13 The Bandits
"Hey boss!" A friendly rougue was waving his hand at the boss. They were in a small bandit camp out of town, their hideout was actually a mine long ago so most of their stuff is below ground. The rest of the camp was surroundet with a wodden barrickade and had a few archer towers to shoot from, it was a very classik bandit camp.
"Hey Joe, how was the hunt?" The boss replied. He was a big and burly man packed with muscle to show off. On his back was a very long and heavy warhammer, that thing could propably crush someones skull in one hit. He also wore chainmail and plate armor, only that he undid the plate armor for convenience and went about in only his chainmail and basic clothing.
"Good boss we caught a bear and a deer. We were pretty lucky!" Joe replied holding the carckas of the deer high up to show his work. His leather armor had a few blood stains but nothing that couldn't be cleaned. On his back there was a long bow and at his waist were two daggers, the classic rogue.
"Bring the prey inside so we can eat soon." Another bandit interrupted them with a big grin. He wore the apparrel of a smith and had a hammer in his right hand. He came from what looks like a smithy.
"Oh Roland your majesty is honoring us with a visit I see." The boss of the group tried to make a joke and failed since no one laughed. Well that was awkward the boss thought.
"Hey boss would you like to come and take a look at what I found while we wait for the food?" Roland the smith asked the boss.
After the boss gave his aproval and they walked towards the smithy they saw something that should not be possible by normal comprehension.
"What is this thing and is it even real?" The boss asked full of bewilderment. What he saw was a sword fully submerged in molten iron in a pot. Apparently the smith was trying to smelt some gear and this is what happened.
"I checked and I think the sword is cool to the touch." Roland replied full of curiosity.
"How can that be even if it could take a little more heat it at least should start heating up right?"
"Yeah I really don't know. I tried everything that I knew of I even let our mage cast a fire ball on it but nothing worked." Roland replied full of dismay.
"Let's talk about this after dinner I can already smell the delicious meal." At the end they decided to postpone their decision on what to do about this.

Meanwhile Farsian had already told Kaiser about their new contract and after searching up and down for their scroll and finding nothing they headed back together, while Narsus was propably fooling around with that woman.
"Hey Farsian did you guys have any luck last night?" a female vampire with the name Joelle asked with a smile.
"No luck we even lost our orriginal target, that Ebenerz guy." Farsian replied a little heart broken.
He actually really liked Joelle but he couldn't tell her because he feared that it would make things awkward between them if she rejekted him or worse accepted him. Would they walk around like a couple and bite in the same human and suck him dry together? Would their lips touch when the human was a dried up corps?
"I see. But don't worry we can always find it later and that Ebenerz guy is as good as dead anyways." Joelle tried to cheer him up a little which made Farsian really happy.
"Joelle we have a new job. I give this one to you go outside the city and check on those bandits see if they are a tough enemy or if they are like lambs to the slaughter."
"Yes Kaiser I will try my best!" Joelle replied while straightening her back and pushing her chest out all that missed would be a salute.
"here take these coins with you to bribe the city guard." Farsian gave her 50 gold coins. It was propably a bit to much but better save than sorry right?
