Chapter ?858 Fear
Chapter ?858 Fear
"Calm down already.." Elly spoke with a sigh as she looked at Aria who was walking back forth in the room.
She seemed agitated, and there was a frown on her face.
"Don't you want to do something about this? Doesn't this infuriate you?" Aria asked as she looked at Elly.
"We already have got in touch with the authorities, and informed them about it. They will handle the rest, there is nothing for you to stress about now.." Janet spoke with a troubled look on her face. She knew Aria's character, and this indeed scared her a bit. This girl was really the type to jump into fire.historical
"I think she is right for the first time, let the authorities handle this.." Elly nodded at Janet's words while looking at Aria.
"Hey! What do you mean for the first time?! I am right at most of times!" Janet protested.
Even with their conscious efforts to cheer her up, Aria still continued to envelop the blanket of gloominess.
"Anyway, did you talk about the girl?" Aria asked as she looked at Elly. The little girl actually only had her brother with her. And, now with him dead she was basically left to fend for herself.
That obviously was not possible, and Aria wasn't willing to leave the girl like this. This was where Elly stepped in. It was a very common knowledge that the Lorenz House ran a chain of orphanages throughout all their territories. This was mainly due to two reasons. First, was the Lord's Character. He had lost his sons and this had somehow affected him in raising orphans. Secondly, the City of Vienna had experienced a disaster in the past, and as a result a lot of children had lost their parents.
The Lord had to help these people, and hence the tradition of funding orphanages started. And, now the Lorenz family was one of the biggest houses to support these orphans.
"I have already talked about it. There is no need to worry. When we go back, we will take her along. It's better for her to go into a new environment than staying here," Elly replied with a nod.
"See..everything has been dealt with. There is nothing for you to worry about except for your event. You should focus on that.." Janet said with a smile as she stood up. "Anyway, it's time for dinner. Let's take the little girl for dinner.."
"Yeah..almost forgot about that.." Aria nodded in realisation.
....
"How does it feel, Nyka? Do you want to eat anything in particular?" Janet asked with a sweet smile as she pushed the wheeled chair with the little girl sitting on it. She was still injured after all.
"She has to eat healthy and nutritious food now. I will select it for her.." Elly spoke as she patted the little girl's head with a smile.
"Huh? I hate that.." Janet protested as if she was the one being fed.
Aria smiled as she looked at them while slowly shifting her gaze towards the little girl. She knew her two friends were acting like that to make the little girl smile, and it actually seemed to be working as well.
The little girl who had that dull eyes, and stiff face finally seemed to have a little curl on her lips. This really made Aria feel happy from the bottom of her heart.
"Well, we are here.." Janet spoke as they arrived at the Dining hall.
As soon as they entered the place, it obviously attracted attention. After all, the three of them were not only beautiful but people with extraordinary backgrounds. And, the girl on the wheel chair was definitely something that was making them even more eye-catching, and piquing people's curiosity.
The girls were used to such formal interactions with people. Not to mention, there were acquaintances and friends among this crowd as well. Hence, they took their little time to chat as well.
"Just give us a few minutes, we will be done quick.." Aria stooped low, and whispered to the girl's ear with a smile. After all, there was no way she could turn people around, that would be considered very rude.
"Umn.." The little girl nodded in understanding. It was a little surprising to Aria, but the girl was much more mature than people of her age. But, then it was a little understandable considering the girl didn't have any parents and had lived her life with her brother. The situation must have forced her to mature early.
"How about I take you to the seat first.." Aria said as she excused herself for a second, and pushed the wheelchair to two tables away from them which was free. The place was right in front of her, so she was sure that the girl wouldn't feel scared as they were still right there.
It was a good idea honestly, the girl too didn't seem much comfortable being surrounded by so many people, and stared at her as if she were a strange creature.
"Call me if you need anything, I am right here, ok.." Aria smiled as she patted her head, and turned around to return.
The girl watched Aria walk away and then engage in a conversation with her peers.
"We meet again.." Suddenly, a voice entered the girl's ear, and her entire being seemed to freeze.
A hand suddenly entered her vision followed by a man who grabbed the chair in front of the girl before taking it a seat.
It was bald man with a wide smile on his face. And, this face was very familiar to her.
The little girl's body began to tremble and her eyes began to water in fear at the sight of the man. She tried to open her mouth but no words came out in fear.
"Little Demon, you really thought you were safe? Hahaha..I am just letting you go for now. By the way, those girls who saved you really have nothing to do with you?" The Bald man further asked with a smile.
"..."
"Can't answer?" The Bald man questioned when the girl couldn't even utter a word. "Well, I will find out anyway.."
With that, the man slowly got up to leave.
"Hmmn.." Aria on the other side seemed to notice the man right at that moment as well. And, frowned a little wondering who the person was.
"Excuse me for a moment.." She excused herself from the group, and began to walk toward the table. And, when she got closer her face changed expressions seeing the girl trembling with a frightened look and a teary face.
