Chapter 305: The War that Decides the Fate of 'The Bridge' Part 108

"What a truly unexpected situation you've prepared for us, Kayn," Old Mayor George initiated after arriving on top of the Dream Village's wall.

"Do you like it?" Kayn smiles. This was honestly what he expected to happen. Both the main force of the Green Horn City and Assembly of Freedom arriving in the Dream Village. Now, everything is fully set for the grand show.

"Old Chief George, or should I call you now, Old Mayor George," Chief Kylo greeted after stepping on top of the Freedom Fang Brigade's wall.

"Chief Kylo," Old Mayor George looks forward.

"It's Mayor Kylo now,"

"Is that so," Old Mayor George shrugged, as he can't be bothered by it.

"It seems to me that you actually don't recognize my status,"

"You simply proclaimed yourself as Mayor, thus why would I recognize that," Old Mayor George turned around, completely disregarding Chief Kylo. In the past, he would have treated the latter seriously, but that was only because of the Kingmaker. Now that Chief Kylo doesn't have that anymore, he's no different from an old man life him.

Chief Kylo's face started twitching in anger after seeing Old Mayor George's reaction. But because he can't allow himself to be affected as that would affect the morale of his army, he decided to gulp it down and just smile. "We'll see about that later,"

"Have you prepared everything," Old Mayor George looks at Kayn. He was implying about the report he received from Randy not so long ago.

"Wesley," Kayn called out.

Wesley finally showed himself after trying his best to remain low the moment Old Mayor George arrived.

"I've finally meet the infamous Wesley," Old Mayor George greeted.

"Greetings, Old Mayor George," Wesley bowed his head respectfully.

"Rise," Old Mayor George motioned his hand. "Back to the main topic, how many of your men are stationed in their ranks?"

"A quarter,"

"How about your Undead Army?"

"They're in the Freedom City. Once the war begins, I will activate them to lay seige in their headquarters,"

That's right!

Unbeknownst to the Assembly of Freedom, their is actually a hidden army in their headquarters right now, just patiently awaiting the orders from Wesley to finally show themselves.

"How about the preparation inside the Slumbering Forest, is it prepared and ready?" Old Mayor George turns to look at Gilbert, Jude, and Charles.

"It's always been ready," Jude assures while litting up a small fire on the tip of his finger.

"Then let's fly!"

Whooosh!

In the next moment, the sky up above the Dream Village suddenly darken as a large object blocked the sunlight.

As soon as everyone looks up, they instantly saw a flying city blocking the skies up above everyone's heads.

"The Green Horn City?!" Chief Kylo's immediately eyes widened in surprise. He right after understood the the Levitation Scepter that was stolen from him not so long ago was used to bring Old Mayor George's territory in the Slumbering Forest.

"Surprise?" Old Mayor George looks at Chief Kylo with a taunting look on his face.

"But how did it reach here quickly?" Chief Kylo couldn't comprehend. The Green Horn City is basically on the center of 'The Bridge', while the Slumbering Forest is situated at the very edge. Even if they were able to deliver the Levitation Scepter to their territory in a matter of a single day, it would still take months for the Green Horn City to reach this place.

"Unlike you, I have a very wise advisor with me," Old Mayor George looks at Kayn.

"That's what happened when you combine magic and technology,"

Whaaash! historical

Dozens of blue flare erupted out of metal tunnels attached at the back of the flying city, instantaneously pushing the Green Horn City right above the Assembly of Freedom.

"Mana?!" Chief Kylo realized. He understood that those blue flare implies they have burned mana into nothingness inside those metal tunnels. As for where they got that much mana without relying on countless of Mages, it's very clear that they sourced it from mana stones.

As the Green Horn City hovered up above the army of the Assembly of Freedom, multiple shadows promptly started dropping down from the top.

Boom!

Bang!

Blam!

A series of clouds of dust erupted as the figures landed on the ground, consuming dozens of parts in the formation of the Assembly of Freedom and hindering everyone's sight from seeing what is inside.

In the next moment, multitude of bodies started getting thrown out of the clouds of dust, blasting some of the nearby unlucky soldiers away and causing even more casualties in their ranks.

Not long after, the dust started settling down, eventually revealing the identities of the people who brought a sudden disruption to the army of the Assembly of Freedom.

It was Friedrich and the rest of the Green Horn Knights along with the personal Knights of the other allied Chiefs who have now became an extension to the loyal Knights of the Old Mayor George.

"Attack!" A man holding a spear exclaimed loudly.

In an instant, a fight broke out in the middle of the formation of the Assembly of Freedom, bringing in chaos and destruction. More importantly, it finally prompted the beginning of the war between the Green Horn City and Assembly of Freedom.

Whoosh!

Whaaasssh!

Countless of siege machines started launching their long range attack from both sides of the moat.

Boom!

A series of explosions erupted as the clouds of war started covering the territory of the Dream Village.

"Charge!" Old Mayor George exclaimed with his sword raised up high.

In the next second, countless of soldiers jumped down from the walls of the Dream Village and run forth towards the wall of the Freedom Fang Brigade.

Meanwhile, from both the west and the east came the rest of the soldiers of the Green Horn City, like a shear coming to a close at the center, which is where the Assembly of Freedom's entire army is located.
