"I thought you were smarter than the average cannon fodder, but no. No you were not." Jin said while approaching Vernal and playing around with her weapons.

For every step that Jin made, Vernal would also step back. She knew that this man was way out of her league. Only her leader can possibly stand in front of him without any fear.

"Hmmm....You can have your toys back. Catch!"

Jin throwed both of the crescent-shaped gun-blades back at Vernal. Although it looked like a casual throw, it actually carried some great strength. A sonic boom was created at the throw and a strong gust of wind was blown.

In Verna's perspective, her life flashed before her eyes when he saw the man throw her weapons back at her with explosive speed. She knew that she was done for, there was no way that she could catch it if it flew to her like that, let alone dodge it.

'Ma'am, I'm sorry for dying without your permission.'

With that, Vernal closed her eyes and prepared herself to embrace death. But then.....

*SQUELTCH!*

"AAAAAHHHH!"

Vernal's face distorted into anguish as she screamed in pain. Both of her arms were cleanly cut by the crescent-shaped gun-blades as blood continously flowed out of her missing limbs like a shower.

She began crying in pain as she slumped down to the ground. She couldn't do anything to relieve her pain, so her screams began louder as her blood colored the grass red.

The crescent-shaped gun-blades speedily flew back to Jin like a boomerang and he just casually catched it.

"Too bad you couldn't catch it." The Punisher said as he slowly walked towards the crying Vernal.

Jin arrived at her side and he putted his hands behind his back. He continued to observe the screaming and armless Vernal for a few seconds before finally saying something.

"Painful, is not?"

Verna was in too much pain for her to pay attention to Jin, but he still continued in his speech.

"Bandits like you tend to use your hands to kill and steal. So now, how does it feel to have your hands stolen? Oh, don't worry about being killed though. I won't do that, trust me, I would never do that. Your role in the future can be said to be.....Necessary."

Vernal finally stopped squirming on the ground and she looked up to Jin with a teary but defiant eyes. She still felt intense pain from her missing arms so she gritted her teeth to prevent herself from screaming.

She knew what was going to happen next, so she wanted to appear strong infront of this demon.

"Those eyes....but, I can still see that your not a tough nut to crack." Jin said as crouched down and grabbed Vernal's hair before lifting her up.

Vernal still had her teary defiant eyes as she letted out anguished sounds while gritting her teeth. Jin leaned his face forward and looked at her eyes.

"Now, tell me. Where is your little camp? If you tell me right now, then I'll be.....nicer. And, I'll even relieve you if your pain."

"F-f-f-f...."

Jin raised an eye brow and he brought his face closer, "Sorry, what was that?"

"F-f-f-fuck you...." Verna cursed in a low voice.

Jin's face frowned underneath his mask but he calmly said, "Now, now, that's not nice....Hmmm...Ok then, I'm adding a new condition."

"If you tell me where your little camp is, I won't kill your 'family' members, okay?"

Verna just responded by snorting and spitting a snot on Jin's mask. She would never sell out her family, and she would never believe on this man's promises. She would never reveal their tribe's settlement, especially to a man like him.

"Oh my, now you've done it." Jin said as he took out a handkerchief and wiped the snot off.

'She's more loyal to Raven than I thought.'

He then turned his back at her and walked forward, dragging her as he moved. Vernal letted out sounds of agony as the ground was being dyed with fresh blood.

"What a loyal dog you are little girl, you truly are. But, I have to warn you that dogs die everyday, and you wouldn't want to be one of those dogs now, are we?" Jin said in a calm voice.

Verna was scared, she truly was. But her loyalty to her tribe overwhelmed her fear and strengthened her will.

"G-go to hell, asshole." She said in a moderate but pained voice.

Jin just let out a composed chuckle, "That's what they all say before the screaming starts."

'Hmmm....If you don't tell me, then I'll just find them for myself. I'll kill a good number of them before leaving. I don't really wanna wipe out their tribe, at least for now. And if I meet Raven....Hehe, then I'll test myself on how strong I really am.'

Running....

That was what the bandit was doing.

After being 'saved' by Vernal, he just straight up ran away from the area. That man was too brutal and he would kill people with the most painful of methods.

He valued his life and he doesn't want to experience pain. He was a bandit, he was used into inflicting harm unto others, but he wasn't a fan if the harm was being inflicted to him.

He didn't want anything to deal with that man and he can already guess what happened to Vernal. He would the chills down his spine everytime he thinks about it.

The encounter on the man with a demonic mask made him traumatized, he was scarier than his leader in the methods of killing. That man was deflecting bullets like it was paper and just killed his buddies like they were live stock.

But even though he was running away, he was also going back to the camp. He was going to warn the leader and the others about a powerful man that was hunting their tribe down.

Even though he was a coward, he was still loyal to his tribe. Afterall, they were also a group of people that he saw as his family and he saw that place as his home.

'I have to tell the others! Someone is going to kill us all!'

After minutes of running continously without resting, the bandit was finally able to see the camp from a distance.

He stopped in his tracks and took deep breaths before running towards the wooden gates. There were two guards stationed on top of the gate to keep watch and they saw the running bandit. The first guard saw him and he leaned forward while putting a hand on his forehead.

"Hey, isn't Jerry?"

"Yeah. Wait, they're back already? Where's the others?"

The bandit arrived at the gate and he yelled, "Open up! Hurry up!"

"Wait a minute, where's the others? How come your the only one that came back?" The second guard inquired.

"THEY'RE DEAD OK! DEAD! I was sent to come back here and warn all of you! You know the incident where some of our bro's are disappearing? Its because someone is hunting us! Someone wants to kill us all! Now hurry up! I need to tell the leader!" Jerry yelled.

The two guards looked at each other with a troubled face before opening the gate. Jerry then ran towards Raven's tent while ignoring the weird looks of the other members.

"Leader!" Jerry yelled as he stopped in front of his leader's tent while gasping for breath. The tent in front of him opened and the woman revealed herself.

The woman was wearing shallow cut black and red dress with black shorts underneath. She had a series of beaded necklaces and a belt that carries her weapon's sheath. Her forearms had red armored gauntlets that protrude outwards and black glaces. She wore black mid-thigh high leggings with red splatter patterns and black heels.

It was Raven...

"What is it? Where's Vernal? How come you're the only one that came back?" Raven asked.

"T-hey, they were killed! They're all dead! Ma'am! S-someone is hunting is us down! He w-was a scary man t-that-...."

"Calm down. Tell me everything properly."

"Well you look at that."

Jin found some trails of footprints and ruffled bushes. He speculated that this must be the direction where the running bandit went to.

When that bandit was 'saved' by Vernal, Jin didn't forget to look at the direction where the bandit ran off to. So now he was going the same way and because he found these trails, he knew that he was going in the right direction.

Vernal, who was still being dragged around by her hair, shuddered upon seeing the trails. She cursed Jerry for being a moron a hundred times in her mind.

"Looks like I'm still gonna find your little camp, one way or another."

Jin looked at the disheveled Vernal and he thought, 'A hunter level fighter's vitality is truly amazing.'

Right now her body had burn marks and electrical injuries everywhere. It came from his attempt on 'Electric Torture' for her to reveal the location of the bandit camp.

She was tired and wanted to close her eyes, but the Punisher would deny it. Her body was also becoming pale because of the blood loss from her missing arms.

"Hm?" Jin's ears twitch at hearing the sounds of movements from afar.

[Aura Sense]

'Twenty People, North, All armed and ready....There's someone thats moving so fast.'

"Good news for you lady, your family's come to save you." Jin asked as he let go of her hair.

"No..." Verna groaned. She doesn't want the others to die in Vain. This man was too much of a monster for them, it was impossible to win.

But then.....

A shadow sneak attacked Jin from the side. Jin felt it and he knew that the strike was extremely strong, he couldn't treat it as a cannon fodder's attack, so he gathered a large amount of Aura on his arm and then...

*CLANG!*

The strike was powerful and it produced a strong gust of wind which made Jin move back a little.

"Impressive, You made me take a step back."

He looked at his attacker with a sharp gaze and saw that it was a woman with a long messy black hair. She was wearing a mask that resembled to that of a Grimm, but had four red eye-slits.

"Your not an average cannon fodder, but let me guess.....Your the boss right?"
