Rise of The Anti God

Chapter 516 - Reva's Heavenly Talent

Yohr's eyes widened in shock when he felt a sharp stabbing sensation on his back and immediately realized that a large ice spike had stabbed through his back without him even realizing it.

"How?! Ughh.." Yohr grimaced since the ice spike had punctured through a vital point on his body that would forcibly render him unable to channel ethereal energy for at least the next few minutes till his body's regeneration heals it. But since it was a vital point, the healing would be way slower, and he could only grit his teeth as he pushed his body out from the large ice spike.

Seeing how bewildered he was to not have sensed the sneak attack from her, she said, "Just because I learned your divine ethereal arts, doesn't mean that is the only thing I learned."

Yohr's eyes shook when he made a sudden realization out of her words, "You comprehended the Supreme Realm of Elemental Spatial Laws??"

This was a great shocker to Yohr since this was not something a mortal could easily comprehend. In fact, it was highly impossible for even the strongest mortal in the world since what Reva just did was proof that she did indeed comprehend a higher aspect of the Spatial Laws that allowed her to simply manifest her elemental attacks anywhere at any location, even within a body instantaneously.

She could have already taken some large ice spike lying around in the cave and then manifested the same ice spike in his body instantaneously before he could even sense it.

These kinds of attacks were almost impossible to sense unless one had their ethereal aura spread around to detect the manifestation of such attacks in their body. And even then, there would be no guarantee, especially if the attacker has a good hold over their spatial laws.

However, it didn't really matter if Reva had a good or poor understanding of these laws since Yohr was conserving his energy and would never waste it by extending his aura from his body. Why would he even do that when he never expected Reva to have the ability to execute such profound attacks?historical

Reva didn't reply, but instead, she was inwardly astonished that her attack successfully struck Yohr and even hurt him in the vital point as planned. This made her feel that her speculation was correct.

The moment when she first saw the bloodied appearance of Yohr, she was surprised that Damien was able to deal such devastating injuries to Yohr, though it still didn't make sense to her since how could Damien possibly be stronger than a god even if Yohr's cultivation was far below his true one?

Still, she decided to think about that later as she noticed another fact while talking with Yohr to buy herself some time to manifest her attack.

Yohr hadn't killed or immobilized her and even was entertaining her questions, making her realize that he had been severely injured to the point that he couldn't dare to waste his precious ethereal essence by using his ethereal arts, and so she took a gamble by deciding to use her elemental spatial attack even though it required her some time to prepare it.

This time she conjured multiple ice spikes in the air using her icy ethereal energy and shot them towards a disgruntled Yohr who had barely removed himself from the large ice spike that manifested within his body but still didn't let go of Damien.

It was as if he was too desperate to have come this far and even sacrificed most of the cultivation he had painstakingly recovered over these dozens of centuries. He was just too afraid of losing Damien's body and brought forward his tail to protect himself against those ice spikes Reva had shot towards him.

"Ugh!" But even if his tail was large and big enough to smash down most of the ice spikes, he was unable to block all of them and had to turn around and use his muscular back to protect himself from those ice spikes, though they were powerful enough to stab through his skin, making him grimace in pain, anger, and humiliation since when did he ever fall so low to have protected himself using his own body against the attacks of a mortal?

Reva was feeling more and more anxious since Damien was still being held within Yohr's grip, and she had no idea how severe his injuries were without inspecting him and if he needed immediate treatment.

She could only gather all the ethereal energy she could to manipulate the icy water from the pool and manifested a huge water snake that looked similar to Yohr, though it only had one large head with fangs that were large and sharp enough to make one feel the chills.

It was at least twenty meters long, and its body was humungous to almost take up half of the space in the icy chamber.

"Go!" Reva shouted as she waved her hands to direct the huge water snake towards Yohr, who felt even more annoyed and humiliated to feel wary towards his own ethereal arts.

Since he can't channel his ethereal energy, there was no way for him to cancel an attack derived from his own ethereal arts.

He could only watch helplessly as the huge water snake coiled around him, trapping him within its iron grip and restraining his limbs.

"Foolish girl! Do you really think this is going to hold me? You are merely delaying your own death. No matter how much you wound me, I will always heal back," Yohr snickered as the wounds caused by Reva's ice spikes had already completely healed till he was as good as new.

Reva frowned, knowing that one of Yohr's greatest powers was his divine regeneration, though she wondered how Damien managed to hurt him to the point where he was unable to regenerate anymore.

"I know I can't kill you, but I only need him," Reva coldly replied as she used her ethereal energy to make Yohr loosen his grip around Damien's body to let go of him so that she could bring him towards her.

Yohr's facial expression contorted to the extremes seeing how he was going to lose his lifeline any moment and decided to sacrifice his soul essence as his eyes began to shine with azure light, before all five heads of his blasted powerful spirit beams towards Reva, who didn't expect Yohr to take such an extreme step and wasn't able to dodge in time as she got blasted towards the other side of the cave before collapsing on the ground in an unconscious state.

"Hmph, impudent mortal," Yohr scoffed as the huge ethereal water snake that was trapping him immediately disintegrated into tiny water droplets, freeing him in the process.
