6 First Contac
"This is Agent 21, I think I spotted something." In the darkness of the night, a shadow was perching on a tree's branch.
"Received. Agent 6 here. What did you see?" A voice replied from the ears of the shadowy person.
The intelligent officers of the army led by Grant Holmes were currently scouting the entire region surrounding the castle to find any settlements or threats that may come their way.
"Five hooded individuals. Green clothing. They seem to be archers. Two daggers on their sides." Agent 6 replied.
"Agent 1 here. I shall notify the leader first. Do not proceed before my order. Follow them unnoticed." Another agent spoke on the ears of Agent 21.
"Notified." Agent 21 replied.
Agent 1 was also perching on a tree in a different location. He touched his ear and started talking.
"Leader, Agent 21 spotted five armed individuals. What should be our next action?" Agent 1 asked.
"Capture them." A voice came to the agent's ear. The voice, of course, belonged to Grant Holmes, Head of Intelligence.
"Permission to inquire. The King's order was to notify him first before proceeding." Agent 1 noticed that this went against what the King said to them.
"Are you questioning me? They might be part of a bandit group that may attack us. The King's order was to notify him if we find a settlement. This is another issue entirely. Whether they are friendly or not, we should first bring them in for questioning before we notify the king. We were almost extinct. Any measures to protect Vathria, I will take." Grant said this with a straight voice but it didn't sound like it for the agent. Only the agents knew how terrifying the Head of Intelligence actually is.
"Notified! I will order the agents to capture them!" Agent 1 affirmed.

The five hooded individuals did not stay in the ground for long. They climbed through the trees with extreme precision and superb acrobatic skills as if they were familiar with the terrain. They moved even more nimbly than the agents. But of course, they had not expected that they were being followed.
As they were moving along the trees, the hooded individual who was at the front of the group turned back to see something. The hooded individual noticed something was amiss. That hooded individual started to say something to the group in a foreign language. The rest of the hooded individuals reached for their daggers and bows. Within a few seconds, every one of them dropped unconscious from the trees before being caught by five agents below them.
"The five hooded individuals have been captured." It was Agent 21.
One of the agents who was carrying a hooded individual noticed something weird from them.h
"Look at their ears!" The agent shouted. Shouting was not something a covert agent would do but he was beyond surprised on what he saw.
"They're...long. Could they be the legendary elves? They exist in this world?" Another agent said after opening the hood of another one.
"It matters not now. They could still be threats. Let's bring them back to the leader." Agent 21 ordered.
A flash of light enveloped everyone and they all disappeared without a trace.

King Adrian was at the feast outside the castle. The King was chatting merrily with the citizens. The atmosphere was festive and everyone was having a great time. They almost forgot that they have just escaped certain doom from the evil forces. In addition, as they were eating food with ingredients fit for a king, every one of them was satisfied.
King Adrian was still wearing a white royal clothing and the crown was still on his head. Seeing a king sitting with a bunch of peasants chatting was a sight to behold.
"I knew you were going to be the King! Little Adrian who used to steal bread from my shop! Hahaha! There was something different about you compared to the other royalties!" A middle-aged man said to the King. He seemed to be drunk.
Braum, who standing next to the King, frowned. That was an incredibly rude thing to say to a King. Bringing up a royalty's past embarrassment was a taboo.
"Braum. It's okay." King Adrian said to Braum in a firm voice.
"*cough* Just for tonight," Braum replied while frowning.
"Old Man. I remember you. Sorry if I was a mischievous kid." King Adrian smiled to the middle-aged man.
"King Adrian! Do you remember me? We used to play together as a kid!" A man also said to the King.
"Steve! It's you! How have you been?" King Adrian spoke in a casual manner to the man.
King Adrian used to tour the capital city by himself and played around with different people. He was only introverted when was up against royalties or the people on the castle. Outside, he was a friendly and sociable person. If one of his siblings saw what was currently happening, they would be extremely surprised as Adrian was always a very quiet kid who played by himself and went to the library often in the castle.
As he was not thought to be a successor to the throne, no one really cared what he was up to. At first, Adrian was not allowed outside the castle grounds but the king ordered the guards to just let him be. Of course, Adrian thought that his adventures outside were unsupervised but in reality, the late king tasked over a hundred intelligent covert agents to follow him around without him noticing.
The feast went on smoothly and achieved the desired effect that King Adrian thought it would have. But suddenly, in the middle of it, an agent appeared right next to the King.
"Your Majesty...." The agent whispered to the King's ear.
"You people did what!?" The King learned of the guests inside his castle right now. Guests that were tied up in an interrogation room.
