Rise of The Anti God

Chapter 462 - Becoming The Crown Prince

Soon everything settled down, and all the Forsaken cultivators were either killed, especially since they didn't get a chance to escape because of getting surrounded from all sides.

The only escape path they had built could have saved them, but only Drake could open it. And so, without him, they became no different than a confused herd of sheep who got slaughtered.

Damien smiled, knowing that no one managed to escape and already knew that he wouldn't get any information from them since he was sure Drake wouldn't inform them of his true purpose, nor can he even if he wanted to.

Kale had asked Tristen what was the plan now that they had got rid of the Forsaken cultivators from the kingdom. He couldn't wait to get his revenge and pay back the humiliation he suffered ten fold. Never in his life did he see this coming.

As planned with the little king, Damien told him that he would let the little king continue his rule while making him agree that the kingdom would be under the Gale Empire's wing.

The little king was okay with this since he trusted Tristen and felt that there could only be troubles if he refused. Now that his sister was saved, he didn't want to be the cause of any more distress for his family or people.

The name Tristen echoed through the Gale Empire since Kale made sure that even his own achievements were transferred to Tristen's name as planned to make sure Tristen's name shone the most and caught the emperor's eye.

The majority of the people in the empire were flabbergasted to hear that the rumored second prince of the Gale Empire known for his debauchery was capable and strong enough to wrest control back from the infamous Forsaken after being at a stalemate for an entire month.

Various sources confirmed that the Gale Emperor never provided any help personally and only sent a small army for Tristen to take back control.

They had heard about the so-called impenetrable barrier set up by the Forsaken and how it had discouraged the imperial family from taking action for a long time.

Nobody could find out how Tristen managed to break in since the barrier was rumored to not even let Peak Heaven Ethereal Realm cultivators inside since some lone cultivators of said cultivation tried to break in to garner some favor from the imperial family only to get discouraged.

Kale got heavily overshadowed, and not many were even discussing him other than gossiping about how the second prince had more chance than him in becoming the crown prince.

Since Tristen gained an empire-wide achievement, what he did could not go unnoticeable even by the ministers of the empire as they advised the Gale Emperor that Tristen was a good choice to be given the title of the crown prince.

Damien knew that even if the Gale Emperor didn't want to make Tristen the crown prince, he would have to seriously consider making him one since he would be getting political pressure from all sides.

However, Damien was fortunate since the Gale Emperor himself thought that Tristen had turned a new leaf recently, and even if he gave his first son a second chance, he wasted it.

He wanted to see whose achievements during the retake would echo more in the empire, only to see a one-sided defeat from Kale's side.

So thinking that Tristen was the best choice, the Gale Emperor already gave out the decree that Tristen would be granted the title of the crown prince, much to Damien's glee.

Kale got a bit worried if Tristen would go back on his words after becoming the crown prince but was relieved to see that Tristen didn't backstab him and instead reassured him that he would let him get his revenge soon.

Damien now not only had the personal support of the Shizar Kingdom, but now he had indirect influence over the Gale Empire since his slave, Tristen, was the crown prince.

He also was making Tristen keep an eye on Farah all the time to see whether she would go back on her words or not. But fortunately, she was playing according to his rules, and nothing seemed out of order.

In fact, after peace was restored to the Shizar Kingdom and Damien got back to the imperial city, she was waiting for Tristen in Luton Town with the Pandemonium Needles.historical

Tristen received a huge and warm reception by the people upon his return as they all sang praises for him loud and clear and even lots of influential people sent gifts to his mansion in Luton Town.

Of course, these "gifts" sometimes included top-notch beauties various families sent in hopes of Tristen taking a liking to them as concubines or at least as personal maids since even the personal maid of the crown prince could receive a lot of benefits.

Damien felt two piercing gazes from behind him the moment he saw these beauties lined up before his mansion and had to mentally reassure his women that he was going to send them back.

He knew these two were only teasing him since they were sure that Damien would never sleep around with women casually.

After entering his mansion with Yuria and Valentina, Damien continued to play his fake persona as Godnim as he looked at Farah and asked plainly, "So you got them, right?"

Farah snorted, and without saying anything, she handed over two green needles that not only looked quite glossy but looked quite sturdy as well, making Damien realize that the one who forged these needles was indeed a true expert.

Even Yuria, who loved to forge things, was impressed by how fine the needles were, especially its sharp tip that could ensure an almost perfect precision.

"If you think these two are fake, feel free to verify it with any experts you know. You have no idea how hard it was for me to pull this off. If the emperor one day needs these needles and finds out that the ones he possessed were fake, then we all are good as dead," Farah said with crossed arms as if she wanted to see how Godnim would react.

Damien didn't have to ask an expert to see if this was the real deal, and he was also sure Farah wouldn't trick him with this since there was no point.

He anyway let Yuria take a look since she was the only expert here, and as expected, Yuria nodded, indirectly telling him that this was the real deal.

However, hearing Farah's last few words, Damien smirked and said, "You don't have to worry about that. Who knows, I might be telling you to return these needles to their original place after I am done with them."

Damien hoped that the Forsaken wouldn't need these needles permanently since otherwise like Farah said, the Gale Emperor wouldn't sit still.

But he was not too worried since the only one who was going to take the hit would be Farah only.

"So now that I did your dirty work, are you going to remove the stupid miniature ethereal formation on me?" Farah asked with narrowed eyes.
