Rise of The Anti God

Chapter 105 Damien's Wrath

Mary Di however asked with a polite smile, "Yes Senior Azrael, would you like to bid for this 'item'?"

Damien said in a plain tone, "Yes, I am sure no one can offer a higher price than me."

A middle-aged man spoke up, "Senior, with all due respect—"

But Damien motioned him to shut his mouth with his hand.

The man gulped and didn't speak anymore.

Mary Di chuckled, "And how much would Senior Azrael be bidding?"

"Oh, I wouldn't be the one who is paying."

Mary Di was a bit surprised and asked, "I see, then who would be paying?" She thought that maybe Damien had come with a proxy buyer as there would be some people like that.

"Of course, the ones going to pay," His tone became cold as he continued, "would be you people." He said as he pointed his finger towards the platform.

Before anyone could think or react, they felt the whole hall shaking as flakes of cement fell from the roof.

*BOOM*

"AIEEEEE"

"WAAAAA..."

People screamed as the roof of the hall came crumbling down and immense pressure fell upon everyone on the platform and the guards. The sunlight invaded the hall through the huge breach and everyone saw a huge bird flapping its wings, looking down on all of them.

*SCREEEE*

The huge bird let out a loud cry as it landed on the far end of the hall.

*GRUNT*

A 4-meter tall ethereal beast jumped from the back of the huge bird and started causing chaos in the hall by destroying everything in its path. Jet black flames blazed from its eyes, its fierce tusks, and hooves.

It started burning everything in its path and left nothing in its wake while stomping through the hall.

"AH-HHHHH"

People started escaping while screaming at the top of their voices. How could they contend against a Peak Level Sky Ethereal Realm beast when most of them were in the Earth Ethereal Realm.

A very few people in the Low and Middle Levels of the Sky Ethereal Realm still chose to escape rather than fight a Peak Level Sky Ethereal Realm beast, a flying one at that. Ethereal beasts were after all inherently stronger than humans at the same level.

Why risk their own lives for someone else's guild by fighting an ethereal beast stronger than them.

To hell with the stupid auction...they inwardly screamed as they escaped. But certain people were still trapped under the frightening pressure and they could only helplessly watch as the others escaped.

However, that was not the end of it. Suddenly dozens of Spirit Ethereal Realm beasts came out of Damien, each one having a menacing and berserk aura around them.

"GO! Destroy and annihilate them all!" Damien commanded.

"GROWL*

*GRRRR*

*HOWLL*

...

Each of those undead Spirit Ethereal Realm beasts charged in different directions, causing havoc and destruction wherever they went.

With his soul cultivation breakthrough, Damien was able to control many Spirit Ethereal Realm beasts with his soul energy.

But the two people on the platform were still rooted to the ground, unable to make any movements while their eyes bulged in horror and shock. They couldn't process what was happening.

They had no idea why Damien seemed to be angry at them and causing destruction around the whole place. But seeing the huge flying ethereal beast and the scary Flame Hog, they knew things weren't going to end well for them.historical

They were too shocked and scared to think how these powerful beasts were under Damien's control.

Valentina slowly moved her eyes towards the hall hearing the commotion. Her eyes lit up seeing a familiar figure in the middle of the hall, looking at her.

She hurriedly put up her hands against the cage and started to pull at it frantically. But with her cultivation sealed and the pain in her soul due to the ethereal seal, her strength was very feeble and her face winced in pain for doing something she wasn't ordered to.

'BIG BROTHER DAMIEN!' She wanted to scream but was unable to because of the ethereal seal on her soul. Unless the ethereal seal was removed she wouldn't be able to talk without the permission of the owner of the seal.

Tears escaped from her eyes as it rolled down her hollowed cheeks. Damien saw her teary face and immediately the fuse that was lit inside him blew up.

"Anti-God Art's First Stage - Undying Wrath!!"

He jumped towards the platform and took out his Spirit Ethereal Grade sword, the Storm Breaker.

*CHIZZZ*

But just as he tried to use his ethereal arts using the sword, it exploded into smithereens.

"USELESS!!" Damien bellowed in frustration. Now that his cultivation had increased by over 9 levels, the sword wasn't able to handle his energy output.

He raised his hand and a terrifying jet black thunderbolt, 1 meter long, manifested as it crackled in his hand.

He aimed for the ethereal formation on the cage that acted as a lock and struck the deadly lightning bolt against it.

*CRACKLE*

*SIZZZ*

The ethereal formation immediately got destroyed as a sizzling sound resounded. The cage broke down and Damien immediately took Valentina into his embrace.

"I am sorry...I will never let anyone hurt you ever again." Damien said in an remorseful tone.

"Uwuuuu.." Red hot tears from her sunken eyes ran down her face, each one carving furrows on her tender face.

He felt her petite body shaking while her breathing was ragged, gasping unable to use much strength to even stand on her knees.

Damien felt as if each of those tears were stabbing into his heart thinking about how a little girl like her had to suffer cruel torture on her soul because of him.

He knew best how painful even a simple injury to the soul was. Even the pain from serious physical injuries wouldn't come close to the torment and agony one would feel from their soul.

Flames of anger and regret burned under his skin as the sentiments in his heart brewed over and boiled past the seams he could no longer hold together.

"You...lowly...bastards...." He uttered slowly in a menacing tone as he turned to the two people standing frozen on the platform. Killing intent erupted from Damien as it flooded the entire hall!

For the first time in this world, he released his killing intent that was fuelled by the deaths of billions of people!

The air turned ominous as if death was looming over the entire hall, ready to extinguish their life at any time.

Mary Di and Elder Faust felt suffocated being under such a spine-chilling killing intent Damien was releasing. They were shocked and couldn't fathom the number of people he had to kill to develop such a killing intent. Not even the old powerhouses they knew could come close to his killing intent.

The guards had already fainted under such frightening killing intent. Some of the weaker ones had even died unable to endure the murderous aura.

After all, the cultivation of the guards varied from Peak Level Nascent Ethereal Realm to High Level Spirit Ethereal Realm. How could they endure the inhuman aura exuding from Damien.

Terror sucked the very breath from the mouths of both Mary Di and Elder Faust. They could only hear the palpitating pulse of their heartbeat in their ears blocking out all sound.

Their muscles tensed, as panic washed over them, raising the fine hairs on their neck. They were even too panic-stricken to be surprised that Damien could use lightning.

They literally felt as if Damien was death incarnate, waiting to seize their souls.

Damien's killing intent was so terrifying and intense as he had personally extinguished the souls of every single one of those billions of people he had killed.

However, killing intent won't be developed much even if a person pushes a button to nuke billions of people.

Only when one personally kills somebody and witnesses their pain, despair, and resentment, would their killing intent develop.

Damien receded his killing intent realizing that he can't kill them yet since he needed them.

Damien ordered Misty to lower down the pressure to allow them to talk.

"Senior...please enlighten us...what we did to incur your wrath.." Mary Di fell to her knees and said in a shaky voice as soon as the pressure on her body lessened. Her pretty countenance had lost all color and her whole body was trembling.
