't stay still anymore and I do need to find out how to get the system points. Since it's an RPG system, I am guessing I need to defeat enemies and complete quests. Since there will be a martial competition then there should be an arena of some sorts as well and if there is an arena, I can probably challenge other disciples of the sect.' He jumped down from his bed and walked out of the room. Stepping outside, he saw that the sun was already setting, 'It's already this late? I hope there are people at the arena,' but before he could walk out a shout came from behind him, "Su Jun," he looked back and saw Yi Ya.

She ran up to him and said with a smile, "Hello, Su Jun."

He replied with a smile of his own, "Hello, Yi Ya. Do you know where is the arena?"

Yi Ya tilted her head and nodded, "I do, don't you?"

Su Jun shook his head, "The elder didn't show me around, he only dragged me into the elder building."

Yi Ya nodded with understanding but then asked, "You want to fight?" she then frowned, "You can't fight yet, you haven't even awakened your dantian yet."

Su Jun smiled, "I already did, can you take me there?"

Yi Ya's nodded as she didn't find anything strange about it as she herself has awakened her dantian when she was 15, "You have awakened your dantian?"

Su Jun nodded, "Will you lead me?"

She nodded, "Alright"

Su Jun smiled and following her, they quickly reached the arena on which two disciples were fighting. Yi Ya pointed her finger slightly to the left of the arena and said, "You see that elder, Su Jun?"

Su Jun moved his eyes and saw an old man with both hands behind his back and nodded.

"You have to talk to him and he will match you up."

"I see," Su Jun said and he alone walked up to the old man while Yi Ya stood in place, waiting for him. He looked at the elder and said, "Elder, I want to fight."

The elder looked at Su Jun and shook his head, "No one of your strength is currently available, return back tomorrow and you will be able to fight." Once the elder finished speaking, the fight on the stage ended as well. Su Jun returned back to Yi Ya and shook his head, "It seems, I won't be able to fight."

"I see, so there isn't anyone of martial mortal rank 1," Yi Ya said.
