Volume 11, Chapter 3: Class gathering —- Enna

Even though I said it was an old friend, it was actually someone we knew well.

Along with Aliyah and Oyado, the three of us took a couple of turns and entered into the residential area. Soon, we spotted the secret base that Falan had brought us too in a remote corner.

“I’d say that a haunted house would be more appropriate.”

Aliyah said when she first spotted it.

“Don’t tell me you’re up to no good by bringing us here? Pervert.”

“Your ability to make connections is amazing. You’re on guard against an upright person like me.”

And I made an innocent expression.

“Fine, what’s this place then? A friend? An old lover?”

“Oof, how could an upright and honest person like me have an old lover. All right, enough joking around. Head on in.”

Pushing open the door to the haunted house....ah, I mean the entrance to Falan’s secret hideout. We went straight in, passing through the ruined living room, and went straight to Falan’s underground base through the basement door.

Well, Falan is an old friend of ours, but I actually meant someone else.

Opening the door, sure enough not only was Falan there, but there was another familiar figure as well.

“Yo Enna, does it feel good to skip class?”

That’s right. Now in Falan’s basement there was a girl that we had met before. Falan’s sister, the Momiji’s spy in the Ice Empire——Enna · Momiji.

But just like Falan did, she had changed her last name and was now Enna · Falando.

I have to say, even if you wanted to change your name, didn’t you basically change it to the same thing? Is that fun?

Even worse than that was her identity now.

That’s right. There’s no way you could understand my expression after I saw the name in the class roster. So I specifically went and asked Falan about it, and that’s how we learned she was here.

Although she went and disappeared from school for several months.

“Ah, if it isn’t that guy Fir who almost never does anything. What happened? Do you have the free time to come here today?”

Enna was just as weird as ever but that’s fine. I smiled and replied.

“Naturally I came to see my student that had been absent for several months.”

When she heard that, Enna gave a blank stare. She reached out to point towards Falan, but found that Falan was pointing back at her.

“Me?”

Enna’s face suddenly turned blue.

“How is that possible....Why would I need you as a teacher....”

Although she said that in an arrogant tone, her face betrayed her.

And Falan was right next to her, laughing. Although she was her sister, she was happy to encounter this sort of thing.

Especially after we had told her about our experince in the Abyss. Granted, we had altered the story, saying that I had been abducted into the Abyss and that Aliyah had come and rescued me.

The most important thing is that once she heard that we were back, Yybril came back within a half an hour. She was so happy, it looked like she had won 500w.

Well, Yybril is your friend too, can’t you smile?

Though she agreed immediately when I asked her for help finding Enna. If I had to guess why, it’s almost certainly to see this scene play out.

If you think about it, Falan has a really bad character.

But in any case we got the results that we wanted, and that was to get Enna to come back.

“You tricked me, Big sis!”

“How could I have tricked you? Your mission is to protect the princess and study as an exchange student. You’ve already attacked the Beastmen in the Rupture Mountain Range, so what’s wrong with calling you back?”

Falan’s face betrayed her resentment towards Enna’s lack of growth.

Right, Enna was clearly an officer of the Ice Empire, and except on one point was keeping with the standards of military personnel.

That that issue was....she was too young.

So after a series of boring procedures, the young dark magician girl the army was using ended up being sent to the college to study. Of course, this is partly related to Princess Michelle as protecting the princess is one of her duties.

“But this guy as my teacher? I refuse to acknowledge it.”

“As if I want you as a student.”

I said with disdain.

“If I wanted a loli teacher then I would have Aliyah. If I wanted a loli student then I have Aliyah. Why would I need you?”

With a hard blow, Aliyah hit me right on my waist, but after long battles I was already immune to that sort of attack.

That isn’t to say that my flesh had become harder or anything, but that I can now make tiny ice shields at the location of any close range attacks.

“Do you even have the ability to keep yourself from spouting out weird things?”

Aliyah said with a flushed face.

“It was just to keep things lively....All right then, Basically that’s the way things are. Although it took a while, it’s good to get you back to class.... Ah, right. Do you know anything about the other one that ran out of class to practice like you did?”

I took out the class roster before asking her.

“It looks like it’s....Cornelius Kirk....The heir to the Sword Saint.”

“That bastard....”

historical

Enna shrugged.

“That bastard came to school less and less often and he never seemed to talk to anyone. It felt as if he felt that the world owed him something.”

“Ah, it’s difficult to deal with chunibyos. It probably has something to do with the Sword Saint. The information says that he’s dead. Well, I guess I’ll have to go and ask the person that sold the information.”

“Hey, you. I don’t acknowledge you as my teacher.”

Enna said disapprovingly.

“That’s fine, you’re in the middle of your rebellious phase too. I think your feeling are going to change pretty soon though.”

“What? Why are you so confident of that?”

“Because if you do so....it might be possible for you to get some of the dragon’s hidden treasure.”

In order to deal with children, you need to offer them some candy.
