Chapter 584 - Abolition of the Feud

Chapter 584: Abolition of the Feud

Roxley House, Trinity.

A while ago...

Max stood there entirely speechless as he looked at these people. He had been thinking that only his life had been a drama, but it turned out, it wasn't true.

He really felt himself losing in comparison to these people here. He really started to regret using Melinda a bit now. It seemed she wasn't someone you wanted to mess with.

"You really did that to me?" Roman sighed, looking at Melinda.

"Why? Do you regret it now? I don't think I told you to come after me, did I?" Melinda asked him with a smile on her face.

Roman couldn't retort to that at all. She was right here. It was true that she had acted to make him jealous, but she in no way had forced him to be with her. It was him, who felt jealous and came after her.

If Roman had just ignored her that day, she wouldn't be here today.

"Damn it!!" Roman screamed in anger. It wasn't because he was angry at Melinda or Ander. It was just that he wasn't pleased with this situation. He had been fooled for so long. This really made him grind his teeth in anger.

"Wait! Why don't you tell your wife then? Don't you have fights because of Melinda?" Roman suddenly asked Ander with a frown on his face

"Well, it's fun seeing her act jealous like that." Ander shook his head with laughter.

But, his laughter suddenly came to halt, and his face turned dark. He then slowly turned his head towards Roman and gave him a menacing glare, "Why do you know about it?"

Roman's face twitched.

He knew he had committed a mistake here.

"You b*stard! You have got spies this close to me?!" Ander grabbed Roman's collar with both of his hands and shook him back and forth, "Tell me! Who is it? Which guy is selling me out?!"

"Calm down...I just heard it somewhere.." Roman began to sweat as he tried to calm the person down.

"You think I am a fool!" Ander wasn't going to let it go.

"Enough!" Melinda shouted with a frown. And, the two immediately stopped. "Did you guys forget what we are here for?"

Ander's brows eased a bit, and he unwillingly let go of Ander.

"So, what do you have in mind? How are you going to deal with this situation?" He asked, looking at Melinda.

Melinda looked at Roman, she still insisted on her initial thoughts.

Roman sighed, feeling her gaze. And, finally gave her a nod, "Fine, let's proceed with it."

"Good! Then we will end this pointless feud, and shut Omen for good." Melinda smiled and then finally shifted her gaze to Max.

Max immediately felt being stared by a predator and gulped inwardly.

"What are you going to do?" Roman asked with a frown as he looked at Melinda.

"You are going to help, Aunty, aren't you, Dear?" Melinda smiled at Max, and he could clearly see the shadow of a venomous snake forming behind her.

But, he couldn't possibly back out in the current circumstances. This was very important for the two Houses. Not to mention, he was the one to have started all this mess.

In the end, he forced a smile on his face, and just gave her a nod.

"See, he is such a nice boy. He made things easier for us.." Melinda looked at Roman and Ander with a smile.

It not only left Roman and Ander, but even Max in confusion.

"How?" Roman asked her in confusion.

"Well, he is someone that no one wants to make an enemy of. He has got all the Ancient Families behind him after all." Melinda looked at Max, her lips curled up, "So, what if he tells us to end this feud?"

Roman frowned, "You think people will accept it? Does it make sense for us to listen to a kid?"

"Yes, it does. People will accept as well," Ander said as a smile formed on his face. It seemed he had understood Melinda's plan.

Even Max's expression had started to turn dark at this point. Even he had understood what Melinda was planning here.

Only Roman was the one still looking confused.

"Will someone explain to me?" He looked at them. "Come on, stop smiling and just get out with it."

But, it seemed that none of them were going to tell him.

"It's late now, go and rest. We will need your help tomorrow. Yours as well, Ander." Melinda ignored Roman's pleas which were seeking explanations and proceeded to take the other two out.

....

Max was led towards his room by Melinda while Ander to his own by one of the maids.

But, Ander suddenly stopped mid way, and asked the maid to leave.

He stood there for a while doing nothing. It was really odd. And, when a minute passed, his figure suddenly disappeared.

Soon a lady came to the exact place where Ander had been standing a while ago.

historical

"Where did he go?" Lesia looked around, but couldn't spot him at all. She had been curious as to what Ander had been here for. She still hadn't watched the news broadcast properly. Hence, she wasn't clear about the fake reason for his arrival.

So, if she logically approached the situation, then if he wasn't here for her then it only left one person.

It had to be Melinda.

After all, Ander couldn't possibly be here for Roman.

'Should I check in his room?' Lesia pondered while standing there.

"What do you think you are doing, lady?" A voice suddenly sounded next to her ear, and it frightened her.

She immediately turned around, but was too slow. The person had already grabbed her hands and pinned it onto the wall behind.

The person was Ander of course,

"W-What do you think you are doing?" Lesia still maintained her act. She was really confident in her disguise, it seemed.

"Shouldn't I be the one to ask you that? Why were you following me around?" Ander asked her instead.

"T-That...I just got lost.." Lesia fumbled a bit, but still managed to hold onto it.

"I doubt such a beautiful lady would make such a mistake," Ander said with a smile.

"Don't you have a wife! How dare you say such things to another woman!" Lesia glared at him in anger.

"Well, it's fine as long as she doesn't find it." Ander suddenly went in and gave her a little peck on her lips.

"Come in my room, if you are not satisfied." He then gave her a wink before leaving her there dumbfounded.
