Ark materialized and heard the buzzing of a crowd.

Ark sent a glare at Carona, who saw this and smiled.

"Sorry Ark, my hand slipped."

She placed her hand on the handle of he katana.

At this moment, Ark realized. He had fucked up.

He felt the sensation of flying one more time as an excruciating pain tore through his stomach. He saw the world spin once more and blacked out.

A few seconds later, he respawned and did a magnificent dogeza that would have earned the respect of many Japanese husbands.

Carona looked down at the kneeling Ark and let out a smile.

"Hahaha, what are you sorry for?"

Ark's belief of never making a girl angry was once again strengthened. A bunch of other boys also decided to take upon this belief after seeing the cruel deaths of Ark. After this event, Carona had less confessions from boys due to them being scared off by the video of her that was spread after this event was over.

Instructor Reeves let out a satisfied smile.

"Ok, since this fight is now over, lets move on to the next."

After everyone had finished fighting each other, they prepared to listen to the monthly lecture they always receive.

However, right when they were about to start the lecture, a figure materialized with a pale face.

"Stop the combined drill."

A teacher frowned.

"Why? There was no indication of cancelling the drill beforehand. Did something happen?"

The messenger said while his face went whiter than a ghost.

"The... the old headmaster was assassinated."

"WHAT!"

All of the students and teaches let out incredulous looks filled with surprise and shock.

The old headmaster had been a low rank 6 mage. A definite powerhouse.

"Y-Yes. He was assassinated by an unidentifiable organization."

The man paused before continuing.

"Even though the old headmaster was assassinated, the kingdom has provided a new headmaster."

"Already?"

Reeves let out suspicious look.

"How did they already get a replacement?"

"There was a wizard who was vying for the former headmaster's seat but was rejected. However, when the former headmaster died, they sought him out and asked to replace him. And of course, he agreed."

"That... seems very possible."

The man looked very tense and hurried as he continued to speak.

"That's not the point. The point is that the new headmaster wanted to gather every student and teacher in order to give his ceremonial speech."

Reeves and the other teachers instantly turned towards the students with a panicked face.

"Main Auditorium."

"MEET IN THE AUDITORIUM IN FIVE MINUTES! ABSENCE AND TARDINESS WILL NOT BE EXCEPTED UNLESS YOU ARE VERY SICK! THANK YOU AND CLASS IS DISMISSED!"

There was a flurry of log off notifications as all of the students logged off in a panicked manner. James was one of them.

"Hurry up Ark! We're going to be late!"

Ark glanced at James as if he was a primitive monkey.

"Did you forget I can teleport?"

"But still! You can only use it once when you bring other people along!"

"It's ok because I bought a mana crystal."

Fun fact, mana crystals can replenish a persons mana reserves. The pure mana crystals can replenish your mana reserves. Attributed mana crystals replenish the elemental pool that matches the crystals element.

James had a dumb look imprinted on his face.

"So we don't have to worry one bit?"

"Yep."

They watched the other students log out in a hurry while the two of them snickered.

"Look at these plebs that are mass panicking. What a hilarious sight."

"Ahh... if they log out all at once, the servers might crash-"

A magnificently aesthetically sounding robot voice boomed over the virtual reality.

"WARNING! AN OVERLOAD OF SYSTEM ERRORS ARE BEING PROCESSED! SERVERS HAVE SHUT DOWN DUE TO ERROR! PLEASE WAIT UNTIL SERVERS ARE REBOOTED!"

"FU-"

Ark and James just coolly sat on the field like rich heirs while smirking at the terrified students.

"Lol, look at them panicking like headless chickens."

"I told you the servers would crash. It'll probably take about a minute for the servers to reload. They will all be late but we won't."

"Hahaha, god bless teleportation skill."

The two proceeded to calmly wait for the servers to reboot while being surrounded by a bunch of screaming monkeys.
