The Tale Of Kitsuna

Chapter 150

Chapter 150

“Hehehe, it’s been a long time Lady Draig, Lady Kayda.” Unmun Kuni said, bowing down to us three.

‘Huh, hammer user? His daughter has the same class. But why is the dumbass a smith? Whatever has nothing to do with me.’ I thought, looking at Unmuns wife. She didn’t look like much though you could easily see her looks in her kids.

“You are a chef?” I uttered without thinking about it that I only got a smile from her and a bigger smile from her husband.

“hehe, yes, she is the best chef ever.” The marquis said, interrupting his wife. Gesturing to the snacks on the table that I presume she actually made.

“I can smell that she is a great chef,” I said, taking a small plate before filling it with the snack.

“kitsu, everyone needs to get some.” Mom said, looking at my stack plate.

“Not everyone. You two ain’t getting any,” I said, looking at mom and kayda.

“W-why,” Mom muttered, looking at the snacks longingly.

.....

“you dragged me to a family meeting that isn’t even about our family,” I complained, holding the snack away from her greedy hands.

“But-”

“I don’t care,” I said, interrupting her while taking small bights of the snack while staring at her dead in the eyes.

“sigh, so what are your guys’ plans?” Kayda asked, looking at the two Kuni parents while pointing at the two kids sitting on their knees on the floor.

“that... we can’t do anything,” Unmun said with some resolve.

“what do you mean you can’t do anything,” Kayda asked, tilting her head in annoyance.

“They are high dwarfs.” The father said, ashamed.

“...”

“...”

“And you?” Kayda said, looking at the mother.

“I don’t do that kind of thing.” The mother explained with a straight face.

“You, you don’t scold your children?” Kayda said, astonished at the dumb actions.

“Yes.”

“Sigh, what do I expect? All dwarfs are worship maniacs.”

“What?” I said, confused at her muttering.

“ah, dwarfs worship stuff easily,” Mom muttered next to kayda.

“wow, not something I would have seen coming,” I said, flicking my ears and getting more annoyed.

“uh,” hearing a weird sound coming from the kids’ direction, I saw Ranina looking at my ears with stars in her eyes. Feeling uncomfortable by her stair, I looked at kayda only to see she also noticed it, but her glare wasn’t friendly at all.

“shorty, don’t even think about touching those. Your name Kuni won’t be able to save you.” Kayda said, menacingly making Ranina go pale.

“r-right, I won’t do anything.” Ranines’ brother said, way more pale than his sister.

“Who said you could talk,” Kayda said, glaring at her again.

“eep!”

“Sigh, we not getting anywhere,” I muttered, shaking my head in disappointment.

“Yeah, so guys, why don’t you just educate your kids properly?” Kayda asked with a raised eyebrow looking at the two parents.

“as we said, we can not do that.” The head Kuni said, shaking his head.

“Sigh, just send them to the draig territory. We will sort out them.”

“But?”

“no, buts, we cant kids like them take over a marquis house.” Mom said, narrowing her eyes at them.

“I don’t approve.” Mr Kuni said, glaring at mother.

“what are you going to do? Swing your little hammer at me? Come on, please, everyone knows you don’t have the courage even to try it.” Mom said, scoffing sarcastically at him.

‘oh, it’s getting really interesting. Though I understand him being afraid of mother.’ I thought while enjoying my snacks happily.

“This is my kids we are talking about. Who knows what they will become after you are done with them.” The man said, trying to hold his own ground.

“uh, better than trash, probably,” I said not even looking at him.

“ah! They are not trash.” The man yelled, losing his cool.

“I beg to differ. People or humanoids that attack innocent weaklings don’t deserve to be anything but trash.” I said, not even looking at him, focusing on the snacks in my hands.

“...” After hearing what I said, the man just sat there baffled, failing to have enough resolution to help his kids.

“...” ON the other hand, Kayda and mom stared at me, waiting for an explanation of some sort for what I just said.

“I have never attacked an innocent person with malice,” I said, feeling the gazes of kayda and mother on me.

“True.” They both said, shrugging.

“But you do attack weak people a lot,” Mom muttered, making me glare at her for a second.

“that... that I cant defend myself against,” I said, looking back at my snacks.

“hah, so you are no-”

“hold your horses, I said innocent, and I have never attacked innocent people, okay,” I said, narrowing my eyes at the Kuni head.

“Grr,”

“Now it’s settled, they will come to the draigs with us.” Mom said, getting an annoying glare from both kayda and me.

historical

“why now,” Kayda said, annoyed, not wanting to be together with the dwarfs.

“because we are here and heading to the territory tomorrow.” Mom said, tilting her head at Kayda.

“tsk, I don’t like the Kunis at all,” I muttered, taking the new play full of snacks off the table, intending to devour them as well.

“kitsu, you going to get fat~.” Kayda teased from the side.

“you!!” I started saying before multiple explosions went off outside the mansion.

Boom!

Hearing the explosions, I looked at mom, who had a serious face on, while the Kuni head had a weird gloomy facial expression.

“what’s going on?” Kayda asked, looking at the depressed Kuni family.

“dwarf, tell us what is going on,” Mom growled, pulling the hair off Kuni’s head.

“w-we don’t know.” He stuttered, not making eye contact with mom.

‘why, why, why must shit always hit the fan when I am close!!!’ I thought in anger, hearing all the screams coming from the city. I already knew what was going on and who was attacking the city.

“uh, kitsu calmdown?” Kayda said, putting on mu shoulder.

“tsk fuck my bad luck!” I shouted, huffing afterwards.

“Please do explain what is going on.” Mom said, still holding the Kuni nutcases head in her hands while looking at me.

“The fucken devil cult fuckers are here,” I said, narrowing my eyes at the window using of killing intent.

“How!?” Kayda said, more frustrated than surprised.

“how? You really don’t know shit what’s going on in the kingdom. I had the thought but holy shit, you are useless.” I said annoyed while glaring at the Kuni head.

“how many?”

“fuck knows, but the useless horny females are already fighting them,” I explained, returning to the snacks and trying to forget the problems.

“winning?” Mom said, taking away my snacks from me.

“what do you think? If they were losing against them, I would really kill them.” I said, walking to the window and looking outside. I could see multiple dead bodies on the ground. All of them wore dark capes signifying that the were devil cult people.

“horny?” Kayda said, tilting my head at me, confused.

“you didn’t see. The twins are all over chinada, and you already know about Nekro and Apricot.” I explained, getting two weird gazes from them.

“You?” Mom and kayda said in unison confused.

“why are you guys so confused? Isn’t it obvious?” I said, baffled at the two.

“yes it is but you arent actually that den-”

“Don’t even finish that sentence. I swear I will rip your arms off.” I said, glaring at Mom.

.....

“hahaha.”

“... you guys are making jokes when we are under attacked.” The mother of the two Kunis said, baffled at our antics.

“what is there to worry about? It’s not like they will get any close the this room.” Kayda said, shrugging.

“Ah, but also want to fight,” I said, looking at her with pleading eyes.

“I also want to go capture some of them and see if I can get anything out of them.” Mom said, still not letting go of the kunis head.

“That might be quite tricky. They should know what I did before all this so that they might have made some preparations for torture and capture. Well better ones than before, of course.”

“you, but that’s for you not me.”

“And?”

“big defrince, my dear daughter.” Mom said, slamming the Kunis’s head on the table and knocking him out.

Bang!

“is there,” I muttered, seeing her walk out of the room, leaving us behind.

“how can she be so brutal to my baby.” Madam Kuni said, looking at her knocked-out husband worriedly.

“Why should she be nice to some as useless as him?” I said, annoyed, shaking my head and walking out and waving bye to kayda.

“be careful, okay? They know about you.”

“I will do that. You take care of these guys.” I said, closing the door again.

“Sigh, giving the most annoying problems.”
